In personal experience with the Island and Extinction artifacts, they seem to respawn anywhere between 5-15m on official if someone's sitting in the area watching Youtube waiting for the damn things to respawn.

I played PvP, I just played it the way it was it not meant to be cushy. Cushy is unofficial PVE. Only reason I stopped playing is I couldn’t keep up with PVP and PVE at the same time

the last time i played pvp i was riding my argy and suddenly some1 with a fab started shooting my argy it died whatever i parachute into the forest i run deep into the jungle and hide in harvestable bushes that i thought you couldnt turn off he runs straight up to me and shoots me in the head, come to find out u can just turn the whole map flat with no trees rocks or bushes. to me thats the same as fucking esp?

The bottom line is that official PvP is a really bad idea for anyone other than masochists and cheats.

The best PvP this game offers will always be on private servers that can be very closely watched and curated. That's not the case for official.

There's 2,983 official servers (give or take a few, I'm using a public tracker for this) showing on Battlemetrics. One admin can effectively monitor 20 servers' chats per shift, and 3 would be needed each day to provide coverage. But in order to ensure no overtime for what would obviously not be a salaried position, you'd need to hire a few extra to make sure people are only pulling 35-40 hours a week instead of 56.

Gimme a sec and I can do the math on all that.
