I strongly disagree here, doors should align with all doorframes so that builders have more choice. People often paint their structures and sometimes a wood doorframe and a stone door work best for aesthetic reasons.

it has never been a setting, at least in normal ark. when you die, your body and inventory stays behind and you get a new body. mods solve it by locating your dropped items and transferring them to your new inventory. i dont think there is any ability to do that in the game. nitrado may have been using some sort of plugin

Subject: Suggestion to improve building management on official servers

Hello Development Team,

I have been playing Ark since its launch and I want to say how much I love this game. However, I am quite disappointed by a recurring issue on the official servers: most of the maps are almost blocked by unnecessary structures (pillars, foundations, etc.), which makes it very difficult for new players or solo players to settle.

This system ends up being discouraging, as we quickly feel limited and blocked in our progression.

I would like to suggest a possible solution:
• Introduce a system of tribe towers to define and limit building zones.
• Players could only build within the radius of their main tower.
• It could also be possible to place small secondary towers (paid with element), with the cost increasing depending on the number already placed, to allow secondary bases without abuse.

This way, building would be better localized, and it would prevent a few players from monopolizing entire servers at the expense of others.

I truly hope my suggestion will be taken into account, because it is becoming increasingly difficult to settle on official maps under good conditions.

Yeah that would be rough unless it’s on a specific animation cycle.

Parapuzosia IRL had a 6 foot diameter shell, the thing I am making is like Megalodon sized and can tank bullets like it’s nothing.

Not a high damage tame but leans heavily into utility and tanking hits.

It also can jet water like a massive firehose

If you are trying to take items that don’t belong to your tribe and belong to another player or tribe you can’t just take things, if it’s an egg, on the ground you should be able to pick it up
