Only part of that is true , a fix was deployed and ase with mods is working on ASE 360.2, old established servers using mods that are outdated or incompatible use the 358 preaquatica branch. Xbox, and epic users have varied results due to win10 no longer being supported and the epic launcher is waiting for epic to update

For me, I edit ASA's appmanifest file within Steamapps folder in Steam with Notepad++ and set the "StagingFolder" "2" value to "0".

Hence the problem, it doesn't fucking run well. I have a tolerable amount of crashes, for a game such as this. It isn't so much the issue as much as its expectations being put forth,and the unfinished products being sold for cash, thats the problem. If I promised a microwave that heats up your food, and all you got was a box that spun your food in a circle, you would be pissed.
