I’d recommend making a trap if you have a doed and mammoth, then using a primitive bow and primitive shotgun and good set of flak to get its health down. It’s very resource costly but it’s the best for the long run if you want to get multiple. I’ve done two non trapped and one trapped and it’s definitely much more simple.

Also, I’d recommend not wasting time with a 20-30 bug because without cravings its level isn’t going to be great (coming from someone who spent a 350 bronto on a bug w/o cravings and got a 50 😭)

Even with cravings a level 30 bug really is probably only going to net you a 40 with the bronto, I’d probably recommend trying to find a better bug. What map are you on?

I should also clarify- is this bug meant to be actually used as a fighting tame and general tame, or just for carrying Dino’s? If it’s just for carrying Dino’s it’s not necessarily that important to worry about level

If it is just for transport and weight then discard what I said but if it’s meant to be your main flyer I’d recommend going for a higher level

It’s not necessarily required for any level it just makes it so much easier and when you’re done after the rhynio is 10% then it won’t fly away because it will be stuck inside the trap box and not be able to leave. And it’s big enough for the bronto to fit inside comfortably as well

You should probably look up a guide on YouTube since I don’t know the exact specifics on the best ways and I haven’t done a ton of taming but traps are usually easier

Yes you want it to be of stone so it can’t break it and then it will fly away from the attacker after impregnating the host creature and just be flying around the trap because it’s boxed in

if u are getting updates, that means u are on the Aquatica version, that's a unstable and worse version of ASE. Switch to preaquatica beta

on steam, right click ark, go to properties, go to betas, switch the dropbox to preaquatica beta

this will switch your game to a more stable version and that u can use mods with no problems

i was on latest driver issue and after like 10-15 mins my fps would drop to like 80-90 from 130+

and it was so stuttery and gpu usage was 60-70%

rolling back to 577 stopped that but the first launch of the game of the day i get that same issue until i restart my game

I guess I got spoiled by the other mod creators who added several variants for pieces for the same price

On official...We (3 ppl)didnt even bother shooting or using broth. Just used megalos...put them on the boss on neutral and went around on our megs with 1 following to take down tentacles. Used light pet.
