Well yeah, they still remain the human equivalent of an unstable nuclear reactor

Lambert was an ogryn living his life peacefully

He had a wife and a daughter.

He was unique, a very prayin ogryn and smarter then average,

but mostly STRONG.

He would train everytime he had too,

but one day he was called to fight and he was sent to a smelter to fight khorn adepts,
while fighting he lost his necklace wich was a praying icon
(forgot the name)
he looked after it while fighting
then he found it weirdly shaped
so thinking it was prolly the heat that got it weird he just put it back on
after freeing that smelter he just goes to a shrine and ask why is necklace so weird, the zealots and most of the rest called other autorities and took lambert away for investigation
everyone who saw lambert getting taken away by some space marines and inquisitors were worried of what happen cuz they know lambert isnt a bad person
so they investigate and discovered that lambert is cursed against his will by the necklace he has,
the necklace was reforged with a khorn necklace.
Most of the person involved in this investigation were like "We must smite this ... crused fiend before it get south investigator !".
But the investigator noticed that lambert was completly in control as of right-now and senced that the emperor blessing on him and had an idea.

They sent back lambert to his village and talked to the citizen of the situation and to not fear.

Lambert ofc was unable to say anything cuz of the gravity of the situation but everyone around knew he could make it his family were also very worried
but happy he was still here, especially his ... daughter that was as much special as him.

A human-half ogryn

she was ofc small and had normal brain activity as a human but was still larger and stronger
so lambert lived his life normaly but as time passed lambert starting to change physicly,he was ... growing bigger to reach the size of a grey ogryn
and his intelligence started to grow.

Eveyrone around him didnt care cuz he was still the same person
but thing were starting to get odd when they noticed lambert didnt seem to suffer from aging
he lost a bit of hair and they turned grey ofc
but ogryns only lives to their 60s,
so ofc he lost his wife due to old age, he changed to be a bit more grumpier but was still happy to hang around friends and was very protective for his daughter
he was waiting for his time ... but then after 10 years he was taken away again to see how was he still on his feet and 70 years old, they finnaly discorvered that lambert CANNOT die of old age and ofc with that .... he knew it was the worst thing to know.
Because ... if he cannot die nor suffer from old age,he would OUTLIVE everyone he knew... including his daughter and ofc it happened.

Time passes again.... he became very distant of everyone that get to meet him.

he was the oldest ogryn to ever live and still is,
he would respect people that were parents and people that were strong enough or to impress him.
He got under the command of another investigator that is watching him closely and after many years he got to mourning star.

Ofc on the mourning star he get to meet BomBardin
they got along in a mission because bom was doing his job with might and such,Bom knew he had to leave lambert most of the time alone.
But domino didnt knew that.

Once they were at the canteeen of the mourning star eating, Domino notices him and tries to talk with him but being told to go away but she was stobburn
so when Lambert decide to turn around and speaking loudly,
everyone was watching a bit in fear cuz ... a grey ogryn that was 4 m tall starting to shout was not really a good sound
Then Lambert saw domino and just stopped, he was just staring like "flabbergasted".
He shooked that off and got up and walked out of the canteen without saying anything.
Everyone was confused but Bom was more curious just like Domino.

Then domino found something on the floor, a necklace but an actual jewel that could hold photos,it could be opened
but it was very large so she guessed it was Lambert's.

She went to find him, wich she did and gived it back to him, he thanked her before closing the door of his quarters.
Something was odd, what appened ? Well Domino was soon to find out.

Because him and her were sent to atoma on a mission,a very hard one.

They were going smoothly thx to lambert and domino's mights, wich impressed lambert
but while fighting domino go injured grieviously,

she fell on the ground groaning and helped by a psyker and veterant
but when lambert saw that,
a very loud noise was heard through that entire area and the most feral shout of anger was heard.

A most rampaging,angered grey ogryn was on the loose,
every heretics were reduce to nothing,
a chaos spawn got his tentacal ripped off,
a plague ogryn skull crushed to mush,
and a beast of nurgle pulverised.
Ofc his squad witnessed everything
Domino passed out in the middle of the massive destruction.
The thing that was also notable was something on lambert fore-head,
a symbol,
a fusion between the aquila symbole and khorn's that dispeared when Lambert's rampage was done.

the area was completly closed due to the impressiv destruction.
Domino's was healed up and she woken up in the medical bay and lambert was standing by to be sure she woked up.

So domino's first question when she woked up was "why ? why such rampage just for 1 personne you barely know".
Lambert took her to his quarters when the doctor said she could walk fine.

He took the necklace she gave him back and opened it and inside was a picture of his family, domino had the same face then his daughter,
minus the ogryn teeth ofc !
So they started to get along better and Lambert was less grumpy.

Bom and Domino got to hear his story told by him and they became a pretty good trio!

I might join in with the tragic backstories by giving the traumatic event they all keep to themselves.

Born into life working for a Manufactorum, Markus Sampson always had a knack for tinkering. Bit by bit, he stole parts necessary for building an Autogun of his own. During the few off days he'd get per Terran Year, countable on one hand, he'd take his gun down to the underhive, training in an (unfortunately) ganger owned range.

Eventually a scribe in the upper levels put the pieces together, just like Markus. The judges new his talents would be wasted under execution, so Penal work it was, mostly under use of the PDF. He never saw much of his daughter after the fact, little Flinte likely ended up in an orphanage, ran by the local zealots of the Hab District. He knew she'd be okay, but he still wishes he got to say goodbye first.

Inevitably he got sent off world, his pension for going AWOL during his time with the PDF meant he couldn't be held. Who better to discipline him than the Inquisition? Just in time for the Battle for Tertium.

Things surprisingly got better for him. No more regimentimg, no more standard uniforms, best of all; he got to select his own armaments. Autoguns are what he started with, and by the throne, it's what he'd use. Eventually he met a rather interesting psyker. He kept showing up through all his deployments, so they got to know each other. The psyker didn't have a name, apparently, so Markus gave him his own: Sampson. Their.. relationship made things weird when he suddenly ran into his Daughter. She made one hel of a Zealot, that's for sure, but she always kept quiet when her father asked how she ended up here.

In the end, it doesn't matter as much as it should; he's got his family again, and he's able to keep them safe. Maybe there is a happy ending in the 41st Millennium.

Karma was born in the bowels of Branx Magna where the Emperor’s holy light does not shine she was an orphaned girl whose innocence did not last as she grew up around some of the worst cut-throats and kingpins who were the unofficial law. It would not be long before she became a fully-fledged Blackvermin Ganger, committing her first series of crimes in her early teens. She would lose her eye after trying to double-cross her boss who was merciful enough to spare her as he took a shine to the rapscallion: teaching her to pick her fights better.

Her streak of luck would end when the Enforcers commenced a sweep, killing many Hive-Gangers and forcing the rest to be enlisted in the Imperial Guard. She proved herself a competent addition but quickly got in trouble after a Commissar spotted her looting a fallen comrade, were it not for the small friendship she had with a reputable sergeant who vouched for her she would’ve been executed on the spot. Instead, she was sent to the Penal World of Savlar where she alongside many like-minded individuals was given one last chance to serve the Imperium as the Savlar Chem Dogs: getting to keep whatever spoils they could get their grubby hands on. These conditions suited Karma who would shortly get back to the fight.

She once again got into more trouble, getting sent to the Tancred Bastion where she escaped alongside Explicator Orgustine Zola who saw use in an Ex-Hive Ganger. Despite the odds stacked against her she proves to be a valuable operative who is still under strict surveillance given her untrustworthy demeanor.

Whether she will one day be executed for one crime too many or survive long enough to become a Rogue Trader's bodyguard remains to be seen.

Serena was born on Messilina Gloriana, and joined the local PDF at a young age, quickly rising up to become a squad leader due to her shocking cleverness, but she always strived to join the guard proper. During a battle against some feral cultists, her entire squad was killed, leaving her as the only survivor, where a sargeant saw her as a valuble asset, though in need of some correction.

Her time in the guard would be an odd experience, filled with the sargeants shouting and berating, nosy commissars and nights in cold, wet forests. However much of her unit would be destroyed in combat with an Ork WAAGH, and would be merged with a unit of Loyalist beastmen to aid in their guerilla abilities. During this time, Serena would meet a similarly aged Ungor, by the name of Ruck wh would become a member of her squad specifically. The two would often be deployed together, her own marksmanship combined with Rucks sense for danger and anything edible that wasn't corpse starch. The two would often volunteer for outer lookout duty, only partially to spend time away from the embittered sargeant.

It was supposed to be a joke. She just wanted to hear that snorting little laugh Ruck always let out when he was amused. It only took a few seconds after her saying her tin came from a clown for the commissar to start screaming in her face like she'd spat on his mother. As she was carted onto a flyer, she gave one last look at Ruck before the doors shut, sending her away to the Tancred bastion, and what she believed to be a fate worse than any death.

Now under the inquisition, she pokes and prods all she serves with, fleecing them for their dockets in games of cards (whenever not playing against masozi), and laughing at their irritation or anger. But every morning, some rejects hear her saying one final prayer when exiting the chapel.. To find that snorting little karker, alive and well aboard this piece of junk ship

had to do several important calls

-Mornax, a mining world known for his hellish condiction, populated with hardy and dour civilisation,
but also known for having incredible minerals and moebian steel in one particular mine under the command of a mining guild.

-This guild was under the orders of 1 ogryn by the surprise and worries of everyone, but this particular ogryn only had one goal: get the job done well and on time.

-BomBardin was the name this ogryn would respond, to some he is a big oaf not knowing what he is doing and to some other the smartest ogryn alive and the most hard working ogryn.

-He grew on this very planet developping interest into explosives, mining, eating and salvaging, in his young days he was working at a salvage yard for a while then decided to work in the mines where he showed a strange particular ability to sence moebian steel and precious mineral veins and extract them without damaging anything from those veins.

-Usually he is kind hearted and always helping but can left you to rot if you decide to get on his wrong side.

-In terms of combat, BomBardin is equipped with an experimental bone'ead that are supposed to make him smarter, wich it did but works half the time and overheat very hard but otherwise he has an incredible aim for anogryn, a good sense of time to throw his bombs and prepare his own prototypes wich most of techpriest are in extrem disagreement.

-Everything was about to change for him, one night after a day of hard work as usuall, his guild and him had the autorisation to go "waste theirselfs" and so he drank..and drank and drank with alot of his pals....but the next day after a long drinking night and a lil "accident" with certain zealot and he got arrested for lack in his duty, in fact the planet got attacked in the same time but since he was sleeping and been found at his home, he lost everything, his guild, his friends and his mines.

-Being sent to a prison ship, he didnt care about anything anymore, everything he had work for ? GONE, a commissar showed up and told him he should be ashamed...but BomBardin didnt cared about all these words out of the funny guy with cool hat, suddently the commissar asked him "...are you still a hardworker ? a proud laborer ?", bombardin just responded "yes" with a cold tone but the commissar saw in his eyes he is on his guards.

-The commissar then offered the big man to redeem himself and prouve himself to be a proud laborer and a valiant hardworker in combat by sending him into the mourning star fighting the chaos on atoma, Bombardin accepted without a second thought and without any others words.

-Bombardin kept his words and fought on many mission given by his superiors and earned a new name on the mourning star in short ammount of time but not just a new name, new friends a new thing to work HARD for, all this without knowing what kind of adventure awaits him.

The higher-ups of the 31st assigned me and my squad to retrieve one of the few surviving tech-priests of the hive city from their hiding spot in the hourglass the dregs as the soldiers are calling them were on the hunt for this tech priest as well goes by the name of Vakik-Nu-3. The bastards were dug in for us to get through thankfully it wasn't our first time getting past the dug in defenders, we were able to reach Vakik before the dregs thankfully, Emperor knows what they would have done to him we were on our way back to extraction. Suddenly the traitor of our home once known as the sixth showed up with their hounds we were thankfully able to deal with the patrol we ran into, but we knew there would be more so we had to double-time it back to the extraction ship once we reached the extraction ship last minute we heard a long las shot open up with jack on the ground missing his right arm and the tech priest scared so we had to drag em both in. After we returned to our staging area some inquisitorial soldiers took Vakik with them but he insisted Jack be taken with him as repayment for saving his life, I didn't know some tech priests had emotions you learn something new every day in the guard.

To repay Jack for saving my life I replaced his now missing arm with a superior prosthetic arm due to this he needs to keep it repaired and looked after the Machine Gods work I would recommend assigning him to one of your strike teams to make use of his special skills and familiarity with the Hive city of Atoma and so I can help maintain his new superior limbs

The 'High Lord' of Hive Ahropo

Even before her awakening, Karliah had felt different from her kin. She held ambitions which soared higher than any other, beyond the petty vices of material gain and carnal relief; far grander, and far more selfish, tainted by her silent skepticism of the way things were. Though she was but a street rat, she had the heart of a Lord.

But Vostroya was cold to her, the hive city she called home even colder: her family was broken apart, shattered by the unbearable weight of bureacracy, as a simple misaligned reallocation of 'resources' would scatter each member into different districts. For almost any bottom-rung manufactorum worker, this might as well have been a world away.

So, Karliah did what she could. Striving to survive on what little she earned, struggling under the weight of a quota that her grief-fatigued body simply could not meet. Insufficient effort meant insufficient funds, and insufficient funds meant insufficient food. Weighing the risks, Karliah took to thievery to make up the difference, risking her life to avoid the ever-looming pangs of hunger and despair.

And it spiralled. From stealing food to pickpocketing, from pickpocketing to trespassing, Karliah was lured into the criminal life by trinkets and thrills, her desires no better than those she would claim superiority over. Eventually, she found security in joining a hive-gang: at least, they called themselves a hive-gang. In reality, they were a motley bunch of skinny little hive rats, but the company was something Karliah could not have lived without, truth be told.

When the Awakening came, years later, it was they who Karliah first revealed her powers to: she was young, and foolish, and saw her skills as a gift from the Emperor rather than the burgeoning bud of psykana, remaining in denial about the fate that awaited her. Their close bond, as well as some unknowing psychic manipulation, was all that stood between her and discovery, capture, and execution. At least, she'd hope that would be it. The Black Ships are always returning, after all.

Secret and secluded, Karliah would again and again touch the Warp, her hands gliding across the surface only enough to cause the slightest ripples. Even for someone of her ego and lack of education, she felt in her soul that to reach further would be to drown in the unending deep of the Immaterium. And each passing month, her reclusive nature would lose her friend after friend: some dying, some joining real hive gangs, and others simply drifting away. So careful was she, that her abilities hardly developed by the end of the year. And so, Karliah sought a teacher.

Rumours were her only lead, and each disappointment and dead end only drove her to search harder, slinking through the hive and plying her crimimal trades all the while. It was the most ridiculous of rumours that would prove to be the most fruitful, however: a mutant psyker from one of Vostroya's Great Wars, old and wisened, dwelled in forgotten sublevels and meditated upon the Warp, seeking meaning in the madness. It was he that Karliah would find, would learn from, twisted and paraphrased teachings of the Scholastia Psykana echoing through her incomparable mind, lacking the indoctrination and psychic severance that was oh-so common in sanctioning.

A rogue psyker does not go without being noticed, even in the best of cases, and Karliah, proud as she is, is not the best of cases. It was thus that she spent much of her time with her abilities dormant, or her phsyical form remaining out of the public eye for months at a time. The loneliness, while also the constant feeling of not being alone, wore at her and left her an irritable and cynical shell of who she had once been. She needed protection, as well as company. What better way to help her with these needs than joining a hive gang?

Her time fighting in the underhives was short, violent, and exhilarating. She preferred not to use her psychic powers for fear of witnesses, and instead wielded a laspistol to great effect, her aim assisted by subtle vibrations within the broiling deep. She grew somewhat wealthy for a hiver, trading her illicit goods for finer foods and garish copies of centuries out-of-fashion noble garments. But, despite enjoying the chaotic lifestyle, the bitter fighting and constant sense of distrust among the gangers further grew the seed of cynicism within Karliah's heart, and allowed her to grow more powerful at the cost of staining her soul with rageful corruption. She harnessed her spite into shards of pulsating light, harnessing this power to assail her foes without mercy.

It was this power, in fact, that would help raise her station beyond her wildest dreams. The setup was simple: a rival hive gang had uncovered an artifact of great import, a relic from some Vostroyan Great War, and planned to sell it off, most likely to an upper spire collector or some other fool with more money than brains. They were to intercept, steal the artifact for themselves, and either sell it off or use it, if possible. And though they were lesser in number, they had Karliah.

The deal, in fact, was not with some upper spire snob. It was a Rogue Trader: one of little renown, but wealth enough to travel across the stars for a powerful trinket. Despite this, and despite Karliah's protests, the ambush began. Bullets and las-fire cut through either side without any sign of stopping, Karliah's shards piercing skulls and severing limbs all the while. But they were losing, slowly but surely. And Karliah made a choice. Channeling her psychic prowess into a single message, reaching one of the Trader's lackeys: betray them all, and take the artifact without paying. Surprised to find a coherent psyker amongst the rabble, they were taken aback long enough to consider the offer: the Trader did enjoy having interesting characters aboard, and a hive scum psyker willing to betray her own was perfect.

It was the Trader's gang that turned first, scoring easy kills from their flank before the weakened forces knew what was happening. Karliah followed soon after, her shards turning inwards as she hid, ending the lives of those she had drank with mere hours prior. She felt pity, but not remorse.

The battle had become a slaughter, with betrayals on either side, and was soon over. Tentatively, Karliah extended her psychic voice to the crew once more, her covetous desires giving way to the crippling realisation she was at their mercy. But, due to her strange nature, she was taken: as prisoner, originally. Clamped with psychic dampeners, she was brought before the Rogue Trader, and interrogated about her life. They recognised her psychic prowess, as well as her amusingly conflicted sense of self, and took her in: having a half-decent psyker around never went amiss (apart from the times it has gone very amiss, but that is simply a calculated risk), and it was clear from the beginning that the Rogue Trader simply found her amusing to interact with.

For several years, Karliah served, gaining trust and respect among her peers. She lived in lavish Imperius psykana garments, a gold trim cresting nearly everything she owned. Her fellow psykers -some sanctioned, some not- aided her in developing and growing as a channeler of the Warp, and so she grew in both wealth and power during her time as a crewmember. But with time, and consistency, comes routine. And for Karliah, routine brought nothing but boredom and an inflated ego, as she believed herself to be more important than she was. In the heat of a vicious trade negotiation, she defied and disobeyed the Rogue Trader, even going so far as to insult their intelligence with her cruel remarks.

Some would have simply shot her, or maybe forgiven her, but she had long since outlasted the Trader's intrigue, and their patience was worn thin. Karliah was left behind, a lone and unsanctioned psyker abandoned in some hive city within the Moebian Sector. Her notoriety and flashy garb meant it wasn't long before her capture, and despite her protests and pleas, she was taken. Held in custody, she awaited the arrival of the Black Ships to come take her and who knows how many other psykers away to be tortured and maimed in the name of sanctioning.

But that day has not come yet. Karliah was conscripted, along with many others, to fight the Inquisition's war on Tertium. At first indignant, she would soon acquiesce in hopes of one day regaining her freedom: or, as she believes is inevitable, persuade Shipmistress Brahms to take her in as one of her crew. So far, she has been wholly unsuccessful in this endeavour. Her only solace is the Imperius garb she now wears, commissioned from Commodore Hallowette, that grants her some sense of status among the other rejects. A delusion, of course: Karliah will likely die before seeing Tertium's war conclude, still wearing that same gaudy outfit.

-Crucis, the "second-world" of the moebian's domain, a sanctuary world of pilgrimages and a home of many zealot.

-Most of the zealots born on this planet learned to hate the xenos, mutants, heretics and abhumans, even if they fight togheter, but 1 zealot thought that is not a good morality and good decree to reject ogryns with a good will and faith or psykers with good attention.

-This zealot was named Domino, a tall woman with sharp teeth,black hair, red eyes and built like tank who had a soft spot for those gentle giants and tolerated them more then any zealot existing knowing they were this big and powerfull by the help of the Emperor light, she would also tolerate the psykers as she knew their condition werent intentional, but overall she was a tough and sturdy lass with a kind open heart that would help and protect the ones who were victim of rejection and mockery.

-Of course all this got to the ears of many zealots and they started the mockery and insult for what she was doing, but all those mockery ceased quickly as she humiliated everyone in a fair fight that mocked her for what she was thinking or doing with psykers and ogryns, she grew a little sadistic dominance side by humiliating this much people.

-But with all of those unnecessary brawls, her superiors decided to send her on a planet with rough conditions to teach her to manage more her short temper and to reduce her tough confidence, this planet was Mornax.

-Mornax was a mining-world with rough condition but people were hardy and dour, Domino was assigned to be near a very important mine, she quickly learned respect of many ogryns has she took good care and had a good cheer with em, of cours many zealot werent agreeing with her doings but they quickly learn they shoulddnt mess with her as one of them try to fight her and got humiliated hard by Domino, the ogryns were always happy to see her and were always cheerfull and thankfull for her presence and help, but sadly it wouldnt last long...

-One night she got invited by the ogryns of the mine to go on a drinking night, she accepted glady, so she drank and eat with all of her pals with joy and enjoyement but then late at night going back into a barraks, a little blasphemous "accident" happened with a certain ogryn, next morning she got arrested for this blasphemous deed and lack of duty as the planet was attacked earlier.

-Has she get taken aboard the prisonship, most of ogryn of mornax were sad and try to convinced the superior of domino to not execute her, she just turned around and smile with all her teeth "dont worry about me ! it was nice knowing all of you !", aboard the prison ship her superior scoled her for not learning the correct path, Domino replied "its not with a planet with rough condition that i will learn, you should try something else maybe that'll work...", her superior face almost turned red and then .. he got an idea, he told her she was going to be sent into a ship near atoma to be sent on many hard mission to cleance atoma from the chaos that started not long ago, she accepted this offer and was sent onto the Mourning star

-On the mourning star she met many rejects, bounded with some of them but mostly she bounded with the ogryns and psykers, ogryns accepted her rather quickly, has they feasted many time, laughed and got cheered up many times by her, they Happily gave her the name of "Mamagryn", as she were acting like a loving Mother to all of them, even the grumpiest ogryns, on atoma she would fight with vigor and might and when she was coming back she would just get back at cheering everyone with her mighty tolerance.

-Sometimes tolerance has good impact on most people and Domino was a living proof and will carry on for the greater good in the future.
