Got one more post-mission photo done from another few games! There's some other stuff I've been trying to draw, but those projects take time. Also wanted to doodle just a little bit of psychic powers in use for the sake of variety and to see how I could make them look.
In the upper left you have Maja by @midnight moat sharing a high five and possibly getting a lil'bit distracted with that pesky cryomancy. In the upper right you get Salazar by @strong zenith who thankfully couldn't feel that hand anyway. In the lower left my zealot Tome who is having a good time but is tragically unaware of where his flamer is pointing (He's usually more responsible than this I swear) and in the lower right Runt by @restive crown who is instead very much aware of the weapon pointing a bit too close to her and is preparing just a teeny tiny shield, just to be safe.
Always fun sharing a late evening with you running about in Tertium folks, thanks for the good times!

He might need to amputate that arm though. Maja looks absolutely adorable in your artstyle, she has a bit of genuine happiness here, and I love how you drew her hairstyle! I really love Tome too, he genuinely looks like hes having a good time. His goatee and hairstyle are so cool, too. I love that despite probably not meaning to, he is still making Runt uncomfortable. Classic zealot behaivour. I really do love how you draw my little Runt They always have such a tired expression even if theyre smiling, and that means the world to me! I love the purple hue with the blackened shield, it kind of reminds me of something otherworldly, like void in space. This whole photo looks so wonderful, it makes me wonder what these missions were actually like in character for everyone and their interactions with eachother. I'm really glad you liked the hue on the shield, it would've been very difficult for me to make it entirely dark and still noticeable, and a dark purple is usually my go-to to make shadowy powers pop, so I'm very happy it worked well!

Really really like the redesign, simple and slick and extremely believable, and both the colored lenses and bright green weapons do lots to add that bit of character, it also fits Kass's phisique and look perfectly!

The guy is mostly frustration-driven by now, but is also trying to slowly redeem himself from a pretty brutal path (he was an Only War character, so you know he has an emotional baggage as big as Texas).
The biggest example for that is when he renounced his Heavy Flamer, leaving it to his former assistant Tome, and got his Power Sword to pair with his Chainsword, so he would have an option to make cleaner and midly more merciful cuts.

Alright, this was a whole lot of work. It's also only part 1, since I have some more pages to do, but I figured I could post it in 2 halves, so here's part 1 of "Meeting of Spheres".
To make a long story short, I wanted to draw the first meeting between Preach and Kalshan, which in turn is the first time Preach learned about the T'au and the whole Greater Good deal. Figured it would be fun to set it in Darktide, during my boy's service as part of Grendyl's Warband.
Also, you can see it for yourself, but there's a lot of exposition in this one. That's what happens when you have to explain to some guy educated on a prison world what the T'au Empire, the Farsight Enclaves and the Greater Good are in like 2 pages.

Tyvm! Honestly a lot of the fun for me has come from trying to figure out how the hell I'm supposed to make Preach interact with folks from the other side of the Galaxy, but a bit of work with the canonical existence of T'au-exploited wormholes like the Startide Nexus helped with that.

Aah thank you so much! Admittedly the design itself is just her appearance in-game, so most of the work was just understanding how to portray her in my style, but i am quite proud of how I've managed. Heavily inorganic shapes like the executioner mask are usually quite the challenge for me, but I'm making progress.
And also I just wanted an excuse to draw some Khainite aesthetics.

Finally finished the second half of "Meeting of Spheres", the first meeting between the disillusioned Zealot Preach and Fire Warrior Veteran Shas'El Kalshan during their time in the Moebian Domain (you can find the first half here: #darktide-fan-art message).
Since the first half did all of the work in terms of exposition, resulting in a handful of pages that were really full by necessity to fill in Preach on the T'au while keeping the work at a reasonable length, the second half came out much smoother in terms of content and pacing, really happy with the end result.
