So, it's a bit of a rabbit hole. Dual or even triple cults exists, but the chaos gods have karmic opposites, Khorne's being Slaanesh while Nurgle opposes Tzeench (Hate vs joy and stagnation vs change, REALLY shortening stuff so take it all with a pinch of salt). This was mainly tabletop stuff to deny some forms of reinforcements, but it slithered its way into the lore at times.
By my own side? Absolutely, makes sense to me, frankly it's also just a fun idea. You also still get cults like the black legion who do all four, so at least they can coexist for a time if they have a purpose.
Hell, now that I think of it, you could even make it into a character struggle, chaos Kaz becoming a living game of armwrestling between Khorne and Slaanesh to see who finally get'em

After all, you can only sell your soul to one in the very end.

Hey there folks. Finally got some time to finish up the art for AU Gins the Genestealer Magus and Commissar Pyra, starting to post them with the former. They're much simpler characters than Preach the Zealot or my psyker "The Kid", so I had to work a bit more with these.

The Abominable Priest: Ebenezer Gins was once the revered Magus of the Genestealer Cult of the Purple King, trying to bring the truth of the Star Gods and the ascension to blessed biomass to the people of the Moebian Domain. He had become known to the unenlightened as a Primaris Psyker of the Moebian 21st, guiding his Brood Brothers to war while expanding their reach. All that changed when the Moebian 6th returned, bringing the pestilences of Nurgle with them. Most of the cult died out, even the Patriarch who Gins once thought to be invincible. He wasn't.
As the massive form of the Patriarch succumbed to the touch of the Plague God, Gins saw the truth: that the Purple King and the Star Gods were weak, nothing but flesh in comparison to almighty Nurgle. The Patriarch had challenged the rule of the eternal cycle of decay and rebirth, and so the Father was punished and broken by the Grandfather.
To Gins, the rotten corpse of the Patriarch became a shrine to beg Nurgle's forgiveness for not seeing the supremacy of his truth sooner, and with blessed boils and wretched tendrils, the Magus' new patron showed his appreciation.

I just decided to put together the various pictures of "Kill Team Preach", the collection of my Darktide Characters.
It's kind of funny how, since I'm not a big Imperium player and I prefer Xenos, most of them are in one way or the other just criminals, between Preach himself being a T'au sympathizer, Gins being a Genestealer hybrid, The Kid being literally just a weird mutant bandit. Lumen is alright, but he's mostly indifferent to the Imperium, he just cares about farming algae. And then you have Pyra who, having originated as an antagonist for a WIP T'au campaign basically embodies everything that's evil within the Imperium, so even if he's loyal he's a major bastard.
Man, the Mourningstar really is just full of freaks, uh?

Oh shit I never explained how Markus ended up a reject. He socked a Blank in the mouth. An inquisitorial Blank. The kind of Blank that's trained to be a weapon for the inquisition. He forced his way through a Blank being pointed at him and still landed a solid enough punch for the Blank to experience pain.

Iron Will is a hel of a thing.

Flinte became a Zealot because Markus left when she was a kid to join the guard, so she grew up into a zealot. Flinte got arrested for attacking an Inquisitor who was visiting from offworld. She went to preach of the God emperor to him, and she was literally waved off and ignored by him.

She declared him a traitor and tried to kill him.

Dylan (Not his real name) was accused of dereliction of duty because he unintentionally impersonated a commissar and the mistaken identity is why he survived. Only to be later arrested, charged and thrown into prison. Only to then be scooped up by the inquisition and begin a new life as an inquisitorial soldier able to bring direct and immediate consequences to heretics.

Overall, not that much of a change.
