He's powerful enough to have the biggest warband, the size of a proxy-legion and only falling behind the Black Legion and Word Bearers in size

He also has gained the ability to find traitors among his ranks to avoid being back-stabbed by his closest allies

This event is unironically easier than Rumbling Giants. Imagine oops all Crushers, Bulwarks and Reapers but they can drop grenades on death to ping pong melee players and Poxbursters spawn in big waves of 5-15 at a time and can approach from multiple directions at once in funny exploding conga lines. The poxbursters were more deadly than the wall of 20 Crushers and Bulwarks stacked on each other tbh

Finale moments at the end of levels spawning endless Ragers like Carnival arena, Smelter, Tree post poisoning, etc. are all really fun imo for the chaos LOL

I've noticed new players struggling with both this and Rumbling Giants so I agree it's a bit of a problem. It is fun for more experienced players but someone new who doesn't know how to handle Rager swarms will suffer a lot. I ran into an all Vet squad (me included) and 2 of them ragequit before the end of Smelter. The last was an Infiltrate Vet who would disappear when things got wildest. It was extra fun having to play almost solo against everything but definitely not for anyone else in that squad

I had a very smooth Carnival where we just killed everything lightning fast as it spawned but our Smite Psyker was clearly newer and kept dying so I felt bad for him

Infil is a lot more useful for Expeditions tbh but it also has stronger burst potential for damage than Exe Stance. It can pull crazier boss killing. It's just no one I see in matchmaking is using it to stack damage for burst. I see people use it to force objectives like the start of Gloriana or to play ambulance rescuing people who go down. Vet has a lot of crazy damage buffs. Skirmisher, Exploit Weakness, Focus Target/Redirect Fire, Agile Engagement, etc. So it all pairs well with Infiltrate giving 30% damage to your everything. Melee, Ranged, Grenades

I ran a funny anti-boss build with it recently with Kraks and Tinkerer just to do the funny thing of dropping as much krak on a Daemonhost as I can to kill it right as it is waking up LOL

But a lot of crit builds can also pen the armor and do even more damage.

The crusher lacks damage compared to other slow-two handers BUT it can stunlock anything without a healthbar. Trauma and hammerblow if you want to stunlock enemies, otherwise trauma and skullcrusher are pretty good.

Trauma is often overlooked because important detail is left out of hte description. When you knock an enemy down, it'll stun them for a bit when they stand up.

That's normal. Some people double down with skullcrusher and trauma but that's only if you want maximum crowd control. You'll be holding the front line easily but you won't be doing the most damage.

But most people make builds for BIG damage numbers so a crowd controler specailist can really help carry hard.

Crusher does enogh damage and has good attacks for trash clearing. The double barrel is for non-carapace enemies if you choose it. It's not the best vs maulers/crushers but it'll still knock them on their ass and crits can kill them. But it'll take out ragers, mutants, dogs, and enemy shotgunners quite fast with a good supporting build.
