There is one exxception where it becomes the most OP gun in the game. Mortis Trials. If you get the crit buffs and you get the one where each crit adds a 1% to crit rate and the one that crits don't cost ammo. You'll very quickly get unlimited ammo through sheer volume of fire causing the crite rate to surge up.

Lots of fun ways to break the game in mortis, wish it was more popular.
