D&D minis are much lower quality tbh. If money is your primary concern and you wanna explore the painting part of the hobby then by all means it's not a bad idea. But yeah as for Warhammer if you want to actually get enough minis to play the game, firstly I'd recommend starting with Killteam. It's a smaller, more compact and zoomed in ruleset and most if not all Killteams can be used as components in larger armies if you wanna expand later on. Looking around for a second hand Killteam box, buying non-GW branded paints can be a big way to save on costs and see if the hobby/game is to your liking.

Thats why I like rampage tho, I can charge into a horde and start swinging. Duration extends per enemy hit instead of enemy kill so you can get pretty insane uptime if theres enough enemies. Also combine it with an attack speed stimm and its even better

It's not clear cut like they're implying. Hive Scum requires some genuine know how to really shine. They're just as viable as any class for Havoc but you just have to be aware that you won't be able to tank damage like other classes would allow you too.
