While I was on shore patrol I visited the sandbox, found the Dubai Fuddrucker's, and asked for a soft drink and they gave me an "American-size" one which was a 3-liter bottle. Holy fuck.

This did bite me though. I saw a YouTube clip of Soong (the scientist who made Data) calling people 'Nazis', and I wrote a YouTube comment decrying how dumb the dialogue in Star Trek was now (why would they still be calling each other 'Nazi' in the future?) - and then somebody ripped in to me, explaining that Soong's dialogue was actually meant to take place in present day (where people actually do call each other Nazis). So I had been commenting without ever even seeing the show.
