I once played with a Veteran who carried our entire team (we all kept dying except for him). I noticed that basically, he wouldn't rush in to fights, he knew the maps so he would move to safer places to shoot from.
(That's all my knowledge of Veteran, maybe it's smart or maybe not)

Ogryns can control hordes better than zealots cause they have high stagger on most weapons and abilities (rush, taunt) that can knock down or otherwise control even the biggest enemies, but ogryn is very slow and is a big juicy target for ranged enemies.

Zealots doesn't have as much control over the enemies as ogryn, but they can kill things really fast and have much easier time dealing with gunners cause of their speed.

The melee dance involves dodging, blocking, and attacking.
I don't think there's one specific dance, it might depend on the situation and what weapon you're using, but basically: when there are a lot of enemies, keep remembering to dodge, block, and hit - so that you're always moving out of danger, always blocking, and always getting your hits in. That's the dance

Yeah Zealot is a very fast (high movement speed) and nimble character (high attack speed, fast animations) that lets you easily cover a lot of ground, attack enemies where they are hiding, and then disentangle from heretic reinforcements to double back to the rest of the team if needed. Ogryn is much slower and gets stuck in longer animations which makes it more of a gamble to try to do the same thing. Ogryn does have Charge and you are immune to ranged damage and such while charging, but once you've used it and you're deep within heretics it's not as easy to run away if needed lol. Ogryn in my experience has a better time holding ground and letting enemies come to him and defending a chokepoint or something. it's possible to push a charge build with a relatively mobile weaon like the mk4 cleaver to the limit and play Ogryn like Zealot but it's not as easy as doing the same thing on Zealot, requires a bit more experience

the basics are that you use the special and then swing 2 or 3 times with the light attacks. flat sweeps with high dmg. brutal momentum lets you oneshot 4 enemies and damage loads more. but idk if that blessing works in h40

Ah thanks, this does clarify in my mind a bit some of the advantages of zealot and what a zealot can offer a team. (Basically - if there's something that's kind of far away that needs to be dealt with, a zealot can do that and also make it back to the group. That 'far-away' thing could be an enemy that's difficult to shoot or maybe it could also be running in to save a teammate.)

Horde clear activate spam light. You can also do activate light light activate as well up to you since light 6 is a strike down
If there's a crusher or boss or single thing you need to kill
Activate > block > push attack > light > light usually kills it.

You can also quickly block cancel the activation

Why is the highest difficulty called "Auric"? I googled the definition and it basically means "you have an aura around you".

even if you're active, you get demoted a bit with every new campaign (season). gotta grind to get your assignment back and your clearance (highest difficulty you beat) is wiped

but you also lose a havoc rank for every week you are inactive and dont play the mode

I think havoc would have been so much better as a single super high difficulty mode that you need to use the party finder or have a premade team for. get rid of all the ranks, keep havoc 40 difficulty as the standard, sprinkle some grindy penances or whatever on top, and let the community bash their heads against it

Requisition has random weapons of different quality, brunt's armoury lets you select a specific weapon type and roll grey versions of it until you get one with the stats you want, that you can then upgrade to highest tier and power level when you have enough resources.
