You gain experience in a category by using them, but there's also the sacrifice option. This is where you basically scrap weapons of the same type

So you could turn 4 uncommon eviscerators into 1000 eviscerator xp. Roughly speaking

Said XP is also account based afaik so don't worry about changing characters

lol i've been playing FS games for 13 years, they'd have to try hard to disappoint me, we're kind of in a FS golden era because SUPER important things aren't breaking constantly and there aren't a huge amount of skill nodes that literally do nothing

from a longer time fans standpoint they locked in with darktides release. I was earnestly proud of them for their growth... and naw i grew up playing games in the 80s.. bugs are part of gaming and FS makes the best first person melee in gaming tbh
