It is funny, but tbf the supply box with dependancy base keystone alone doesnt get much from it, since iirc most people take that node that brings the box off cooldown when stimm comes back up

you dont spam rampage though, thick hordes unironically infinitely sustain rampage since you dont need to reload knives and the extra attack speed combined with adrenaline frenzy keeps it up

Rampage and adrenaline look super easy to keep up. Desperado for all its crazy features is at least less consistent to keep up for longer periods
except the few times you do need it on low CD because your bastard desperado user killed all the trash around you to sustain your rampage

They really did a good job incorporating the theme into the gameplay. Scum is constantly wanting to get in close and kill to keep its ability going. The only problem is that with everyone currently playing it, you'll be in melee trying to get toughness back while JohnnyScumShorts mag dumps into your back trying to keep desperado going
spam it against dog packs, around downed players when going for a revive, into groups of shotgunners/ragers

It has a toxin mode and a brittleness mode, both of which are useful. There’s also a trait that lets you put more toxin
yeah, what Puri said: a good player will consistently walk up to collision range with the spawn to force it into standing overhead as much as possible (not 100% but more often) and dodge straight backwards
And there’s a thing that gives you giga weak spot damage on toxin stuff

I think stub is good for non despacito builds. Good anti shooter and anti special option if you need it.

with sample collector you can often get your stim back before your crate CD is up, and if you go 1 node cartel special you can spam 7 chem toxin landmines every 15 seconds

My gpu is a AMD RX 5700xt, cpu is AMD Ryzen 3800x, settings aren't really high either, only things that aren't low/disabled is ambient occlusion, light quality, global illumination, all at high
I know this is a bug, because when my gpu is utilized, I get 70+ fps, though performance is clearly worse in this patch

if you interupt your reload animation till your on the last part (racking the bolts) it gets stored pressing F refills the mags but the reload animation is kept so you only have to rack the bolts to keep shooting.

I like it a lot in a right side build, I had great performance on it in aurics. If you stack some chem traits you become pretty unkillable
Hive Scum is great at clearing shooters but I have been feeling the struggle trying to meaningfully contribute to any bossfight
Im leaning towards keeping the cooldown stim, since berserk build seems so heavily weighted towards keeping berserk up as much as possible

i think the beak mode is cool but i personally would use it less due to how unsafe it is on this class due to it locking you in place during it (the saw is similar in a way at times), but luckily the blunt mode has a safer, albeit less effective when used against armor (but sometimes the better option depending on the situation, cant deal damage if youre dead)

Crowbar is the most in your face about its weapon special I've ever seen a weapon in darktide.
It isnt trying to be the mysterious stranger and I love it for that. Very easy, this side for isngle target, this side for horde.

to explain it, you need to maintain a full stack, which is 3 stacks for 90 seconds or if you put a talent in for 4 stacks, then it's 60 seconds.
so all you do is just go to your stimm lab and remove enough passives so the cool down for your stimm is below 90 seconds or 60 if you're using the 4 stack talent and keep reapplying before the full stack depletes

for example
the stim crate consumes your stim to give its effects
the keystone gives you a stack of cooldown reduction for a long time per stack when you use a stim
this makes your crate regen faster
but your crate needs your stim to be good, so your ability cdr isnt the bottleneck your stim is, esp since you can get the crate to instantly regen when a stim is ready via a subnode
and the only way to make your stim come back faster is a blue talent that requires kills
but with this keystone and ability that are supposed to work well together, you cant regen your stim well cuz all the killy power is in the other keystones and abilities
so the result is that you suck at killing things and either have a weak stim that does near nothing often, or a strong stim once in a blue moon
Its situational, if you have only one tree of the stim for a 44s cooldown and the node to shorter CD on kills, its alright for the bonus, but much like the 90s base and a full stim tree, the timing is kinda tight
theres no effect for when my stacks r about to go down so i keep forgoring about them as i stab the hordes and stuff lmao
i still will never know why they didnt go with stim cdr for chem dep
it would play into the unique mechanics of the class and allow for people to have fun with the stim

The way round the timing issue is to only take one tree in the stim section and stick with the 3 stack base, gives you about 30s of leway
