I sell my drugs and pick up weight efficient ammo. But mostly you dont need caps if you know what quests to do for your build.

For instance the best stealth gun in the game is tied to the railroad quest and lots of power armour is tied to quests.

Plus more legendary enemies spawn which means more legendary drops so you can score some really good gear with luck.

Also certian food dishes are fairly efficient to sell if you cook.

For anyone who is struggling with fusion cores, prestons first quest he gives you paths you through a small military junkyard that has cores and you pass by power armour with a core in it abd a raider base easy to take out that scores you another core. The you path to the grocery store and do that dungeon for a core, kill the fatman wielding raider for another core, and then do rhe big raider base for another core.

Thats like so many for an hour or two of play

I didn't really like the phys/magic armor system, but given how the game revovled around inflicting 9 different debuffs and turning the floor different colors of fire you had to have some kind of mechanic to protect from that

I just rely on random drops for drugs and meds, and since stims are slow food becomes okay to heal between fights.

And i make sure to maximize my adhesive pick ups since i fjnd thats what usually stops me from doing all the mods, not money.

Stealth is prolly the strongest playstyle. But the best perks is the one that makes scoped rifles have a chance to knock down enemies.

If it was only sniper rifles it would be fine, but you can put a scope on any rifle and basically perma stun a deathclaw or those big ass mutants.

Not sure if it works on the lobster queens but I wouldn't be surprised if mirelurk queens were also fucked
