Am I going to see a character wearing vanilla Cosmetics wielding a sword and killing enemies 2 m away because they're actually a ratling wielding a spear on the modder side? That would suck tbh. Just give me the ratling and the spear in the vanilla game.

Scratch that that's not what I want, I would like to have a Power sword and shield on the Zealot. So I can actually play a Crusader Priest. Give me a blessing on that sword and shield that allows me to Sprint and hold block at the same time but consumes more stamina when I run into enemies, but it will also push them. Although it only pushes enemies with small armor hit Mass because I don't want to make the active ability for Ogren irrelevant... OK yeah I have given this a lot of thought.

dalo_kraff was working on a concept for it, but it was too difficult to do with nothing but duct tape and reverse engineering
there's source code, there is a modest modding kit but otherwise he had to figure it all out on his own

we scaled the idea back and tried to make Pusfume into an NPC you could talk to, it works half the time lol

1. make sure he is not outright good - Shelk is, at best, chaotic neutral
2. make sure that there is absolutely no chance for him to go back to his old way of life - Shelk literally refused an order given by a superior and then tried to plan an insurgency
3. he is too valuable an asset to kill or allow to be killed
4. he is not working with the U5, he is working for them, hence his being a prisoner/tortured by Saltzpyre
5. his reason for working with the U5 is highly unlikely, if not completely impossible to attain, meaning he is effectively stuck with them forever

actually one more rule I completely forgot: Shelk himself is not that important in the grand scheme of thing. during the End Times, many important things will happen - the U5 holding back a dead Skaven clan and Norscan Raider clan is relatively small fish compared to everything else that'll happen
