shovel is my only favorable pick in that regard (gorgeous animation work) and all it has is one rending blessing
I experimented with it and tbh it does make some difference but I need to first land 5 headshots to apply rending (hitting the body doesn't), then maintain the heavy attack combo without fail to maintaining my stacks

It's a bug with the latest hotfix. That gives unlimited cleave (not cleave damage) on a crit.

Crit on chain weapons are pretty unreliable even with Shred so it’s unfortunately not that good.
That may change though when the October update comes.

With specifically the Chainsword it can utilize the crit ult stuff w/ Shred/Devastating Strike (DClaw uses the same thing). Use it on Zealot and take the talent that provides CDR on crit. Just spam it. They also have Bloodthirsty which gives +100% crit chance for 5 seconds iirc, which can be utilized on the Chainsword for it's low rev TTK and the Eviscerator due to the rev cleaving. Not super good comparatively, but it can be reliable if built properly.

You’d want to use Devastate when fighting hoards but that’s the worst time to use the rev as it makes you vulnerable.
It’s not impossible but it’s difficult and unrewarding.

i have some problems with dat build tbh. headtaker on hammer is imo pretty inferior to slaughterer and the instances where it isn't often take advantage of a DoT, like the kant shotty, which will let you have max stacks on engagement. cavalcade is a fair bit worse than blaze away and ranged weak spot is one of the weakest perks in the game, and competes with cavalcade cause of how bonus damage is calculated
the curios are more subjective but i wouldn't be running grim resist even if i was running a lot of grims

Slaughterer only becomes stronger once you have killed enemies and can maintain the stacks. But if you play Mahlstrom, where specials turn into monstrosities, the stack accumulates and you deal more damage with each hit. You are right about the ranged weapon (unfortunately, I don't have that perk), but it is sufficient for me, and I only use it for specials or to quickly mow down hordes nearby. But thank you for the tips.

Hey lad, I use no pogram to make such smooth GIF since it's impossible to make a GIF that smooth with each frame. I am uploading my raw recorded gameplay videos that are within 200 MB size and then upload them to Imgur website, after upload is completed there will be a button top right corner that says "Copy Link". Then you post the link in any server in Discord which then Discord makes the link into embeded GIF via MP4 file.
And the softwares I use to record my gameplay videos are either ShadowPlay that are built within Nvidia GeForce Experience that you get delivered by installing Nvidia driver for your Nvidia GPU or I use Xbox Game Bar that also has recording feature for games that also gets delivered by Windows 10/11 system.
