i only recently started the other cycle
i find it very helpful on bosses
since it feels like half the time i am out of range for one reason or another
and this allows me to stay a little more mobile
even in vt2 it took an eternity for moveset guides to come out
its just not fun to make or explain for every weapon and ultimately its something you can intuit well or you cant
you can be told that push > heavy > light repeat is good horde clear and that light light heavy is good single target but actually being great with the weapon involves knowing how to switch between both of these hypothetical patterns at any given time
Also, most people wouldn't care for complexity.
I can do that part, but spending a ton of time workshopping to find combos is not enjoyable when other people know them

And that too most folks just want heavies to be single target and lights to be horde, maybe with a bit of variance
I kinda just need like a template or a shove in the right direction and I can learn pretty quickly

TIL Psykinetic's Aura doesn't work how I thought
with PA at 100% uptime, a cooldown has 0.5 seconds of variance depending on when PA ticks
so Shriek technically has a cooldown as low as 8.36 seconds, or as high as 8.87 seconds, even with PA at 100% uptime

The cooldown analysis mod was a lot easier to build with the peril tracker as a basis as opposed to magicking it into being from nothing.
I am not sure what other niche data analysis mods are wanted/not yet available, but I'll ponder this

I am rethinking my curios for my rejects.
Reading Psyker's base stats on Kuli steam guide, the class only has base 1 stamina and a regen delay of 0.5 s. This leads me into thinking a stamina curio would benefit psyker greatly.
Would i still want a stamina curio in builds with Warp Ghost?
I do triple toughness but Iām running flame vent 
It is not necessary. I personally still run one stamina curio with any kind of psyker build though
So pyskers just don't use shoves or push attacks enough to warrant the curio slot?
0.5s stamina regen delay is already the lowest in the game, and especially with the +1 node and +2 from Warp Ghost, psyker should basically never run out of stamina
A +3 stamina curio is fine to use if you like it, but shouldn't be necessary
I think you can probably spam push attacks forever or dodge-slide forever without ever running truly out of stamina due to the super low regen delay

Yeah I simply use the curio because I have a penchant for meleeing a bit more than the usual psyker + I like being caught up with randoms that run headfirst into certain death
a stamina curio isn't necessary for either of these on psyker it's just a comfort pick for me

I've found expeditions are best with prebuilt teams. Being able to coordinate fucking off from a finished PoI does wonders for preventing how much ramping aggression you gotta deal with. Much more than Havocs at least

This is what I prefer to do. Start out with the team split in two pairs, then blob up preferably by the time we're halfway through the expedition as a whole
the best way to do expeditions is to aggro everything on the map with complete disregard for anything else

yeah i used mk8 forever but with armor being so prevalent now i use mk 6. I don't really miss the horde clear with the hidden heavy sweep in the light chain

i've also found, knowing and having block cancel in memory will hold you even in 500 ping
knowing where your sword is in the combo even if you cant see it actually go out
because it DOES still go out, but its very delayed, so you're kinda time travelling 
like, "i know this was l3 so i can h3 or push and do a sweep to push the trash to the side a bit for the next attack to hit"
feels VERY tactical on high ping
and, if you realise something weird is happening that you didnt expect, theres a decent chance you're already blocking, which, if sudden crusher overhead appears, you can pushattack it to stagger it out of the attack
i know this i used it exclusively for many hours. just cause i said i switched to mk6 because i found it personally better for armor packs doesn't mean that mk8 can't deal with armor....

Map fully cleared, dudes wasting 5 minutes doing god knows what instead of going to the gate

Didn't really have many issues doing the campaign, but expeditions got me losing it
expeditions requires u to do objectives fast and route well and that's impossible for people hardstuck in lower diffs
Half the time I join a lobby and there is 5 minutes remaining, half the POIs not cleared yet, and it's zone 1
tbh i'd just focus on normal game mode if i were just starting out
all the other modes are just extra fluff
real game starts when u hit 30 u can make actual builds and push diffs
People in this game don't have the ability to split attention. Note that one of the most popular mods to play with is a visual indicator for specials and elites. I'm assuming people have issues with identifying threats via audio and pinging. Outside of 1 bug in the game that mod really shouldnt be needed
i just think the average person gets overloaded, then stuck
because they are sitting in one spot usually just killing instead of moving

If you continue using Smite after scrier gaze ran out at 100% peril, can you continue holding it for few seconds or do you immediately blow up if scrier stops ?
I saw a havoc run on youtube and the guy continued using smite while 100% with scrier gaze not even active and only 3 second in cooldown
But for only few seconds before quelling it at 90% and spamming scrier gaze once again
Because i play at 140+ ping and sometimes my game doesnt let me change weapons or dodge or move away from fire, and even if i spam quell, i may be forced in an animation where i explode at 100% Peril

Scrier's Gaze has an upgrade that stops you from blowing up at 100 peril for a few seconds after the regular duration ends

i know game tells you how long the gaze lasts and ends when you use it ingame mission but that perk i never seen pop up
Yes. Scrier's Gaze ends when you hit 100 peril. With the upgrade its buffs will continue until the duration of the upgrade runs out. It's on your buff bar, and will have the icon for the skill along with the number of stacks up to 30. When the buff runs out that is when casting at 100 peril will become fatal again. The skill itself will go on Cooldown during the duration of this upgrade making it easy to loop.
Might have to use your peripherals when playing in a live game, but it should be one of the few orange buffs on your bar.

As far as i know, warp resistance should be low for greatsword for psyker
You can look at the pin guide in this channel it will help you so much.
Usually warp resistance is the dump stats but some build like LMB EK staff use other stats as the dump one. So really it depends on your build.
About investing personally I didn't invested too much into a build until I was 100% sure I enjoyed it since I have limited resources. I have a lot of build on my psyker with weapon at around 300 power and dump stat at 60-65% but only the 2 that I enjoyed the most I maxed to 500 and made sure my dump stat is at 60.
@ripe obsidian Here's the peril tracking results with my meleeker build. Ran dclaw and Zarona revolver with brain burst. By Crack of Bone makes a noticeable difference, but not as much as I expected - I thought combat peril average would be closer to 30%.
This is also the only build I run Just A Dream on and don't have the Warp Unbound subnode.

inferno shriek does hold up, so does rending trauma with scriers, etc
BB on speed dial lets you quickly execute the ranged stuff/specials, rending trauma lets you shove away crusher blobs, oscurus with Bcob lets you convert high peril to massive toughness gen whenever youāre stuck in a bad spot and wall does wall things as always
They hold up assuming someone else can handle the stuff they canāt. Which is usually fine but sometimes isnāt
basically i've found anything that doesnt go too far to pull unwanted aggro is good, otherwise anything goes. shriek is kinda overkill but on inferno, you only use it as an "oh shit" button anyway
and, well, fair
but the only thing inferno shriek struggles with is technically monstrosities, and you can just, avoid all of them
also, just grab the nukes soon as you can 
Thats why I prioritized being able to melee and bb em down. Itās also just fun killing monstrosities š
they work with the damage buffs, so you can deal severe damage with them

blazing trauma is a good middleground if you end up wanting to try another build after oddballs

The more normal builds have better synergy and are easier to play

Iāve linked an expedition specific loot gremlin build I saw someone using to speed run sites solo to great effect
So I think theyāve sorta succeeded. Honestly if they want to take it to the next level more shooters and fewer carapace walls would help
more anti-stealth enemies might also be interesting
Itād also help to take a page out of the KCD2 playbook and have baddies in night missions hanging around near fires
