Started playing zealot again. Now once again I firmly disagree psyker is the fastest class. Zealot as a baseline has the most running speed. Psyker outpaces him using specific nodes but that’s irrelevant if it’s build reliant

Personally, I would boost its strong points by taking Crit Chance so that it has faster Soulblaze stacking vs. everything.

Each mark is good but has a different swing pattern. Mark 8 is easier to learn for crowd control. Mark 6 does it also but it’s more vertical. Inverse relationship on handling specials. Both kill ragers and maulers fairly easily. Takes practice to do crushers, reapers and bulwarks

You don't do full charges. Nexus increases crit chance witch synergises with talents and crits apply 2 SB stacks instead of 1. Blaze away is even more important than nexus.

I have a silly crit fire greatsword sword build that uses shout instead of scriers, still gets 46% crit chance and is just the most unga bunga dive build I've ever made cause it puts you permanently in empathic as long as you have some poor scrub to tear apart

I could run up to havoc 30 easily and do storm survivor on arbites but that feels like cheesing it

It's general staff play for the most part. You can charge or quell while sliding. This keeps you mobile and casting when you stop sliding or dodging. You can slide to not get hit by ranged. Shriek spam (at +85% peril you apply 6 SB stacks that go on top of existing SB stacks); shriek can also be used to stagger enemies or undog a player through a wall. The push scales with peril. With the exception of inferno, charging longer makes the secondary attack do more damage. LMB on projectiles have a lot of suppression while most of inferno's suppression is on RMB. Inferno's LMB has more stagger.

Each staff has it quirks. Like VB's RMB struggling on stairs and aiming like grenade launcher or not fully charging inferno's RMB.

General rec is 201 hp and x1 sniper resist. That let's you tank a sniper shot and multiple bursters. How you get there is up to you.
