Special attack builds up perils fast and counts as warp attack, you swipe a horde with special attack and buff your regular attack, and vice versa.

For warp battery, don't choose the the last warp siphon node called "warp battery". Any build that uses the warp siphon keystone will work as long as you don't use your ability and you choose maps with as few airlocks and elevators as possible. Enclaven baross I think the one to try for.

Not claiming it's god tier or anything but it's fun to play and effective. If you have constructive criticism on that build please share. It's not a havoc build it's a for fun auric build

Quietude is a top tier talent, it’s great

Now, let's be fair: to some degree, defensive nodes will help you survive. There's a reason people take soulstealer and quietude, the two best general nodes solely dedicated to defense. However, the issue is the game is designed around not taking hits in the first place. Over-investing in defense puts you at risk of not having enough damage to chew through the horde when a trapper comes along and you have no space to dodge, and similar scenarios.

Warp Splitting is a straight upgrade to ethereal shards, but you can use both. Most of the time it's not useful, though.

But if you're doing something weird like banking on assail being all your horde clear, I could see taking it as a comfort pick

That build is meleeker/assailker/gunker. All 3 are pretty much the same thing.

Assail is normally for toughness regen in that build

You use it to trigger soulstealer/quietude

The gun is normally for big/elite targets like bosses, which Vraks excels at. It would be better if we had a good anti-carapace/anti-boss weapon for the slot, but we don't. Best option is Vraks for bosses, or 🅱️istol for carapace.

Assail and melee should handle almost everything else.

Another gun option is revolver or recon.

and some have liked the speed of autoshredder, because that side of the tree is the 'go fast' side with 3 speed nodes
