For what it's worth, I do feel like it takes a long time to decay far enough to get out of "hard" missions. Like 5-10 weeks to get down to 30-35. That's months of not playing.
It's worse though when you're stuck advancing 1 by 1

If you're asking about souldrinker the answer is it has to be a killing blow with soulblaze except for about 10% of the time when it inexplicably doesnt. Video proof below.

-its auto aim can net you headshots with ease so you can get true aim crit for stuff like revolver or bolter for quick swap special elimination
-it has good stagger vs some enemies you could struggle, and its horde clear while not amazing can patch up a build that lacks alternative thanks to warp splitting
-the auto aim is surprisingly good vs snipers and bomers, these last because visibility with their bombs can make killing them tricky, so they are really good vs them

Learn how to melee, dodge, block, psyker dies in a few hits even from the weakest things, so it's important you can survive in melee against hordes

Don't worry about psykinetics till you get yourself up. Most staff builds just don't work as well till you have enough lvls to grab certain nodes.

Remove the +1 Assail add one and mind in motion and get the melee attack speed and warp splitting on the right side
After that take the cooldown reduction aura and work your way to the left side combat ability with venting shriek add on

I can make one with Assail and EK, but usually you won't play those two together, you can though and it's fun

your level is not high enough for a full build. So using a full build guide right now might give you a more miserable grind.

You could work towards something like this I guess, just so you have a guideline. Or the middle keystone instead of the right one, but I wouldn't play that with assail
So it's just for leveling purposes
Better if you just ask for a build again once you are in the ealry 20s and can start to use staves and don't need to rely on assail as much
