Wooting did 2 things to revolutionize the gaming scene. Could have been three but they had morals (at first) and let Razer beat them.

1. Small actuation points. You know how it takes a certain distance for the key to register you pressing it down? That is the actuation point. With their switches it made it instant. So no travel time at all before your action happens.

2. Rapid Trigger. So, after you press down a key, and it registers what you want, you normally have to release that key all the way to the top. And then press it again, so on and so forth. Rapid trigger allows you to not have to release it fully. You can just lightly release it, just barely, and press down again. This was the feature that really made Wooting famous.

3. SOCD/Snap Tap

This actually goes to Razer although Wooting were advertising an inferior version for a bit.
You know strafing? ADADAD? And how it can be hard to be precise without really practicing a lot? Valuable for CS or any game that has instant stopping of characters (Overwatch). If I'm reading the monster maelstorm code right, it only starts the 90-180 cooldown between monster spawns if there are currently >=2 monsters. So there is no cooldown if you kill a monster before another spawns

so you would have to wait for two monsters before the event then, maybe get one or both of them low health first

or kill until you get 2 BoNs
