gorgonum heavy stubber actually kills specials and elites pretty well (2~3 shots regardless of head/bodyshot) which is respectable for ogryn's guns

it just has like almost 2s draw-to-fire time which is unacceptably slow for reactionary shooting

the gorgonum single barrel stubber feels weird to use. the draw to fire time is a big issue for something you want to be reactionary for things like gunners, bombers, trappers, but also its got insane range before damage dropoff, on a weapon that doesnt have a scope, in a game that doesnt have that many instances where youd need to do long range sniping.

the obvious way is to go to whatever that fuckin' special ammo mission is, and there's multiple tiny bridges in multiple sections of the map

and just use venting shriek at moderate peril on one of those

i'll try those, just been trying to do it for a while & coming back after a break a week ago to get back into it and get that penance done bc i have bad luck or just been trying it wrong. only way i have been trying it is that vigil-station map and i get cucked at the end lol

not sure if this has been fixed since i got my penance, but in some locations where enemies climb over fences i found that you can shriek into the fence and if you hit enemies while they're "queuing up" in noclip land they'll fall off the map and die, which also counts for cliffhanger. it's how i got mine on a map with no ledges
