I usually cleaned up any enemy that was hitting their shield while they took aggro. I remember when I was new an Ogryn blocked gunfire from 4 gunners and allowed me to charge at them and get rid of them.

You get the same effect doing that as JUST tapping R to quell cancel. I think flurry is doing way more work for you along with regular animation caneling than the weapon swap

So.......trauma staff has no bonuses to crit chance. if you want to run something like blaze trauma you want to take everything crit you can without going over into scriers (it's not worth it). With the crit chance node, crit perk, and nexus you get, like he said above, ~40%. But when it does crit it lights everything up in the STAGGER radius, which is massive so that 40% crit chance goes a very long Way

Scriers is not worth it on fire trauma because you cap out at 6 stacks of fire so fire shout is a much bigger DPS boost

I spent hours testing it when scriers came out and again when they add stuff to scriers. You reach that 6 faster and your crit damage hits harder but that 12 stacks of fire on the whole room still wins out over that, specifically for fire trauma
