Purgatus, with the exception of bosses and crushers, kinda wants to be out all the time. You really want the melee you use with it to deal with bosses and crushers (dueling sword).

Even further, illisi with soulblaze is kinda memey. Illisi in general has issues, and using up one of 2 blessings just for soulblaze that doesn't even affect targets you kill in the triggering hit is... bad. I would not recommend.

You can still use them together, but you'll definitely be fighting to make them work together.

There's also no real cohesion so just using their generic meta builds is fine, like uncanny/slaughterer for Illisi.
