I really only ever eat a shield bump when I’ve misplayed and am getting gang bumped by a group of shields in a corner. If you maintain consistent distance, use secondary tools and work around them to keep em turning they don’t ever start the shield boop.

If it’s your primary weapon build it for damage, if you don’t have another source of horde clear deffo build for damage, if it’s a sidearm you’re gonna pull out only rarely to kill muties or something you should build it more defensively

Most psykers try to stay at high peril. I've found that having too much quell speed will lower my total peril faster than I want it to.
