I was thinking back on this comment, peril gen > toughness is less of a % of toughness gained back, but when you hit scrier's gaze and killing things it reduces your peril until you hit 100%. I'm not really sure what you mean. If you're quelling and generating peril during scriers through any method you gain twice as much toughness from quietude.

Even if you don't quell any at all, that toughness during scriers is more likely to go to waste than toughness after scriers because when you're in scriers you're shooting or using a staff and proccing mettle or soulstealer.

The same goes for assail use. While you're using assail, you're proccing soulstealer, and then when you stop to quell you proc quietude.

That's why quietude is mathematically AND contextually superior. There's never a reason to pick warp expenditure if you have the choice.

Tried taking crystalline will. I don't like that it makes you explode faster. I mean the "I'M GOING TO EXPLODE" time is much shorter.

So if your using shriek, you have to be faster about using it or else you get correpted.

Crytaline will also lets you corrupt yourself in the meat grinder.

I had to get like 30 to get a DS on zealot. Still not as bad as before the patch.

Also, I took this build for fire trauma and it felt nice. Not as trauma sweaty as a WC build, but it felt good.
