They have a different set of spells and are a combat class that uses a bow and two melee weapons

But they still have spells
i should have some muscle memory from assail
Other than real meta builds you can run any class and any loadout
it'll help that I have my blitz key on [X] instead of [G], probably
Psyker is basically grabbing the very loose concept of "can cast magic"
but if you have to do g, 2 for staff and 2, g for bb
Some subclass will probably get you covered

While scrier's gaze is not exactly the greatest ability ever, you have some little synergies that help with it

One of them is warp rider, formerly warp unleashed
I'd remove kinetic flayer because it's not a particularly interesting upgrade
kinetic flayer suffers from the same problem as that stupid fucking 10% chance to throw a second grenade talent on vet
and just slap wrack & ruin back into the game
Warp rider is basically a must for all builds
it's stupid and just shouldnt really exist
its not an interesting upgrade because its functionally worthless atm
u cant build around it or depend on it
but the idea of proccing bb when you are not doing bb
If you're not using force weapons, SG is one of two ways you can access warp rider's damage bonus
is a good idea
it's literally like "i have a point and no other option that does anything"
okayge i has a blazing trauma loadout that's going to be stashed 
Ergo you can use a dueling sword and a revolver and still benefit from warp rider
warp rider gives +10% damage at 0% peril so it's not as bad
But this is why I like BB, you can just 'grab' someone and with 90% of enemies guarenteed instant kill you just need to wait the two or three seconds to splat

Tested out breakpoints on my 25% flak/carapace surge staff
6 warp charges, 5 perfect timing stacks (already did 0 perfect timing stacks last time):
4: Reaper (1 crit), Crusher, Bulwark, Mutant
3: Reaper (2crits), Mutant (2 crits), Bulwark (1 crit inconsistant), Maniac Rager, Mauler, Crusher (1 crit)
2: Mauler (1 crit), Maniac Rager (1 crit), Dog, Flak Rager, Flamethrowers, Yellow Gunner
1: Dog(1 crit), Shotgunners, Black Gunner, Trapper, Yellow Gunner (1crit), Yellow gunner (inconsistant for some reason? Sometimes left with 7 or so hp), sniper, bomber, flamethrowers (1 crit)
I don't think going 25% maniacs would let me one shot a maniac rager, but it might lower the amount of crits needed on mutie for 3 shots by 1. But it might let you instant kill the flamers though!
Unyielding it'd probably lower the needed crits by one for reaper/bulwark.

other enemies it was fairly consistant
also I feel no flak would make it harder to kill maulers for sure, probably needing one more hit or one more crit

you want to start with purg and finish with vent etc
blazing spirit wildfire and purg will all cap then talents can add on top of those stacks

if you have a heavy melee but like a pistol or running with blitz it might be faster
for psyker, 0 stamina means that you run with 50% of your sprint speed bonus
idk I'm not that much of a speed chad, I just always use melee to run
it always felt faster
alternating between sprint sliding and dodging can keep you going for a reallylong time
yeah I tend to just slide because it conserves stam
i'm fairly sure you move faster with a laspistol out than with force-sword, although not actually tested it, maybe just in my head
i tend to run with ranged weapons out on non psyker classes
for reference, all classes should have a walking speed of 4; Psyker has a sprint speed of 5, and the +sprint speed given by weapons stacks on top of that
So, with +0.40 sprint speed, you'd run at 4 + 1 + 0.4 = 5.40 m/s instead, and being at 0% stamina means that you'd sprint at 4 + (1 + 0.4)/2 = 4.70 m/s instead (I'm pretty sure; I've forgotten the specifics) Just checked and everything here should be correct
because blocking , pushing or slashing is instant, but you have to actually chamber your weapon when switching to a gun

Never run it on 0 decimals if you plan to use it
Always 1 or 2 until they allow you to change the rounding function
I run the bar mod that also has decimals, its neato
If you have 0 decimals, it will only show nice whole numbers like 11 or 34 instead of 11.3 or 33.7.
However, the rounding it uses is the default rounding, so 0.5-0.9 goes up and 0.1-0.4 goes down.
This is very dangerous with safe cast thresholds. If you are safe to cast at 97% and true peril shows 97%, in reality you can be anywhere from 96.5% to 97.49% so you have no way of knowing if you are going to blow up or not.
couldnt find the old true peril anymore but this one has it too so w/e
