From my testing, there don't seem to be block arcs at all, except for blocking Ranged attacks. Blocking an attack from any direction, at least, uses the same amount of Peril when using Kinetic Deflection. I haven't payed enough attention to stamina cost for blocking, though. so I could very well be wrong.

A good player with a Surge staff surely. But sometimes you get games like my last, where the other Psyker with Surge spent probably 66% of the run dead, and even when he was alive, he wasn't really making a difference.

During hordes is when things are the most likely to go wrong, tbh. I don't need the 4 Maulers and 2 Bulwarks CC'd when they are the only things around. I need them CC'd when they are in the middle of a horde and blocked by commons. Or I need something that can clear the commons out of the way so someone with kill pressure can deal with them.

trauma at feet pushes everyone 360, it's different use cases

so you would use surge for gunmen behind cover, but in a horde trauma will create space

I said to the team I can tank it and asked if everyone are ready.

Instead of replying with "yes" the veteran started blasting...

So if you gotta fight it just start tanking it and explain later. You can anyways tank it all day so they can get ready while you are negotiating with her.
