If you can get used to the more complex moveset and not having the things you want when you want (ie, the simplicity of horde clear lights and single target heavies) the moveset gives you some really interesting tools that branch out to deal with various situations better than the mk10 can.

Few random examples... the single target heavy chain staggers crushers, while the mk10 deals with them slower, and doesn't really stagger them. The lights on the mk2 are much faster, which can spam down a captain's shield better, while breaking cap shields on mk10 feels like a slog. The horde clear feels honestly kinda similar, but personally I've started to enjoy having heavies as horde clear now that I've played some more, so mk10 needs to l,l, h, h, h... while mk2 can push attack directly into heavies so the stagger is immediate, which pushes back the hordes

Being low ammo would make you nervous, which would make your meth aura and the voices in your head more intense (there could be blessings and talents to turn these into adrenaline-like benefits), and if it ever actually hit 0 you would crash out in spectacular fashion
