Well... not really since generally the higher the difficulty you go, the better the average player becomes(In general, you can still get absolutely abysmal players, but, the chance is a little bit lower the higher you go)

That's why I was so surprised when the 3 randos I got in the run before this last one went around a daemonhost and didn't try to aggro it.

Not wrong. I’ve been finding it much more enjoyable at this point. The first time I tried playing auric a few months back I was just being carried. This time around I’m actually ready for it. I was actually amazed how little deaths happened. As opposed to damnation, which seems to have 2-4 deaths a mission on average!

I try to do "chill" heresy runs and sometimes... it ends up not being chill at all and can be quite stressful since the randos not only failed the iq test but all died at least 1-4 times... which means I have to end up dealing with all of the enemies and monsters and specials that are aggroed/chasing after me by myself... which is annoying, but, heresy is easy enough where I can do that fairly easily since I take perfect loadouts each time >.>'

What's weird is the average player skill level seems like it is higher in malice and heresy, which I find really strange... I've gotten at least somewhat competent randos most of the time in those difficulties... It makes me think either the bad people quit or people just got better... Still, going into low int heresy and getting 3 competent rando is kinda scary <.<'

I’ve also noticed this. I’ve been playing Heresy runs at say with a new zealot yesterday. He’s level 24 now, but I was in Heresy matches at about 15-20. The players have been phenomenal.

But as soon as I jump into damnation, it’s a cluster fuck of epic proportions.

Well... that depends on if you're after a chastise or chorus build

or a stealth build(for soloing havoc)

And if you want the safety net of thy wrath be swift for the hit stun immunity

and what melee/ranged(There are a lot of things to consider)

What weapons are you wanting to use? A lot of weapons, like the revolver and combat axe fall off hard in havoc due to breakpoints not being able to be reached for horde clear and elites/specials

Some weapons, like the dueling sword, become more or less a single target weapon(since the light attacks can't cleave past 1 horde enemy due to the increased hitmass)

Usually the tree layout is the same as the meta builds for zealot, so from there you need to decide if you want chorus(cuz randos want you to run it and you cave in) or chastise for a group havoc build

For a non-crit weapon it would end up being like this for the top right

This is a fully layed out non-crit type of build with chorus, for something like the thammer that uses heavies to horde clear(twbs(thy wrath be swift) is very useful for those weapons since you don't get hit stunned out of your heavies then)

Granted for the thammer you would want chastise, but, that was just an example

for a crit build you'd use something like this with chastise for getting the most out of invocation of death and enduring faith. And you have 3 extra talent points for this example you can put elsewhere

For chorus you only have 2 extra, due to using 1 point to go above chorus

Um the difference between 60% and 80% collateral reaches no meaningful stagger breakpoints that I am aware of on the bolt pistol. Meanwhile the sprint speed on the bolt pistol is extremely useful with the relic blade, so no... the dump stat is collateral on the bolt pistol. It's actually the same for the boltgun, on zealot. <.<

The only thing you dump mobility for on the boltgun is for 1 less shot on a bulwark which is 4 wasted shots instead of 5 with 80% collateral. On Veteran, however, you do dump mobility since they can open a bulwark in 2 shots.

Which another thing is that if the bulwark is in the stagger immune state not even 15 boltgun shots will open it...

sigh just need 36 more scab melee kills to get the perfect end roll bolter that melk is offering my 4th zealot... Also he's level 30 now. :3
