Well like, there are ways to get somewhat close with simple polish stuff but it's also an indie game with a lot of weapons so I don't expect it.
Some of the weapons outright feel weird but others are pretty cool.
Like there's a 2h greatsword that does sweeps and it's slow slow. It takes like 1.5 seconds to complete a swing slow. There isn't any animation stuff that makes it feel great to swing normally (though if you swing into a crowd and get the timestop impact hits in and/or a crit it's nutty).

I suppose it can be different for you but whenever I run a Shotgun the reloading is super passive, so Sainted would just be up for 2-3 rounds before it gets reset, which is a super marginal time save.
If you're constantly just keeping it maintained it'll never be needed.
