it has good cleave on its own, rampage makes it so bruisers don't bog you down
momentum makes you nearly invulnerable. Its not quite ogryn levels of regen, but its damn close.

Its pretty much mostly the same fundamental approaches and concepts
You just might not have some of the same quality of life aspects you get through a zealot. But it's still something doable. Especially with the selection of guns you get as a veteran. You got options to make it your own thing.
