Yeah, it's bad on console, only reason I even managed to do it like that is with button switching on the Xbox itself. None of the layouts in the game are great, imo. For how important dodging and tagging are the buttons for them are really inconveniently places, i.e. having to take your fingers off the sticks

I have been workshopping a heavysword and braced autogun build with inexorable judgement and stripped down. One thing that felt like it was rough with a crit build was getting caught out with gunners. Slide dodging gets you out of most situations, but it can be clunky and slow depending on the area.
But a few sprint efficiencies and stripped down and you just... dont take damage. Ever. the extra mobility and then having a "lol ranged attacks dont hit me hrr drr" ability just feels crazy. It synergizes well with inexorable as well because you will run into most situations with 20 stacks. Just sprint up to the line of gunners with your autogun, fury and kill everything. Or do hit and run if the situation turns nasty and more shit spawns. The number of times I have been able to fall back to cover by just pulling out my gun and... running away is nuts. Its just a lot faster that slide dodging back to the same spot, and you will take less damage from those moments when you are standing up during a slide or accidentally colliding into some weird architecture.
Part of it too is I have stopped running until death entirely. I just avoid that side of the talent tree and it lets me grab a lot of other fun stuff. The stripped down bullshit will proc your dodges while you are immune, so a lot of dodge buffs like good balance and second wind are always proccing, along with your inexorable judgement side thing, good poise I think it is.

Crit build needs stuff to hit to get its ult back, and while thats not an issue 99% of the time it would, on occasion, happen.
inexorable judgement synergizes really well with agri braced too just on a dps level. the extra attack speed and damage is nice

I'm going full yolo DPS, so i'm taking until death and the left side to proceed, stripped down is nice tho, but im doing it the old way with slides or just directly charging in.
Yesterday i made a Columnus 2 braced and it's a pretty good one too, weaker against elites mixed with trash(because agri8 got much better penetration), however, larger ammo pool allows better focus, less reload times and in general you can kill more elites per clip compared to agri8.

The breakpoints of every enemy are varied and there are different types of stagger, stuff like chain weapons would break. That's not including stagger resistance shenanigans

Not too long ago I was playing with some friends newer to the game and for fun I brought a Chaxe + Flamer w/ throwing knives. I was the last alive after some unfortunate barrel and map knowledge led to three deaths. Huge wall of Bulwarks were like, next door along with snipers and a BoN was v cool sitting there for 3 minutes to pick out bulwarks.
It was whatever that mission is with the elevator holdout and the large bridge infront of it, the room prior to the bridge is where it was so I could just go around in circles but it was annoying

You don't cleave through multiple targets with activated light attacks on Chainaxe, or Chainsword, it only happens on Mk XV, because it's the only weapon that will cleave through when activated.
