Chainsword is pretty bad at single target damage. You can put the bleed perk on it, but then it starts having horde issues. It’s undertuned

well, first of all, picking a melee weapon for monstrosities doesn't make much sense. Chainsword gets gimped by getting locked, and all monstrosities will throw you around that close, and you cant dodge during the lock.

I run Bolt Pistol, P Sword and Frags. Also VoC. Using Middle keystone as recommended but that being said, B Pistol could work with Specialist as well I think (due to smaller mag size)

For some reason this game doesn't allow player to swap weapon in some frame of many animations, this mod is my attempt at addressing it.
Once you hit the swap key, this mod will make sure to swap weapon for you as soon as it ready to be swap as it possibly can. So in another word there will be delayed as long as whatever that swap-preventing animation last. So no more spamming weapon swap key.

other things that are useful:
- true level is an okay proxy for seeing roughly how experienced a player is + you get to see number go up
- peril gauge's peril gauge is much nicer than vanilla's
- direct to hadron lets you access craft menu from inventory, another thing that the game should have by default
- show insignias shows insignias in mission, meaningless but mildly nice?
- prefer auric lets you set the default mission screen as aurics
- for the emperor gives you more things you can tag and reply (yes/no/etc) on your comms shout out thingy
- custom hud lets you move your hud elements around
