The higher the difficulty the worse it gets. Shredder outperforms it for crowd control and AoE damage.
The more bosses the are the less impactful is getting rid of 2 or so of them.

The main reason why I would retain cleave at this point is because even if I can't damage all of them, at least hitting them will prevent them from attacking me. Will it still be able to do that without the 200% cleave?
You take savage sweep to stagger hordes through cleave (no damage)
Perfect strike makes your critical attacksâ cleave hit significantly more mass (still no damage) therefore staggering them (if they are to be staggered in the first place)

watching auric quickplayers fail at basic concepts like object permanence and target priority is always a little entertaining
vent purge/lights out always brings out the worst of people
it's been nonstop zealots running off and dying almost immediately for me today
just watched a zealot with an autopistol toss a stun at my downed body, push a sniper on his way to running toward me
and also auric maelstrom teams that are just.. astonishingly unwilling to do things about the problem at hand
and get sniped twice by the same sniper he pushed trying to stick the res
two runaway zealots in the same mission for one of them, right at the end of silo cluster
I had to all but solo a Chaos Spawn while they were distracted by like, 2 flamers and a mutant
and then before we were done looting
one of them rushed into the final objective and died INSTANTLY to like 20 gunners
and then the other rushed in to save them and also died instantly
the most concerning thing was me having top boss damage by a landslide, as a psyker with a rashad and like no melee investment or scrier's..

infernus loses in dps against the other 2 blessings

But you have Recip
No need to double up
because burn stacks cap at 12 for infernus
Then ditch it for helbore
As long as you maintain stacks Recip, 5% crit perk and 5% crit talent node with 5% Vet base crit will be more than enough

If you really like Infernus use Dum Dum + Infernus. Dum Dum + Deathspitter is higher damage on most targets but Infernus DoT can be fun for killing fleeing targets and saving ammo

Reciprocity is this talent. It's easy to stack and maintain as long as you're in the thick of a fight
It can proc on both melee and ranged attacks. But it only procs on the first shot of a Gunner/Reaper volley iirc. It can proc on all three shots by the standard non-elite shooters for 3 stacks just for dodging through their shots
8 seconds is a very forgiving duration for fights so it's usually just a free 25% crit chance
The crit chance boosts both your melee and ranged crit chance
Reciprocity favours a very aggressive frontline style. If you tend to hang back behind squadmates the Headhunter blessing will be more benefit. But on Aurics being able to hang back behind squadmates without being threatened is a very rare thing so Reciprocity is just way more effective there
honestly it just looks like a skill that you pick up, forget it's there, play normally, and get better stats

rather than actively have to play around it or suffer
which is what i kinda fear about "on dodge" blessings, like riposte or precognition

I do like the Infantry Lasgun (though I'm still not sure which variant), but I also want to try the Helbores
basically: Cadia or Krieg?
Dueling sword, Knife, Chainaxe, Power sword - basically anything than can deal with armor
Helbores are charge up and deal a lot of damage
if you're still having trouble, smoke grenades count. enemies only need to be hit by the grenade explosion to count, not even damaged or killed. smokes are a lot easier than kraks and shredders
same strat though, need a decent stretch of space with a high enough ceiling and a horde or a few static enemies

idk, for what purpose you want this gun
im using it for bulwark infernus application and free kills, for boss damage and antielite(ranged)
it sucks vs mutants and mid vs ragers if there's no maniac perk, but it's still enough
It can deal with crushers with onslaught, but im half-half between melee and ranged on them
i mean just comparing dps, the ciag outputs over 10k on ogryn heads no problem, recon does sub 4k
takes ages to bore through carapace so i don't think it's even worth running onslaught on it
well it has insane mag/ammo efficiency + free ammo on crit, i can shoot for much longer without reloading
not really, but killing every crusher with it is a pain without full ranged build, but in situation where you need - you do it
70% -80% damage/ammo/stability stats.
-Infernus + headhunter for marks VIc/XII
-Headhunter + Dum Dum for mark XIV
Aim for weakspot and you will kill everything and a lot of ammo economy with "shock trooper" talent.

you can also spray and pray with little downside if you can half control it.
Like every other weapons it has it flaws, just play with the weapons you get comfortable.
but tbh if you wanna spray and pray the braced auto is better, and theres other better for picking heads
but it lets you just mow down people when needed
but i will say, it's really fun when you just hold the trigger down and hose dudes
im a fan of the recon las cause i love either mag dumping stuff on weakspots or just massively nuking all the elites/specials with infernus.

How important is ammo stat on plasmagun?
my 2 cents is that recon is the premier anti-shooter gun, plenty of ammo and accuracy lets you delete shooters and gunners pretty quickly and ammo efficiently. The downside is however the DPS struggles against harder targets
pretty important as ammo determines how much ammo you gain back from all ammo sources
also of course bigger mag = bigger mag dumps
its also a pain to build :c

ye olde Kan12 had too slow of a firerate, IV needed a fullauto mod and Ia was just "good" in an arsenal filled with a lot of "great"
yeah they are pretty alright. A good kan12 user is still great if you have the required aim, killing 2 specials a sec is a pretty high ceiling

theyre still generally a bit more ammo effecient than everything else, but the talent that gives free shots on crit works well enough to keep the helbores and recons above other weapons too, not to mention ammo shouldnt be an issue with a decent team

Brown one = slowest, Green = middle, blue = fastest.
All the guns follow that color scheme.
