Hunter's Resolve is nice but not necessary to earn the penance

You can kinda use whatever weapons you're most comfortable with tbh

But since no Kraks I'd recommend having at least one of your weapons be something you'd be confident using against a Crusher

the build I recommended doesn't use Desperado so talents might need to be shifted for Knife

The main thing is just to be ready whenever you see a Crusher and not need to rely on team mates to kill it

While Mk III is imo more suited for horde clear weapon

it still does decent single target damage, but Mk VI achieves that goal easier I feel

Some people don't like Marksman's Focus because juggling headshots for stacks to meet breakpoints frustrates people in firefights. Some people dislike Focus Target because it would require them consistently pinging targets to get benefit and they don't like the extra effort of another button per kill. Weapon Specialist is like the most free keystone to reward you for doing what you would normally do anyway

If for some reason none of the keystones interest you, you are probably running a build with a meme like SYMMETRICAL

There's not really a legitimate reason to go no keystone unless you are lazy with pinging or have no idea what the keystones do
