I read that active ranged damage bonuses affect bleed damage. Does that mean that agile engagement talent boosts bleeds and kills applied by the knife (for example)?
idk about damage scaling but uncanny strikes applies to shredders so you can bleed through carapace

yeah rending is so good with bleed. Just wondering if you can "cheat" more bleed damage with agile engagement since that gives ranged damage (that allegedly boosts bleeds) while just spamming with the knife.

i felt like i just didnt really have as many grenades as i though
and even when i used them id have been better just meleeing

I'd recommend headhunter over deathspitter.
The damage increase is pretty marginal compared to the longer sustained fire and better ammo economy with headhunter. Nevermind that you won't always be able to find a free poxwalker or groaner kill within close range before then trying to swap back to the actual threat you were trying to shoot at.

Lemme put it this way. If you do 1k damage and 1 .1k on a crit, and you have 10 percent crit damage increase. The 10 percent is calculated from the extra 100 damage, not the whole 1100

Deadshot is iffy, shock trooper is only good if you have issues managing ammo (helbores have good ammo to kill ratios to begin with), you don't need both travel nodes to marksman's focus (also wouldn't take it with a helbore, focus target is probably better).

Unironically, marksman's focus is harder with marksman weapons than it is with automatics.

You can one-shot a Crusher using Exe Stance + Helbore Mk III but there are some requirements
I just took out determinded and stamina boost to get for the emperor and I can now instakill crushers

It's not hard to reach 2HKO with the Helbore Mk III but it's very fun to be able to 1HKO with it
The main reason I wanted to rock with high crit and shock trooper tho was because of opening salvo
Opening salvo sucks

Personally, I don't think it's worth going for the 1tap build, because getting off 2 shots isn't hard, but more power to you if you want to do that.

It just makes it a lot more fun to use when the AI director decides to spawn 8 Crushers in front of you and another 8 Crushers behind you
if you need 2 shots per Crusher you're going to need 32 shots
if you need 1 shot per Crusher you only need 16
I mean with crit I can one hit reapers without my abilty so surely I'd wanna keep the chance high?

The only time I huck kraks at things that I haven't engaged yet are when it's bulwarks.

Doing roughly 2400 damage to a crusher without abilties due to the high crit rate
nearly halfs at my worst point but it takes like 20 full charge shots before I'm low on the clip and my crit rate is low
my only weakness is bulwalks but If I tweak my build for kraks it's easy

If your gun reliably instakills Crushers and one taps Bulwark heads then you're probably using Kraks a lot less during a match and can choose just one
but for shredders demostockpile is usually enough
I mean that's the thing I kinda don't need more orgyn dps when I already drop reapers and bulwalks with ease then popping abilty now makes crushers an instakill
I used to run a really goofy build for Recon Mk VId pre-Secrets of the Machine God for Crusher killing and would forgo grenade regen because I found I was using grenades pretty exclusively for rescuing team mates and very occasionally to stagger a swarm of Ragers to set them up for an easier laser vomit spray down

generally you should always try and pick up demo stockpile, grenade regen is arguably essential in all vet builds

and considering these screenshots are not critical hits and the helbore has surgical as a blessing, i'd also test to see how easily you can hit 1hko breakpoints using crits

oh if you just want competency then one shotting crushers is way way overkill
- if you use the mk2 your ttk on them at weight of fire 5 with exec stance is already so low it doesn't really matter if u 1 shot when u can drilll 4 fully charged shots into them in a little less than 2 secs
You can kill Crushers in 2 shots with the Helbore Mk II for the 5 sec FtE is up during Exe Stance

With Carapace perk, 80/80 Damage/Stopping Power, Marksman, Close Quarters Kill Zone, For the Emperor, Focus Target, Bring It Down, Exe Stance and a Combat Stim you can 1HKO Crushers using the Helbore Mk II iirc
But it might be possible without a combat stim using Marksman's Focus instead
Stims are unreliable imo cause sometimes you get them sometimes you don't if anything they're for unexpected bosses for me

Depends on the weapon
if ur only using melee for crushers then flak is better to take, carapace is rare/u can get around it otherwise

its more intuitive to headshot everything so it took a while for me to find out as well haha
so I'm guessing its better to not go for headshots on maulers

The first time I did it, it was the full mission, not the skip, on damnation, and my team was myself as the homeless man with the knife (zealout), a very pissed off Cadian (psword plasma vet), and two ogryns that were completely oblivious to the idea of higher order thinking.

I was hopeful we would get a new monstrosity that was essentially a reskin of the twins but was permanent and made more balanced
But just having her again is a shame especially since it’s temporary
And it also means the next “super special story mission” is probably going to be us fighting her again.

I’m a whale I spend copious amounts of money on skins even I won’t use them but they have to look good
I have maybe got 7-10ish sets for my zealot and I haven’t bought one in probably 3 months because it’s endless reskins or miss the flavour completely
I’ve also noticed they’re going all over the place with colour schemes meaning it’s really hard to mix and match stuff
If I was to purchase the current set I would struggle a lot to make it work and I put so much time and money into making sets that work that aren’t just 3 of the same pack

I don't think there are many references to imperial guardsmen uniform that isn't military complex standard.
My ogryn looks are either some sort of bulky bulgryn, some sort of alien marines vibe or a British WW1 commander and I love them all
But with vet I really struggle
I got the rogue trader stuff hoping one day I could make it work but the chest is a fucking nightmare to match with other stuff
Also for some reason veteran cosmetics almost always have 1/more of:
Clipping
Incorrect muscle rendering
Weapon FOV related texture glitches

U cannot use Cadian vox pack on Kasrkin armor without it clipping into the armor
I just get disappointed the only “interesting” stuff we get for Vet is very clearly not Vet themed
The one with least amount of clipping is Moebian 6th but because they didn’t bother to release helmet + mask combo, Moebian 6th set just looks incomplete
If they release helm + mask combo for Moebian 6th I’d actually use that a lot
