onslaught is not mandatory. it only makes shooting crushers an option and only really works with a handful of automatics (columnus iag and recon VId mainly)

I'd swap Duck and Dive to Close Quarters Kill Zone, swap Born Leader to For the Emperor, remove all ranged enemy highlight and put it on Demo Team for a little grenade regen. Squad highlight feels unnecessary too unless vent purge/lights out modifier. You could get Marksman instead with that point for an even sillier Exe Stance damage boost combining all the buffs at once. Longshot was nerfed after the change to Close Damage so it's not really as nice as it sounds on the tool tip. You can forgo it for Confirmed Kill or Out for Blood for better toughness regen. No keystone is also harsh but the only one you can feasibly reach is Focus Target and idk if it is worth trading out Shock Trooper, Superiority Complex, Demo Team or Marksman for that. Pretty similar to what I run for funny Crusher melting memes with the Recon Mk VId but I've been doing more Weapon Specialist instead with that Recon variant lately

You could achieve a 1HKO on Crushers with it during Exe Stance + buffs as long as CitA is active with 10+ MF stacks

It sorta kicks hard so you have to be patient with shots or it just throws the shot into the abyss

It needed Deadly Accurate, Carapace and a crit too though

But it's one of the few breakpoints that Boltpistol does that Boltgun can't

I find breakpoints, especially on fast swinging melee weapons, to be of very low importance in the grand scheme of building out weapons.
Unless you're going for something like a Crusher 1-shot on a Thammer or Pickaxe or something, and even then I don't really recommend it as it's mostly a gimmick that makes the weapon suffer in performance the other 99% of the time.

Breakpoints are more important for, IMO, slow-firing ranged weapons with limited ammunition where the difference between 1 or 2 shotting something can effectively double(or halve) your ammo economy and TTK on important things like Disablers or Elites.

First shot crit string guaranteed only. But it also gives a noticeable attack speed buff which makes the already insanely fast Recon Mk VId extra funny especially when running Rending Strikes/Onslaught

It is the fastest way in the game to get to max Onslaught stacks for 40% Brittleness on target and it makes it a surprisingly effective anti-Crusher and anti-Mauler weapon

Most weapons will avoid aiming head height on Maulers to avoid touching the Carapace but with Shock Trooper, Headhunter, Onslaught and Rending Strikes you can comfortably laser a Mauler face with very little change to TTK when using a Recon Mk VId

Carapace kinda ceases to be an issue

Also I hope they add more full body Carapace enemies soon

Even just something funny like a Scab Lieutenant that passively buffs movement speed and damage of nearby traitor Guard would be fun for a Carapace chest piece and helmet making bodyshots and headshots not worth except for weapons that can harm Carapace effectively

Vet has issues with trivializing the game, and a lot of people don't like that. For example, voc simply existing, plasma being plasma, weapon specialist being cracked... the list goes on.

Other than that, it's not hard to be good at vet, but it's also not hard to be mind numbingly bad at vet, either.

I've gotten into many lobbies where I have to strictly ration my own ammo because there's a ciag vet mag dumping trash at chest level.

And somehow that ape is managing to snag all the ammo pickups and is actively ignoring the voicelines of other characters complaining about not having ammo.

Tldr, good vets make the game too easy, bad vets make the game a nightmare.

So lets say a weapon has a 1.5x crit/weakspot multiplier(aka finesse).

so 100 dmg becomes 150 on crit/weakspot,
