You can use charged shot to 1HKO Crushers or take off bigger chunks of HP of bosses per shot but spamming uncharged shots at bosses is probably a net total damage gain, higher DPS and more ammo efficient too. Uncharged shots usually take 2-3 shots to kill per Crusher with my Plasma. On 3 ammo consumed per uncharged shot and 9 ammo consumed per charged shot you are either breaking even or doing worse than someone spamming shots for ammo efficiency. TTK is very similar too unless you go 80% charge rate Volatile funny fast charged build and even then spamming 3 shots into a Crusher is only slightly slower LOL

Lacerate is very much a trap blessing due to how knives work. It's one of the few blessings that is actively detrimental to your performance, due to knives having roughly 2.7x the damage on weakspot hits.
