Beware that both maulers & crushers have a fast sweeping attack which knife can’t stagger them out of
You need to dodge out of their range (which is a bit further than knife’s attack range)

This means in practice, a lot of the times you don’t have as crazy ttk vs crushers & maulers as in theory

Unless they’re not targeting u, then you can go for a pretty fast 3 hit kill

Flak/Maniac are hard to go wrong with for the standard lasguns. for blessings headhunter is the big one, they really lean nicely into getting good value out of it.

after that either deadly accurate for more damage or ghost for greater damage mitigation depending on your needs/preference.

all three are good solid guns though with the MG Ia probably being the sweet spot

big trick is disciplining yourself to slow down and aim the shots as they'll shoot pretty damn quickly and it's very tempting to spam the trigger ^^
