Not the worst but I typically save my resources for better stat lines when buying/upgrading. Nothing feels worse than upgrading a weapon, getting what you want, and then finding out that you're cuckled out of breakpoints by slightly suboptimal stats

Weakspot damage works in the same scuffed way as crit damage, just fyi. Flat damage perks are generally much better with very few exceptions. You could take flak (if it gets you headshot or even bodyshot breakpoints) or carapace.
