The mk6 powersword has horizontal lights which come out faster than the mk3's charged heavies. It also has a unique push attack into l3 combo that when built properly will reliably 2 shot crushers to the head.

It also has slight movement speed slowdown on energize, which can be cancelled by dodging.

Most people prefer the mk6 for the above.
