Boltgun has been a tricky weapon for me to get breakpoints on with a single build I can get a Crusher killed with; 3 Weakpoint shots with a crit neccessary, and 2 Weakpoint shots with a crit neccessary on Executioner Stance. (Despite the Fact Pinning Fire doesn't work in a vacuum)

With the Plasma on the right build without Executioner I can Two-shot body-shot with charged shots which is immensely easier than delicately hitting a weakpoint with a very-high recoil gun that does't have an increased hit radius.

Should I be settling for 5 shot bodyshots for Boltgun? Does it even matter that much to build specifically for Crusher-Control?

i agree with the part where you compare it to plasma and conclude that it is worse. that was mostly my finding as well. i'm not crazy about boltgun, mostly because I switch weapons like a speed freak and that half second ready time is a real pain, but also because I invested into it and can't find any solid place for it. it's serviceable, but other weapons have crept up pretty far, and what was once the leader of pack now lacks a niche. crushers in particular are trivialized by easy access to 60s regen nades and krak nades, and the rending perk allows autoguns decent dps against them, plus revolvers and various melee weapons

my build for vet allows me to vent with out losing toughness practically

like i take next to no toughness damage while regenerating it if enemies are not too close
