i feel like the main reason why combat axes are so good is that their blessings are so good

Heresy used to be filled w green players trying to get a boost. I went straight to Damnation on the advice of here and it was much easier.
any heresy mission i do these days end with at least one daemonhost being triggered and usually ending the run

The only reason I asked is partaking in a high intensity combat mission with random people you don't speak to... Expect to lose more than you win. That should be expected

i was just doing some testing with shotguns actually
lawbringer got buffed
its called a difficulty tweak
lawbringer and kantrael have the same breakpoints except for three
Revolver, infantry autoguns would be strong low level as they either arent strongly impacted by bps or easyily get over those breakpoints
kantrael will hit the 2 shot bp on ragers more often, lawbringer will hit 3 shot bp on ragers if you're not carefully aiming for the head
tbh revolver isn't worth if if you can't reliably 2 shot crushers/maulers
Idk if itβs known but the vet toughness greater than health bug is back. If I take melee dmg with full toughness it chips my health away

lawbringer hits a 3 shot bp on maulers while kantrael can do it in 2
laspistol is strong on its own

so imo, lawbringer is better

Deimos for example is a broken weapon for a low level psyker
if you are trying to get quick kills
the kantrael is most effective at a distance you should have your melee out
It quickly makes psyker able to do damage even in damnation at like level 6
so, bring a lawbringer
full bore and no respite are extremely solid blessings

but i don't really like those blessings

but yeah, for veteran I am of the belief lawbringer is better than kantrael
it performs similarly or better at range
my gripe is that if you do the special activation and fire too quickly you wont get the horizontal spread
with more ammunition to spare, which is nice
i just load special and then ADS to skip the pump animation

outside of the obvious dragonfire round overpenetrating bulwark shields

If the team rushes ahead it affects spawn points. Best thing to do is hold position n wait for respawn before moving up again

Eh, knife is just all about getting headshots and luck with crits, which isn't hard
but caxe and ps can do the same thing with less work

i tihnk the block animation cancel is only with he mk6, and you don't heavy attack with it, you do the special, spam 3 light attacks to delete hordes and elites, and repeat

I pretty much never use the heavies on the power sword unless I'm hitting a single target, but even then in most cases 3 really fast powered lights will ruin most things
PC4 on a power sword lets you rip through rager hordes unlike any other melee
powering up, sweeping into 4 ragers and killing them in like 2 swings feels great

If your referencing the Hakenkreuz then the flares should turn right not left

ragers usually spawn in like groups of 2-3 so being able to lock them down for free buys some nice breathing room
the zealot crusher treats everything like bowling pins, i know the feeling lolol
crusher was nice when I tried it out but I like the evicerator more, mostly because i like heavy light for horde clear better than light heavy, it flows better for me

I think my problem with that one is more just getting my stamina down that low. If you do get it low you can just dodge dance to keep it form coming back

assail is the best psyker ability since the other two sucks. Easier to just dump all 10 shards for quick DPS burst/horde clear
problem is, its simply too hard to get the right blessings and perk set up on a weapon
Wha? Smite is amazing, stunlocks anything short of monstrosities
For example if u want a specific T4 blessing on a weapon with 11 T4 blessings, your chances of getting that blessing is very small
since u have a chance of getting T3 blessings too
But uh yeah brainburst kinda got left behind compared to assail and smite lol

2 and 7a are dog (dps is too low and ammo issues), 6d is low tier (can get comparably "acceptable" dps but way too much ammo usage for it). They're in big need of an overhaul and got massive undocumented nerfs last patch.

I don't entirely understand alot of the keywords either but as far as I know Finesse basically just means your headshots deal more damage and additional crit damage if it was a crit
So no modifier to actual crit chance? just it's output potential? cause yeah it confuses me that fatshark uses these terms but with no access or reference point of what things actually do.

Finesse power means it only applies to weakpoint damage and critical hit damage, which is what finesse itself modifies.

Finesse can also modify attack speed, but that only applies to melee weapons whereupon you can see the finesse stat bar.

But for guns its just gonna be gooder-er headshots
The weakpoint & crit percentage increases are percentages of the +% of the base weapon
So if the base weapon doesnβt have drastically higher weakpoint/crit dmg compared to normal

One thing I'm noticing is that allies seem to be blocking the recon rifle shots. Seems pretty messed up.
Teammates can block most of your ranged attacks
Use plasma gun to shoot through them and hit whatβs in front of them

yeah majority of all ranged weapons for all classes can hit allies. You will see a color shift of the icon when it hits a ally. Aside from plasma, bolter(?) and certain weapons' with penetration you ally is a bullet sponge. It's why having a Ogryn on your team who is playing range alot but decides to be dead center of the fire area will actually cause alot of problems. Any ogryn bois out there. if you are not a up in there face fighter don't stand right in front of your vet. Vet can't do their job most the time with your giant hitbox in the way lol
remember those heavy strikes, stay light on your feet, and you can answer just about everything in the game without even pulling out your gun

Handcannon is a must on the revolver but 2nd blessing comes down to personal choice if I recall

surgical is quite strong though so don't sleep on it as it can guarantee a crit weak point often.
Yeah Surg is what I run on mine but I have eyed the reload speed on close range kill for my Zealot tbh

it was a odd change and nerf. It wasn't like recons were busted in patch 13. Very ammo efficient(before shock trooper change) and they served their roll decently as hoard clear and common elite/specialist removal and steady suppresion.

also check you melk inventory for blessings.
Dumdum is bugged to apply the damage at much longer ranges than close range currently, so I would 100% keep it. Something about it using the code for a zealot talent with that gradually decreases the damage bonus as you go further down range.

I can understand the swap to Elite but is Unyielding or Carapace that good on Columnus? I should mention this gun is mostly used in my recently made "Kark Gunners/Shooters" build.
Mk5 IAG cranks out very stupid dps and melts big targets surprisingly fast
Unyielding is good extra boss dps
Carapace allows u to kill crushers with something like 1300-1500dps if aimed for headshots
If you're mostly using the chainsword for Horde clear I'd go Flak since that's alot more common in hordes due to Bruisers but nothing wrong with taking Maniac instead to mulch muties with the revved up attack
Which, for a non-monster-killer gun, is very impressive

Decent stat spread, unyielding isn't bad if you can get someone to distract the monsters and land the special. I would definitely swap blessings though. Rampage and Savage Sweep for max horde clear or Rampage and Bloodletter for max monster dps.
Could keep wrath and go Rampage with Wrath actually. Then swap the Specialist melee damage for something like Flak.

Blaze Away and Gets Hot! for blessings. Perks are either Unarmoured/Flak for Gunners/Shotgunners or Carapace Unyielding for Ogryns/Monsters. Could go with Unyielding/Flak as well. Just depends on what you want to point it at really.

Yeah Maniac/Flak is good if you want to use it for Specialists and Elites. Dreg Gunners won't die in one headshot though, and I think Dreg Shotgunners won't die in a single body shot either.
I think a crit will 1-tap them but yeah point taken.

You can partial charge to meet some oneshot breakpoints, not as efficient but gets the job done
Dreg gunners are weird, some models have a mask and others dont but I think they all count as flak?
Fairly certain all dreg gunners have unarmored head even if the model has a mask
I remember having to put unarmored on my old headhunter before all the fancy buffs to meet oneshot breakpoint on dreg gunners

They'll shred you if you don't have toughness or damage reduction
One of the most painful things is running out of toughness and some fuckwad stalker unloads in you chunking your HP heavily
With a good enough roll and Unarmoured/Flak plus Blaze Away and the two 5% ranged damage nodes in the skill tree I believe a Plasma can 1 shot every special and elite with either a bodyshot or headshot except Mutants, Ragers, Maulers, and all the Ogryns. They take either 2 or 3 headshots but because of stagger making them fall over it can be hard to do that.
or when you're sprinting
This info was correct on patch 14 when we had 1 more ranged damage node and might not work with just 2. Crits might be needed or some more enemies might need a headshot. I haven't tested this patch.

I recommend the devils claw any day of the week, it deals with hordes extremely easily and you have a defense mechanism if ragers pop up out of no where in the horde
