You can start looking at any level but you’ll waste lots of resources leveling it up

You get them at ~300 power at level 30 and you get waaaay lower while at lower level

And that’s a lot of resources

Dregs usually have more health and are more numerous. Scabs have armor, and are fewer in number but utilize 'tactics' more often.

Example

Dreg Ragers have maniac health, and more of it. They usually appear in larger numbers.

However Scab ragers have armor (carapace body, flak helmet) making them stronger against weak guns or light attacks, but precise AP weapons take em down easier. (Bolter, revolver, plasma, etc)

Playing with a weapon or sacrificing other weapons to that type, you level it up

level up the weapon mastery by using it in games or by sacrificing weapons of at least green quality (sacrificing weapons of the same family gives 5x more xp than differing families)

just think of skullcrusher like a debuff you apply on hit. the enemy will take extra damage from any hit while they are staggered if they have the debuff

at max rank you only need 2 hits to apply 8 stacks which is the max

ok , for the first ime ever, and only since the update im having an issue that is game breaking trash. Can someone tell me why i suddenly wont be able to consistent turn my camera, attack, use items etc. It literally just stops all inputs except for moving like theyre being cut off mid action or something, yesterday i was using a stim and i couldnt use it but then it woudlnt let me switch back to anything i just got the animation of using it when i left click and it just stays in my hand

Guessing since it's a end game mode where losing can derank you and your teammates FS most likely wanted you to have the power to pick and choose how you want your team comp to be. To host your game just go into Party Finder - Game mode - Havoc - My Havoc Assignment. Quick play won't work due to once again the deranking part of it no body wants to have a team comp that would be impossible to win with now havoc being harder. If they ever get rid of the deranking side of havoc I'm 100% for Quickplay havoc but as it stands now no. To join a lobby doing havoc do the same as listed before just don't list your party can also do so from the havoc terminal.

Hello, I have been using Lossless Scaling in alot of my games, came back to darktide to check out the updates and now Lossless Scaling does not work anymore, been verifying stuff, checking settings etc and its not a fault in Lossless Scaling, it does generate frames but not "the right ones", wondering if a recent update to darktide just stopped third party applications from generating frames, forcing us to use the ones ingame. can anyone else confirm?

I noticed that people like to fight out in the open. is there some tactic I'm missing or is this just a coincidence since we've got a lot more players now than 2 weeks ago?
if it is relevant, I'm on asian servers (thus mostly.. players with chinese names). I'll admit that some are good, but otherwise they kinda just die out in the open.
they will leave my fairly defendable position no matter what I do to encourage otherwise

being in the open, but in coherency with teammates, is mostly good because its easier to help each other, or react to some special enemy

having some terrain around would also be nice, to run around them if needed

using narrow corridors is not always a good idea, you can sometimes not have enough damage to deal with the Darktide™ of crushers and bulwarks

Technical question about power and DOTs, two kinds of interactions are interesting to me. 1) Ogryn with crunch and/or thrust + DOT from bleed (batter talent) Does extra power from those perk and/or blessing works with batter? Or extra power gets removed before bleed is applied? 2) Psyker with purgatus set ups. If my memory serves me right, DOT dmg scales from your power at the time of application, so if I stack some stacks at low power, but gain some more later, do I overwrite old stacks with more powerful ones or they all get empowered is I apply one stack of more powerful one? Does shriek with warp fire talent get any benefit from warp rider? Or peril drops before any fire is applied by ability?
Forgive old talent names memory is not my strongest suite.

Thing is, ping doesn't matter. It's packet loss.

To be fair, ping can, but is more when it's unstable.

When servers are shitting itself, they kinda sometimes drop packets so actions don't count often.

I, on a FnP build, managed to shoot my kickback 4 times in a row without lucky shot because it kept rubberbanding me back to before I shot.

This is assuming the server just doesn't outright die.

but in 99% of situations, chastise will outperform chorus due to chastise giving you better damage and killing opportunities, as opposed to chorus which just pauses the game for you, not even letting you deal any damage
