the general meta for all classes is toughness>HP, wounds are useless if you aren't a martyrdom zealot, a single +3 stamina can be very useful for human sized characters (Push Attack heavy weapons, psykers with Kinetic Deflection, etc)

its the fact that the initial velocity you move at during the start of a dodge is quite fast, and it quickly slows down
by dodging off of a box or other edge, the momentum doesnt slow down because youre no longer touching any floor and so you just propel yourself way further

I am learning to play psyker and a guide on YT says you should be able to sprint and slide while charging secondary attack, however I am in meat grinder and while technically I can do sprint & slide while charging the attack, unless I start the slide before I start charging I am very slow

When I usually played on DLSS & Super Resolution & Low Latency on I got around 250 fps and they never dropped under my 165hz monitor refresh rate - so it felt allways responsive and smooth.

Since a week or so I get really bad fps with DLSS - and tested now:

Rolled back (Display Driver Uninstaller) from the newest nvidia driver to 2 versions before it.
Disabled DLSS & activated FSR 3.0 - this actually works - like usuallly DLSS worked.

Does anyone experienced anything weird like that too ?

but if you are new and playing diff 1-3 the stat wont give noticable effect

also you need to spend the mastery point on your weapon to get better perk/blessing/ upgrade stats

Hey. I keep getting the most horrific lag and stuttering, to the point where my game is totally unplayable sometimes. For example, I'll be moving forward and my character stutters sideways. I'll go to change weapon and it won't change. Often I'll disconnect completely but sometimes I can go through a whole match like this (if I don't just die because I can't respond to being attacked, or stutter off the side of a platform like I did last night). When I do disconnect I get error 2014. Disconnecting and reconnecting WiFi seems to help a bit but not completely.

I've always played the game fine before, nothing has changed about my hardware and it's only been doing this the last few months. Nobody else in game seems to be affected by it. My connection is fine on literally every other game I own (250 meg WiFi to the router according to fast.com).

Anyone got any ideas how to sort this out? Cos it is driving me insane

I tweaked some settings that people were suggesting online like reducing the number of cores and capping frame rate etc. but they haven't worked. I don't see how these would work anyway if it's a connection issue. Trying a re-install to see if that helps.

I have been using it for months, a must have for this game. Normally I'd get around 30 - 45 FPS in game. But I'm using Adaptive Frames mode. Locked it to 120 frames. (My Laptop is 144 Hz). And I get around 110- 120 FPS ever since. (RTX 2050M.) Give it a try, if your monitor's refresh rate is above 120.

it's possible you have packet loss. or a program messing with your internet access, like a firewall or maybe a vpn.

from the symptom you describe it sounds like an internet issue in some way, as the whole like walking sideways and getting weird inputs is a hallmark of disconnecting (usually you just disconnect, though, not stay). maybe you can try updating your wifi device's drivers?

that's an easy one, just pick the aura i got it in 3 mission ish

The loyal protector penance will go by very fast. I think you can complete it in a game or two. Just need the aura. Just take the usual nodes at the top, then the taunt talent and LP aura, then the heavy hitter keystone and bruiser talent node.

Be your best needs you to hit 4 elites with boxes in a row, within the same game. Throw it at something that can take damage like crushers or enemies you know your team aren't looking at. Otherwise you risk them dying and missing. If you're confident, some maelstroms have extra blitzes. IE, more boxes. "Mostly melee" maelstroms also have a higher chance of grenade spawns

this is a dumb way to do it but you can literally just walk up to maulers/crushers and shove it right into their face if you're having trouble aiming it

It's deceptively tricky to hit 4 boxes in a row

All it takes is a teammate to kill something or a mutant to change direction and you have to start again

And you don't always get enough boxes to have two attempts at the challenge in a mission

Silly question but how do you read these numbers. Is one set for light attacks and the next set is for heavy attacks?

it’s the ADMs, armor damage modifiers/multipliers

that’s the possible range on the ADM, with different penetration stats

for example, 0.58 would be the lowest possible modifier against flak, with 0% penetration, and the 1.05 the max, with 100% penetration

(note, 100% of a stat is unreachable by any means except mods in single player matches)

different attacks can have different ADMs however, so that stat is a good guide but not going to tell you the full story,

if you want to see exact armor damage, you can look at the weapon’s combos and click on each attack to see their different damage values depending on crit, weakspot, both, or neither

A weapon can max at 80 and min at 60. You'll see some other weapons at like 77, 74, 71 max but generally the ideal weapon has an 80% max at major stats and 60% is the "dump stat"

So once you get a weapon with the ideal stat distribution you hold on to it and consecrate (color rarity) and empower it (from whatever you have to a max of 500)

It's cheaper to consecrate lower power rating

Best way to get weapons is go to Armoury Exchange - Brunt's Armoury and buy the weapon you want. They start weak but you can empower them to max stats. You can see what stats it'll be when maxed on the right side of the stat % breakdown.

creeping flames is what makes shriek OP

as you'll kill all chaff enemies that it hits as long as you're above about 85% peril
