yes psyker seems to be a bit of a late bloomer but then every class is to a degree

Ogryn tbh only becomes good later on too, it’s just early difficulty is easy as hell
fair, zealots only real strenght seems to be the oneshot potential with the active but youre very squishy for a "dedicated melee"
Sadly I can confirm that early on, psyker just feels bad to play.
Well, it has a poorly thought out, boring "grenade", and an underwhelming active, + a bunch of talents that somehow make me feel like I'd miss out on something despite not really caring for any of them.
Balance-wise, it might be ok, but design-wise...

They all have a place tbh, Ogryns are really great for dealing with elites and hordes late game, endless Damnation they’re a massive assist.

I hate bing a psyker and none of the party looks out for the wizard. sure I can lock the pack of 4 ragers down but if I try to switch to damage they just merc me
zealot's only real strength is something vet can do from far away with minimal risk
Yeah probably a bit of this. Ogryn's role is easier to fill in early on is all I mean, he comes with all the tools he needs. Lots of health, a charge for getting behind the lines and a bunch of stagger weapons for disrupting formations

Yeah I feel like people who think Ogryns aren’t good haven’t played with a good team on Heresy or Damnation or don’t realize what their role is.

zealot seems to be anti elite and bolstering your team during hordes but not to the same degree as a vet with a bolter/plasma or an ogryn with shield
havent played damnation but my group runs endless heresy no issue without an ogryn or zealot, just two psyk two vet
Ogryn is for staggering and controlling and creating space, zealots are more just for killing up close. Ogryns set up the other three classes for easy kills.
heresy is a bad benchmark, i really enjoy my zealot and im mowing through hordes and elites but at damnation i get overwhelmed super quick by massed ranged enemies
You can play without them sure but you can also play without a Psyker or without a vet or zealot and sub in other classes. The point is they’re still super useful.
And also Damnation ups the ante a bunch. Especially endless.

we would be running damnation but our ogryn player swapped off at lvl25 to roll his vet
so we gotta lvl him up

take a revolver, shoot less 😛 *specifically empty your ammo once and go melee only from there

i think there are even more single shot versions that could fill the role but im not a sharpshooter player myself so i dont have access to all of em *but yeah that one is definitely good for the role you want to go for

Was the mechanic for enemies switching to melee adjusted at all in the last patch? Is there an official mention of this anywhere?
in the patchnotes it said they made it "smoother" to bind ranged enemies in melee *as always not specific details with FS but i assume it means they increased the range where they wont shoot

Yeah the last patch was a bit of a difficulty nerf in general. They chilled special spawns on higher difficulties (4+ I think)

This is the first Plasma Gun I'm seeing. It's really just unfortunate that every time I see a new weapon it's damage bar is low. Everything else is great though

i think its only the power matrix one cause it makes sense that you would repair the power grid but i dont think there is any CURRENT variation, but maybe in the future

its an armor piercing weapon that builds up heat which dissipates over time, or you can use a key to vent it faster
So it requires setup using the talent that reduces cooldown for every elite killed by teammates in coherency and also using the cooldown reduction curios
I haven’t done it yet but it is possible, the curios are the issue
I'm pretty sure you can stack the double running duration with a horde kill and get your next charge before 25 seconds
You'll notice there's a timer for each mission when selecting a mission, when the timer runs out, more missions pop up taking it's place.
you can also charge it up by holding right click, and firing with it will build up a huge amount of heat
Has a lot of damage and pen, and you can overcharge it with the braced shot (RMB).
You CAN also blow yourself up if you fire an overcharged shot at 100% heat.
its 70 meters 2 rushes are 50 meters

From what I understand the damage bar adjusts the base damage value by a small % value. I think minimum bar and maximum bar are within 10% of the base damage value of the weapon. So pick for perk.

Honestly, I do not know if I'm feeling the surge staff gameplay. You can only do a couple attacks, it doesn't do great damage, it needs ages to charge, it adds so much %, and for what? To "kinda" stun like 4 or 5 enemies if they're close enough together? In the time I charge the staff to stun them, I could have killed them with a heavy laspistol.
does anyone know more about how the chainsword perk "+crit chance stacks for repeated hits" works? it seems a bit inconsistent even if im smacking the same target in the face over and over in the meatgrinder. is it intended to work off of chain rev?
Im seeing that the Plasma Guns special is releasing heat. I also see blood around my screen as if Im getting hurt. Does venting heat actually hurt you? I cant see it in the Meatgrinder

its also great to one-tap hip fire (2 shot burst) any elites at medium range, 1 tap headshot stuff at long range, burst down any type of ogryn in 3 seconds and clear a (stacked in a line) horde with 3 shots *oh and do crazy suppression in a huge area with a single shot
Can stun specials and elites with it pretty easy, even charging muties. It also stuns and knocks back poxbursters like crazy
To be honest if a Bolter shot whizzed past my head I'd be suppressed too
But then still, why stun enemies, that I could have killed with the same left click and less peril buildup? And stunning specials seems like a bad idea, because I'm supposed to headpop them.
I can't find a situation where I'd use the staff over sword, gun, or headpop.
You haven't played on higher difficulties yet with massive hordes, have you? The lightning is invaluable for buying time
higher diffs make stuns better because enemies arent as easy to just kill
How badly does the Plasma Guns vent hurt you? Or is it just best to switch to your sword after using it to let it cool?
the only thing a bolter is bad at is ammo efficiency, and its crazy recoil which leads to slow fire rate if you need to actually aim

i can do that solo with an eviscerator as long as im only swarmed at 180° and not 360°

Any difficulty.
You need to weaken the mutant first - a good option is to have the psyker use brain burst on it once.
Use the combat axe, hold down LMB to charge a heavy hit BEFORE you push F, charge them and then slap, done
combat axe or devil's claw worked well for that one
shoot it a bit, charge it while also charging a heavy attack when it grabs someone, doesnt even matter which weapon, for me it was already beating up an ally so it doesnt need to currently move, you just need to get your hit off while you yourself are still charging
For the abhor the mutant i needed to charge him while he was charging to complete it
Having killed many mutants with a charge hit, and not having had it pop up, It does feel bugged
it also helps to get your damage buff from low HP
You're getting muddled with the Ogryn one maybe. You don't need to charge while they're charging, you just have to kill them with a hit while charging
I tried a lot of time but only when i killed him while he was also charging at me did it count
you need to get the hit out while youre still moving, only having your 5s buff active doesnt count
If you're REALLY wanting to get it, go practice how many shots will reliably weaken it in the psykhanium. Once you can reliably one shot it on charge, youre good to go, just ask your team to leave a mutant alone
And anyone for the Melee only? Is it actually malice or higher?
i did it on heresy, also flamer doesnt count as shooting
malice but you can use the flamethrower it doesn't count

Levelling. I had a 475 (seems to be the soft cap) show up after hitting 30 and completing no missions since then
at this point going through the pain of missing or going down all the time isnt worth the cosmetic for 100% accuracy and no ammo remaining

probably use a revolver or shotgun for that no-ammo one and it'll be way easier i'd bet; just empty it into the large horde that's at the end of pretty much any mission

Did they make the game harder after the patch? Holy hell, i had never to deplete my flamer twice. Now even on the lowest difficulty we had so much hordes and specialists even without the "more hordes or specialists" condition.

it says to complete a heresy mission with no ammo remaining and 100% acc, of which on vet, special kills give ammo which is super annoying

allright, so with the penance bug that occured due to the server crash. We redid penances on heresy+ and I explicity did it twice with warp battery, had timer clocked for 5 minutes and both times I did not trigger penance... is there any way to solve this?

So the Plasma Gun is pretty awesome, but I still prefer a Lasgun or Bolter over it in my own personal playstyle. Unless Im jsut not using it properly

As it stands I don't think so, I have a similar issue with the first helmet unlock, I beat the repair mission for my 7/7 while server outage happened and now it just reads 7/7 without it being complete and I can't do anything with it. Depending on their fix for this issue it might end up requiring a wipe or maybe a rollback

The game screwed me out of the "Make every shot count" penance. Imagine fighting through hordes with just the power sword and at the very end pulling out a revolver.

yes, but it's minimal with plasma, easy to drop regenned shots into packs
Did you see my suggestion? Once you're at 100% accuracy with an empty clip, go die and ask your party not to res you. Can't regain ammo if you're captured (I would think).

You could also just fire the minimal ammo you regain at the end at the endless hordes on some maps
You can make this penance half as difficult if you die at the very beginning of the map as your ammo count is halved.
So essentially be gone for the rest of the game or at the very end?
It would also have to be very specific maps if you want to just play the rest of the map 3 man...like, assassination maps feel impossible with even 1 death.

I mean it depends on how good your party is. If they can comfortably 3 man the whole mission, then earlier is better, less chance of missing a shot

I definitely personally prefer the Power Sword over the other two, but the other two are still good
No one can really tell you the best at the moment, I'd encourage you to try everything out because community consensus isn't personal preference. The knife is hot trash though, avoid completely. It got a big nerf last patch. Swords are excellent tho

Yeah. This only applies for level 30 though sadly. You need you build crit and bleed and use knife light attacks with the melee crit cooldown reduction perk at level 30

They recently nerfed dodging which made knives usable. Unless you got a bleed gimmick now they're crap.
Knives as a dodge tool isn't viable but it can be used for another meta build

So the Plasma Gun is bae :)
The Braced shot (Overcharge) explodes if it hits a surface and pierces all enemies in a line. It also does massive damage. However, if you fire it while you're at full heat, you WILL explode, which automatically downs you.
The Standard shot fires a decent damage, decent penetration projectile, and it won't kill you if you fire it at 100% heat, in fact, you will actually cycle it down to 80%.
The Special Action vents heat, it takes about 2-3 seconds to go from 100% to ~30% heat.
Cons are low ammunition.

I really wish it didn't do chip damage to your health when venting. That adds up, especially on higher difficulties where you expect to get chip damage through toughness from melee and need as much extra buffer as you can get.

Does warp resistance on the force sword affect spell casting costs when im using my staff or brain burst? I could ask the same question with the staff and brain burst.
I don't think so. My only evidence of this fact is that quelling with BB equipped took about half a second longer than when I had my staff equipped, implying the bonuses to quelling etc only work while you have the item in your hand
the talent doens't seem to work for quelling while moving with BB as well. Im thinking something might be broken there, but I definitely could be wrong.

Full movement on quelling definitely works. I think the staff already gave some movement on quell without the talent, so that might be skewing your perception

Our ogryn makes plays for days, zealot grenade is a life saver, and a good vet does work to both hordes and specials. I feel solid at hordes and specials if im not crowded, the second I have pressure things feel like they fall apart

great wave clear, abillity to pop balls early if need be for a little cc. Lightning just felt super meh until you were dealing with all armoured or elites, then it was god tier

the problem is you cant block or dodge every melee hit when they spawn behind you and dodge keeps getting nerfed, and you can't outrun them ever under any circumstances
they still kinda are if you have that talent that gives you regen when your death-ward triggers
I generally don't have any issue with the chip damage except with grimoires. It gets real painful real quick when I can't heal without an aid station

grimoires only hit a small amount of your health bar tbf (just under 1/3 or so iirc?); the rest of the corruption is healable

the enemies still spawn off map, they just have ways of getting into the map like dropping from the ceiling or walking through doors
in vermintide spawns were almost always off screen or around a corner or something. Now they can pop in literally 2 ft away from you right after youclear the area and make sure everything is dead

Probably the little retractable bridge that leads to the exit plane on the ammunition loading mission. You can have your team wait on the other side so theres no risk to the mission if you go down. Have a zealot throw a stun grenade and then move off the bridge so you're facing them on a diagonal

The problem with plasma is the huge reload time and self dmg for less DPS/Range and practically everything compared to bolter.

Chain axe has significantly less CC than its other chain counterparts, but makes up for it in raw special destroying potential. Frankly, you're better off with an Evi in more situations, since your primary job would normally be dealing with hordes. Any Vet with a bolter or power sword can handle anything bigger than a mauler.
If it has the same moveset as the axe, I do fine killing/controlling hordes (got use that push stab). I'll give it a whirl once I unlock it, hope its good!

Oh yeah no idea on that one sorry. I would assume getting into a situation with an endless horde that gets funneled into a small area is the way to go. The little bridge that leads to the exit plane on the ammo loading mission is a good option

After testing, Piercing shots seem to be unaffected by the Sniper perk, which only affects the first enemy hit.
The enemies will literally never stop coming and if you stack up with your party to block and hold the enemies there, you should get a healthy amount. Once you've got enough throw a grenade, pop your thing and go ham.
Do ranged weapons work? If so a flamer is probably your best option due to the innate pen @timber steppe

If you're using a force sword, they reduced the range of the push. Might be whats doing it
Disruption was available on day 1 but removed because of crashes.
Problem is you need to hit 0 health but not have any corruption as you wont heal to full, also you cant be hit while the health is regening, I've pulled it off but even with a good flamer +60 enemy's stacked only managed 40% of the damage required.
The Mission Types are:
- Espionage (Upload disinformation to a cogitator)
- Strike (Kill Daemons and get a facility running again)
- Disruption (Not currently available)
- Repair (Cooling Rods Mission)
- Assassination (Kill a boss, usually a Traitor Captain)
- Raid (Steal Ammunition)
- Investigation (Collect Samples)

Yes. You almost have to be level 30, though. The extra distance, plus CD on special kill makes it easy on Heresy.

Its Rapid Fire S6 AP1 or S7 if you want to risk Gets Hot. Or whatever current year rules equivalent is. This means it works fine against infantry but is intended for heavy infantry and light vehicle work

Some weapons get perks that shouldn't be there. On the single shot shotgun for Ogryn, it has a chance of getting the consecutive shots perk which is worthless.

Pretty much. Any gunners and shotgunners count toward the CD, so get your team to focus them.

Fun fact; if you need to walk away from the game and don't want it to 'inactivity' kick you, you can go to the Meatgrinder and apparently that area doesn't register inactivity.

You are, assuming you've played every Mission today, probably missing Disruption and Espionage.
Disruption was removed because something in the mission was causing a disproportionate amount of crashes. Espionage was pulled, but I don't yet know why.

So what are people thinking Hadron's shop is going to be? Crafting? Or maybe other things, like Implants? I... kinda hope we get Implants. Like, limit of one, and it takes the spot of a Curio, but is generally more powerful/immediate.
Also the fact that weapons are on a rotation in the shop is super annoying. Like, I feel like a lot of stuff in this game just feels significantly grindier compared to Vermintide.

nope, its the same green sword I tested out for the first time yesterday on them. Was hitting ~300 per heavy swing with malice threat. Only 170 today, 240 to the head. still does over 300 on the mauler carapace head

Crushers still suffer the damage bonus from getting hit in the face.
Also, Crushers have Carapace Armor, whereas most other enemy types have Flak.

I would assume that you should be wearing higher tiered gear, and trying to get Militarum and Master Crafted gear, since they generally have a higher overall GS.

melee bypasses toughness. I don't think 100% of it slips through, but a bit does
Melee always does 1 damage regardless of your toughness stat. If it pierced your toughness, you take the difference in damage.
the jump here is damage. If your melee weapon can't oneshot poxwalkers, go down a difficulty until you get a better melee weapon.
ehh I dunno about that. The force sword cant one shot poxwalkers and its arguably the best melee weapon for psykers

@clear sun if you mean the inquistor rosette, its a weapon accessory. Go into your weapon appearance and there's a second tab, you can equip it there

I just got my first chain axe and thunderhammer. In the first games using them against the chainsword im just not seeing the reason to switch. The hammer feels like a wet noodle. And the chain axe melts elites, but just cant do anything into hordes
The average level of your party influences the difficulty of your mission.

Tfw you one shot a reaper for Nothing but the Abyss with a thunder hammer, get 80 hp. Run into a horde with a tac axe, get 110 hp. Think you have to cleave your way to 200 hp.
One reason I use the force blade even with a staff: Allows me to intersperse a quick emergence vent while still having block.

The ranking means points rolled on the weapon (the 'bars'), but it should not anymore reflect a "power level" like in VT.
Trains also cost ranking, and traits come with 5 levels. So high level traits weaken the other stats on the weapon.

Ive absolutely dealt more damage with lower power level weapons than higher. Easily testible in meatgrinder. A lot of it can depend on what perks you roll as well

yeah but i was talking about the heavys. by the time you bring out a evis heavy, you might kill 1 cleave another to half meanwhile with chainaxe i've already killed 5-6 with light spam. evis wins on stagger and control but that can be compensated with block push and dodges.

No, weakpoint hits and crits are two different things. Crits are effectively random.
You mean the weeklies? Those are per character, and the currency is locked to your character. So enjoy grinding 4x as much as anyone else if you don't just main 1 character only

Ok i get what u are saying. Let me try to explain how i see this. I group melee threats into 3 groups: horde, elites, low groups/single trash mobs. First two groups are more important to cover do that's why i see evi as best option.
Hordes:
1 Evi - heavy-> push attack is great def and offence
2 hammer heavy-> slow but still great
3 deffenitly weakest
Elites
1axe no question best DPS
2 evi/hammer still good with specials attack
Single mobs
1 again Axe jest light attack DPS
2 evi is still good with it
3 hammer slowest again making him less optimal

If you mean the zealot one, its your F ability charge, not sprint
evis is fine and easy to use which is why a lot of people use it. but you're claiming the chain axe is lacking only because you don't know how to use it. i don't even use it for specials, i use it for hordes. bolter is for specials. i kill hordes faster than the guy with the evis because it doesn't take me multiple attacks or a heavy to get a kill at higher difficulties, and i know how to move well enough i don't need the stagger.

Talk with your team - you can't one shot it, so ask them to help you damage it, but not kill it. A psyker can brain burst it and it wont die.
Use the combat axe, you need to be able to deal a lot of damage in a single hit.
Hold LMB to charge a heavy melee, THEN hit your ult

IDK you mean there. If you're shooting for the kill a Mutant while charging, use a regular combat axe and a regular charged special. The one where you hold the axe above your head

Their weird system does create the odd situation where your grey power level 300 item will do more damage per hit than your orange level 300 item
Some people claim its level based, but I think its like VT2's system, where it takes the highest you've bought and plays around that number.

It's got the best perk for the gun, and solid stat distribution. It's solid as it is and will be excellent base to upgrade with crafting release on launch day

I don't think we know what the crafting system will be like....it might just be upgrading/swapping quality (gray/green/blue etc) stuff and not affect the stat distribution at all. So saving a low item power item might not mean anything once you hit max item power.
No, I do believe the stats are fixed when the weapon is first rolled. But traits/perks/and tier upgrading all appear to be in the system

All contract missions are teamwork shared, so it doesn't matter who does the killing abominations enemies and picking up books

I think the biggest complaint we can currently have about this game is that the item power fluctuation is way too high in the shop...I've got item power 400, but I can see as low as 320 or something like that...

Exactly, it's pure RNG. I've been stuck with weapons that are terrible for hours no luck for me.
lootboxes are also pure RNG. you're just as likely to get nothing after 2 missions in VT as you are waiting for the shop to reset after an hour.
I think what they think is "great" is that once you've put in a few thousand hours, you no longer need to worry about materials, so you can craft freely...but getting to those thousand hours and insanely rare Red drops...is agonizing.
Still you get 3 guaranteed items, at higher difficulties always a certain rarity. Here a single blue item can cost you more than you get in 2-4 missions
farming for reds is the only endgame in VT and it sucked.
a certain rarity, except 1/3 of them will probably be below 300 power and the rest will be unusable. until you get reds you just craft what you want anyway, and we don't have crafting yet.

We really need to wait until we see what crafting will be like in Darktide before we can make any conclusions about equipment.
In VT2, Power Level meant things like damage, and rarity just allowed for modifiers and traits. Upgrading was straight forward. But in Darktide, we don't have that system anymore. Item Rating just means points that the system can randomly spend on stats and traits.
So if one would reroll a trait on a weapon, would that mean it's always the same trait level?
Or would upgrading the rarity of a weapon worsen its stats?
Or maybe upgrading rarity always comes with a small rating increase.
Should we save a weapon with good stat bars, or one with our favourite trait, or with the highest possible level of traits? We really can't know.

Some friends of mine had a hard time on difficulty 1. I told them that they'll have an easier time on 2 if they play with ransoms, considering that anyone who played vermintide likely skips difficulty 1

I think we also still don't know if higher qualities points actually go into the properties...I think it would be a pretty lame system if it did, since it would make upgrading weapons to higher tiers actually terrible.
I'm imagining its 2 separate pools, one pool goes to basic weapon stats, one pool goes to properties...but we will see once the crafting system comes out.

Ranged damage only damages the shield, but melee almost always does a slight percentage through the shield.

Well, I am at least certain that having traits at all drops stat bars, as I've seen enough weapons of identical type and similar powerlevel be notably worse on higher rarity. Though it is of course possible that that was just a powerful trait, and every higher rarity comes with a hidden rating bonus. Then again, nobody knows what exactly those bars show.
I sadly doubt I'll be able to play diff 4 any time soon. 😞 Computer's just not up for it.

I think the very point is to not play like VT2, where zealot tried to get rid of his hitpoints ASAP. Where was the risk for that reward? Though that chip damage should not actually kill - I believe it's enough that most specials could off you with a single hit.
+Stamina is definitely the way to go....it feels so good to be able to push/sprint so much longer because of it.

I've got 2 +2 staminas and 1 +1 wound...and its a great mix. (only blues so far)
I still don't know what the zealot is supposed to do better than other classes ( I haven't tried it, but I've found ogryns to be better at horde slaying and psykers to be better at elite slaying with bb and force sword)

Zealot is a melee brawler. They can throw themselves into melee, outlast everything but the Ogryn and kill most things in melee. They swing faster, hit harder and have survivability

Im low level so I use the combat axe and I am a special hunter mostly, but also do linebreaking with a shotgun
Its the 'human' version of the Ogryn, or the 'melee' version of the Veteran. Its supposed to be a jack of all trades.
I've seen ogryns slay hordes way faster, but it may be skill issue (my opinion is only formed from watching my team play those classes, I'm a psyker)

So in particular dealing with specialist as melee better than any other class and crownd control with flamer
people don't like it, but to each their own. i like evis and it's stagger is very helpful with hordes, but its not as guaranteed kill and relies on heavy attacks, so it's slower going getting through a horde imo. chain axe is light attack spam, clicking heads, and is 1 hit kills. its light 1 is like a chainsword special which can be jarring because it locks you to your target very briefly, but i've gotten used to it. if you're good with push blocks and dodging i think it's better, just way more damage output and speed.
I would imagine gather a big group onto a bridge (use push blocks to stall them, shoot with flamer for a second or two, grenade, continue shooting with flamer.

I don't recall but you can figure it out with 1 friend by walking away from each other. Teammates will have a shield icon when in coherency, put a marker on your teammate friend after you don't see that shield and that's the max you can go

For that penance you still need to be close, not super close but still pretty close. Impossible with randoms and watch out for mutants
Just btw, people are usually cool to help you with penances if it isn't going to be an active detriment to the mission
Honestly, I don't see the appeal of the surge staff. The damage is quite low, the peril buildup is very high, the cast time is long, the range is bad, the threshold as to when another attack makes you explode is SUPER low, (reducing your effective peril treshhold by almost 20%!!) and the fact that it puts you on a lot of peril, makes it harder to pop heads when a special shows up.
The only pros I can think of is "unlimited ammo" and "some amount of CC".
But I feel like in most cases you are better served with a nice heavy laspistol.
I might use the staff if it caused significantly less peril, but as it is right now, I feel gimped every time I use it.

I haven't tested void. But surge seems really underwhelming compared to a gun. Yeah stun, nice, but in the time you stun stuff, you could have headpopped it. and small enemies? You swordfight them.
Void fuggin rules. It is basically a piercing rocket launcher. Very good damage, very generous weakpoint hitbox, staggers 90% of the time, even when using minimal charge, I think unlimited pen, low peril cost

I believe you get a blue hit for a shield hit, so it should still count. Haven't done the penance though, so I could be wrong

Trauma blows. Flamethrower is OK, surprisingly it is mostly good against armour. Lightning and VS are generally agreed to be the meta at the moment

Btw, is it just me, or is "Wrack and Ruin". kinda underwhelming? Mostly because I feel like the "soulblaze" is super weak. It seems to do about half a healthbar of HP on the weakest enemies which is fine, but only about 1/6 on stronger ones (not specials, I don't expect it to kill specials). On top of that 3 meters is a very small radius. I might feel better if it was a huge AoE, but as it is right now, I feel like that talent row is very meh.

Even on the 30 one, I would still put Kinetic Barrage, purely because it doesn't eat the stacks.
The level 30 one kind of rules honestly. With how big the range on it is, it will basically delete an entire horde and do serious damage to any specials other than the chunkiest of bois
Like, with 6 stacks on difficulty 4 I think it will put a mauler to half HP, 4 stacks is enough to wipe mooks
Plus I believe it has a 10% chance per kill to give you another stack, so if you use it on a horde, you'll most likely get at least a few stacks back anyway
Playing the intro a second time as an Ogryn was kinda disappointing...like, I get that the las pistol is probably threatening, but in comparison to pointing it at a human, it feels kinda funny that she thinks it'd do the same thing. Good thing its skippable.

I haven't used it in a game yet, so the only thing I'm unsure on is how it interacts with cover. I assume it will catch anything in sight, including just a cheeky shoulder, in which case it is genuinely amazing - you could clear an entire bridge/hallway with one F
Just wodnering if anyone's found a workaround for not being able to refresh weekly contracts yet, I know a few people have managed to just randomly be able to here and there but nothing consistent. I'm lvl 30, 200k coins etc, just can't get rid of this secondary objectives on a map that isn't even out
she might have to double tap but a gun that can "melt off a human arm" with one shot is perfectly valid for killing an ogryn
I get that its an actual threat 'in the game world', but it just doesn't "look" the same considering the massive size of the Ogryn and the tiny little pistol.

anyone been able to get the "complete a mission on malice without taking melee damage" penance yet? feels like i always get clapped in the back by 1 mob that somehow made his way behind me and im running camo expert
Anyone else ever get out of memory this is my second time having it happen.
The worst part about trying to do the 0 ammo 100% accuracy penance is realizing you were the only reason teams weren't getting overwhelmed by elites.

well game problem in regards to its optimization and system requirements but in the end its about your hardware

it is your hardware, you can blame the game but your hardware is unable to run the game without force stopping it due to more or less reaching its limits
The healer class is "staying together". People close to each other heal each other.
Ogryn .... healing wise cant be stunned out of heals .... suport wise you do hard ranged dmg to help ... and you clear waves ... pluss you control flow of most engagments
Nah tbh many cases of good PCs failing to run, crashing or ass performance

out of memory is a different issue and related to his hardware. optimization could make the problem better, but it is, in the end, his hardware. it could never improve even with optimization
Sad i do not have these issues in star citizen which i hear is a tough game to run i think the beta just needs more work hopefully it gets it before launch cause right now its the only game that just refuses to stay launched / refuses to stay connected to lobby / has wild lag making dodging rough. even the hub is laggy / also the all settings on low but game still runs not good is so sad.
Ogryn is the only dedicated "support" class. All the others are DPS/specialist killers
star citizen is definitely easier to run but also poorly optimized

Or just use the axe and keep hammering in overheads.
Probably depends on time period...in a short enough time period, plasma probably wins, then medium time period bolter probably wins, and a long enough time period it'd be a debate of one of the autoguns.

Braced autoguns are amazing.
Also depends on boss I guess...like, the chaos blob thing has a real big weakspot, so bolter can nail it through a whole mag...while the plague ogryn is kinda hard to headshot through a whole mag.
