Is it allowed to share pics here?
pretty sure yea, as long as it's art related
Hi, I'm a illustration design student so.... idk if anyone needs help but in case you need help, hit me uppppp
heyy! anyone studying cinema, filmmaking, screenwriting, cinematography?
any Graphic Designers in here
I have an option at school that I follow and it's cinema (we make films, and all you said), maybe I can help in a certain way ? T^T
nice !! I'm just looking for some websites, forums, book's recommandation about those that inspiring you or help you study ☺️
Hum basically, we just look some videos on Youtube ( Guillaume Bastien is a good french ytbr for this subject 😋 )
We also look at devenir-realisateur.com for all the vocabulary and all ^^
It's all in french but I can try to find some things in english if you want :p
french is fine ! thanks I will check it out 😋
it is art ?
Yoooo suggestion noticed. I finished this illustration, u can check the process out on my IG if you want
Rn Im studying a lot of shape fundamentals and anatomy. Id really appreciate a buddy to exchange critiques with/do fundamental exercises w/ Doesnt matter what level of art
it looks fantastic! I deeply enjoy the rendering of her side profile. I feel like aspects of her hair and coat miss the same amount of details that her face has. You can achieve this with some blocky shapes and hard shadows, to make her pop out of the background a bit more. I hope this helped, good luck friend
Yoo thanks so much, ill take that into account
it looks really good what medium did you use
Digital art and heres the ref
Holdup gotta find the og
very nice im working on my reference drawing skills
Awesome, something i recommend often is to see in Triangles. Likes from the eyes to the nose to the mouth. And makin sure its the same triangle on my drawing if that makes sense
thanks i will try that
Anytime! nice to see the art channel is active
ey pretty cool
I wish I could draw haha
wow guys that's pretty good congrats
Its mostly practice! never too late to start too, I bet youd see yourself improve massively if you stick to a habit of drawing regularly 😀
Unfortunately it's not really fun for me :( But I might test it out.
can anyone give me some ideas of drawings??
thats the hardest part!
yeah they're right. It really depends. I really enjoy to draw people interacting, others might enjoy landscapes, etc.
Sick art dude 👀💪
enjoy drawing*
@maiden ermine yea I have had the same problem. 1 watercolor requires patience (which I lack but am working towards) so this def makes painting skin harder especially since u have wait for it to dry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFslAFzR4lg&ab_channel=kelogsloops really recommend this artist for you study how he uses watercolor to paint skin. I think its pretty ez to follow too
A tutorial and sketch of how I paint faces in my sketchbook! Faces are one of the most daunting, but equally rewarding things to paint and draw! I also did a mini Q&A session too, and hope you find some of these topics interesting! #brbchasingdreams

Thank you to Squarespace...
thank you that actually helps a lot, yea im used to acrylic/ pen sketches buts its a medium i rly want to get better at, thanks again!
hand
nice hand! really love the perspective on the fingers
ty sir, the pinky i think i did best, the other fingers were absolute hell and look the part
Yo this actually helps a ton! Attempting to migrate from iOS garageband to FL at the moment.
Tysm
I'd say the thumb best finger as well! lol
tyyy
What type of painting is it?
Is actually pretty good! I don’t see mistakes 😉
its acrylic
I like acrylic it’s easy to manipulate
No it gives a style to your painting! But keep training 😉
ty
When you paint you always see the mistakes, bad things but the other people don’t see that, they just see a wonderful masterpiece 😉
guess so
I think the secret of watercolor is letting it be dried (sorry if my English is bad, I’m not native)
yes also patience, I never manage to keep my patience while the paint dries and manage to screw things up
your english is fine. I'm not a native speaker too
What bird is that?
The bird looks exotic it’s kinda cool
this is the reference
I have a lot of inspiration in painting, such as Van Gogh or Magritte. And I used their style to create 🙂
Like the background of that
So be inspired ! ✨✨💙
face covered in wax
You’re so sweet ✨
hey guys, this was my first real attempt at sketching animals, id love to get some tips and how i can improve more. ps the animal is a jaguar
maybe try pointing out more the fur (with all furry animals in general), this can be done by drawing the whole thing with lines which you lay over each other. Then f.ex. the different colored spots or the jawline should blend in more. But still nice drawing👍
This is beautiful
Thank you💝
Should ı paint this with watercolor or drycolor or ı should just add shadow with blackpencil?
Merhaba
hi
yeah but ı am not good at this so ı am afraid of making trahs it 😦
ohhh
i mean u learn from ur mistakes, if it doesnt come out as u planned try again
yeah ı will try thkans for respond 🙂
thanks alot
does anyone here go to an art school in the us? im a hs junior and i really want to know more about someone else's experience studying at an art school, especially if you do fashion!
i'm at school rn but pm me if you could chat! tyyy
I go to an art school (that includes performance arts also), and I'm also a junior. To be honest I don't know much about fashion, but I know of other students interested in fashion. They usually collaborate with the theater majors and create costumes for them, which always turn out amazing. We don't have a "fashion" class specifically, but we have print making where students are allowed to use a printing press, do screen printing, and lino cuts to make designs for clothing. There are fashion clubs that usually do shows or exhibits at the end of the year, showcasing the pieces they've worked on through the school year.
Bit of a work in progress, who knew the texture of flames takes so long to paint!! 😂 do you guys prefer working from dark to light or light to dark with oils?
yo thats really nice, as for me I prefer working from light to dark in general. sometimes i switch it up
that looks so good!!
Thanks man, yeah I think when I'm working alla prima light to dark is deffo a safer bet for gradients n stuff
i go to an art school and i'm a junior too but i'm not in the visual arts prime
How was it? @strong apex
I tried drawing some Calvin and Hobbes covers, used only pencils and color pencils, what should I do next
Btw Calvin and Hobbes is an amazing comic strip, you should read them in your free time :))
These look great! And do you mean what should you do next as in ideas?
u guys are talented fr fr
Does music count? I'm still working on this but I feel like its a bit too loud cuz Im terrible at mastering. any tips?
also the arrangement isnt complete cuz Im stuck so ye
thx :)
I think you need to just choose which you want to emphasise (maybe the melody and lower the bassline), since it sounds like the music is attacking all the time imo. I'm not the greatest at mastering either but I think just maybe knowing what you want emphasis on is really important.
I really do love the demo tho, it sounds amazing 👍
hey guys , I just entered this part of the server and I am seeing many beautiful pieces, here I leave you something I did for a gift trying a technique (dutch pour) and very beautiful things can come out, it relaxed me a lot to do it.
It is impressive, it reminds me of a book cover, it is a very similar style
ty, this also looks like a great reference to draw, i might give it a shot
Ohhh I was reading this book. I need to get back to it.
have you finished it?
I have not. I heard it's really good, so hopefully I'll get back to it.
Is it real, u r so talented 🙂
Agre u agree u
Got bored
try watercolors! they're a bit more tough to handle but the results are really nice once you get the general hang of it. paper matters a LOT though
duude nice work! Im terrible at mastering too but start putting equalizer to all the tracks helped me a lot to sound more pro
if a professional musician are reading this pls dont kill me haha
bro this goes hard good job!!
Would anyone reccommend taking a Drawing elective in high school? I'm being very picky about my Junior year electives.
I mean, if you are picky in regards to electives, prioritize those that will benefit you for college. Do you want to study something art related?
drawing is hella fun, id say go for it.
Pleams critiq
This is awesome! Maybe emphasize a bit more on the bass and cutoff like 1-2 dB off the highs. It's pretty great already tho
statue body thing
the shading looks great btw
i went crazy trying to figure it all out at the time, ty
I'd outline or make the tree in the dark side have a light blue color, it's extremely hard to see. I'd add some orange and reds to violets for the sunny side. The foreground (closest thing to the viewer) could use a lot more detail for depth, otherwise nice peace. The night sky is really well done so is the blending on the other sky
don't be afraid to push the darks and lights!
Thanks for the critique : )
thank you so much 🤎 actually it's easy, if you choose the correct colors, I tried with other colors and it didn't succeed very well , but you have to try it. there are a lot of videos of how to do it
hello ! Could i please get some critique on the shading? The light is coming from behind her
I think the middle of the body needs more shade. right now it looks like there is also light coming from the front. Also i think you need to add stronger highlights on the outside of her body and i think when light is coming from behind, the outlines of the hair have to be light. I would recommend looking up some pictures of real people to see what i mean
it looks really good already tho ;))))))
awww AHAHAH thank you so much ! Ill add some sort of rimlight then
can i ask which program you used for this ?
i used photoshop : )
but ive worked with Krita before and its pretty nice too
Medibang also
and those 2 are free
ah thank youuuu
youre welcome : )
Hi! I don't really know, what exactly to ask or if it's appropriate to ask here... I've joined this discord because I want to quit art. Like for real. I've been doing this my whole life, but It's hard to find a job and I'm starting to lose all my passion. When I saw you all studying hard and then carry art as a side hobby, it just seemed soo much better. All I did was spend an enormous amount of time drawing (then drawing, and drawing) with led to nothing. Besides being quite good at well drawing. Is art worth it? Is it going to help anybody, is there any point in it? That's all I struggle with.
Hi buddy, can I ask you st ? why I can't upload an image ? it reported an error that the content was inappropriate even though it was just a small pencil sketch 😦
I don't likw the fish much,it makes the scene look a bit confusing but also quite vivid, the cloud you should work a little more carefully to look more realistic, for example reduce the brightness, etc....
Damn, makes me not want to have art as a career
honestly i think if your passionate about art, you shouldnt think about moneyy too much
Disagree a lot, making art costs lots of money. I think a lot of people don't understand that, and it eventually leads to disappointments :). I'm not saying u can't make it, but it's hard.
It's like dreaming to be a pianist, but without money to buy a piano 🙂
Of course, it depends where u are in life. I know people that don't struggle with finding jobs or gigs and fully support themselves from making art. I also know lots who aren't able to do so.
if theres no disappointment where is feeling of succeed?
I don't know I lost it through years 😉
this has been recorded i think this is an answer for me.............
It happens, but you need to consider it yourself. I know people that are absolutely fine with making art, working hard and getting paid
Yeah I’m in highschool rn and I’m not sure what I want to do in the future. I definitely want to do something creative, because that’s just who I am and I really like art... but yeah I’m not too sure either on what I want to do
Despite me sounding extremely depressed - don't discourage yourself
I'd recommend minding money, but more like - how much do you need to start? What's the business in your country. Do you want to make your own business or be an employee? What are the requirements of those? Are there art-related jobs in your country? How many?
Also are you confident enough to sell your art? To convince an employer 🙂
I really hope that, in few years, I'll be able to answer those questions myself ^^
Hi Gabi : ) Im currently in my third year of studying something art related. Im doing animation and VFX at university and honestly im in love. Can i ask if youre currently still in highschool or if your studying something art related? What job do you want in the art industry?
Can anybody guess who do you think it is? Atleast if anybody giesses right i can rest assured
I'm an art school graduate - sculpture major. I did games design later and worked as a graphic designer for a year. I don't really know if I want a job in the industry anymore. I loved drawing my whole life, but graphic design ain't it. Jobs for illustrators are limited, and usually looking for someone with 2+ yrs of experience.
There are also some 'ethical' problems like I said, is an art worth it? Isn't it better to utilize your time studying something more important?
both, traditional in art school zbrush in uni.
but I suck at 3d I'm sure 😛
It totally is, art is so important without art wed have a society of people who wouldnt be able to relax or get their minds off of things easily. Without art most hobbies would be gone. No music, no gaming, no dance , no reading , no culture
we just become workers
Nope. She is indian
i strugle with 3d too fqgwhetf AAAA
I had this cool conversation with my friend a few days ago. We conclude that the most respected (for us) artists weren't actually majoring in art or at least not only in art. We have talented mathematicians, ethnologists, physics who portray their thoughts through art.
I dont really know you so i cant say much but in my point of view it would be nice to work on something that i genuinely am passionate about. I know finding work is hard and that we have to be realistic but if youre driven by passion i think youll get far 😄 I think the issue is that art for you went from a fun hobby that fills ypu with joy to work. I mean its normal if you studied it tbh and i relate but i see it as a problem because of burn out
Yea agree, but gotta ask questions to find answers. We'll see in few years.
yup : ) i wish you the best of luck and i hope that this was somehow helpful to you
just out of curiosity what are u doing on this discord for ? I'm retaking exams to eventually change majors, but I wonder what art majors do here? I've never really counted time while working on art.
And thanks ^^
Youre very welcome : )
I find it hard to focus on my more technical subjects like rigging, texturing and digital compositing so i came here to do my work in the study rooms, idk it just feels nice to study in a group. Also this art help is a cool place for feedback
i also take scriptwriting this semester so thats something that i need focus for
lol
maybe I should actually post something here
just for reference - thats what I stopped at
so people won't have any exorbitant expectations of what I said
This iss legit cool!! Oil?
nope
It's Photoshop but all painted, no photobashing*
the lighting looks so perfect
Ok really nice though. I am not into digital art so didn't guess
this one is also really nice it feels like its from a kids book
yeah I was thinking about getting into child illustrations - no jobs available unfortunately
ok anyways, I have exams coming - going back to work
thanks all
good luck !
hi, could someone here help me with technical drawing?
Hey! I get what you mean, I think this way too a lot. Is art worth it? What am I doing with my life? But I think that existential questions like that can apply to any job you end up in. I am a professional artist and work in animation. I dropped out of college though and got hired by Netflix. There's definitely issues with the industry. I saw you did game design and illustration and I know there's issues within that too. I think honestly there are problems everywhere but there are some pockets of good people and good things to surround yourself with in each place.
For me, having art as a career is definitely tough to balance liking to make art and having to do it to make money
I think it's an endless struggle for artists honestly haha
But sometimes when I'm feeling good about art and what I do I like the idea that I am telling stories or able to touch people in some way. (hopefully in a good way!)
Anyways, I totally get wanting to do art on the side when majoring or working doing something else. But I think also you can think beyond just the limits of what society places on you. Study art = you must only be an artist
You can do whatever you want and try out new things as you grow and get older. It's just learning new skills and experiences imo.
I've met some really good people working in art and also people I would rather not work with again. But I think that can be said with any field. Idk! Hope that helps or something in some way
i wanna major art or smth but i havent taken any art classes in hs and i have all these stem classes that i dont even like
ahh well it's okay a lot of the time what you don't think will help applies and influences you later on
WOAAH THE DETAILS ARE SO 🤌 GOOD
the brother of a friend of mine is pretty decent at drawing ... this is some of his work
I'd really like to get better at drawing but lately I don't have much time :(
I relate to that a lot 💔 I barely managed to draw at least once a week
Hi, thanks for your reply. I'm glad that you like your work. My past work wasn't bad in terms of employees, but it was a commercial graphic design which's more like cheating people. I guess when you have a job that makes people smile, that changes everything. One of my biggest inspiration those days is puuung (Korean illustrator/animator). Her work does make me smile and feel relieved, I guess that's what art is about for me.
But that's also what makes me mad, cause I can't find it in my own works.
This could sound better
but like its a mini project who cares
I just remixed my alarm sound
Hello, I'm young but i do m'y best in drawing I would like to get some critiques of this draw to train me and lvl up fast pleas >< (he's not finish)
dude that sound sick, can i use it for my alarm?
is this chat for musicians as well?
you have a really nice linework! see if you can get into the book/illustration industry! especially children's books (not saying your drawings are child-like, but just cuz children's books have an illustration on each page)
really nice fur textures! be careful not to overdo it though or else the drawing will have no focal point. right now the painting seems very dark in tone, but like you said you're not done so can't tell yet
I could ✋
Completely agree. Puuung's work is really something else. I love that she focuses on the emotion she wants to express, through the unconventional, unrealistic simple doodle. -that ofc take work to animate- yet expresses so much, its been so memorable to me.
She makes her art represent good feelings in a human way. I'm kinda trying that too. Tell a story with art. Even though that might seem obvious, I draw cool individual stuff that is often forgettable for me, making me feel like I lack something. That's why comics and animations hit closer to home. What do you guys think?
Thank you verry much
It seems like they use a lot of de-saturated colors to convey more of a mood and atmosphere as well as use a lot of backgrounds. try adding that to your pieces
okok I'm gonna take the thumbs up as a yes, Is there any musicians that could help me with ear training?
I mean you dont need permission if ur gonna use it as an alarm but sure ig
To be honest I completely understand how you feel. But I feel like this is what most people nowadays are confused about. Just because you love doing it, doesn't mean it should be your career choice. This applies to pretty much everything whether it be art, music, sports, etc. Just because you cant make a job out of art does not mean you should quit it. The entertainment industry in general (art, music, sports) is pretty confusing to say the least since its somewhat luck-based. There are many extremely talented artists that go completely unrecognised. It's really risky and "taking the leap" in situations like these can lead to a stressful life later on. In my opinion I don't want you to quit art because you are really talented, like super talented and you truly have a gift when it comes to art, but as I said earlier the entertainment industry is rigged and too risky to do anything in since it's mostly luck-based. Does that mean that you have to sit through a 9-5 office job that you absolutely hate? I mean not really. Education is a system built by society to give people jobs and things to work for. There are many high-paying jobs out there that are easily accessed with a good education, which is why I suggest it. I can't tell you what jobs are for you simply because you know yourself more than I know you, so I'm leaving that part up to you.
To summarise, just because you love it and are really good at it, doesn't mean it should be a full-time career. You are extremely talented at art and I would genuinely feel sad if you were to quit something you are so gifted at. That said, it's not suitable for a job since the entertainment industry is luck-based, so I suggest you try to find something that you enjoy that you could get a stable job from. Please, don't quit art. Keep it as a hobby but I beg do not quit it because you are super talented and you shouldn't waste a gift like that.
ok that was my ted talk Imma go sleep bye :)
As someone who loves art and wants to pursue a career in it, this makes me question myself if I really should? Thankyou for taking out your time and writing all this, it's raw advice and I think it would really help some people like me.
No problem I just wanted to share my opinion on stuff like this cuz I also had that problem until I found a solution.
Most people just get the wrong idea because of how the media says things like "chase your dreams" or "no dream is too big" and I completely agree with that but the meaning of these phrases has been distorted. By "chase your dreams" (my definition) it means to work hard now so that you dont have to suffer later. Have your goals in front of you, knowing exactly what you want, and working hard for them. For me its to have a stable job while being able to still make music. I don't really care what job I have as long as it pays me enough to live a decent life and gives me some free time here and there to work on music and just relax. That's what drives me to study.
Yea I totally get your point, it's just that some people look at things in a different way than others and I think it's fine as long as they are not exhausting/harming themselves.
Like some people really do focus on one thing
Be it any form of art
And they are doing great, whereas some are not
It just depends on luck, opportunities, drive, etc :))
Exactly
I've heard this saying "Luck is where preparation meets opportunity" and I actually completely agree. But I dont suggest artists spend TOO MUCH time since it isn't guaranteed no matter how hard and how well they work. Which is why I suggest doing art in your free time while working hard to fully secure a future. In some cases an art career can take off in which case it would be safe to do art full time, but I don't believe art was meant to be something you get paid for. Art is a form of expression, a medium of emotion. It's basically a message that words alone cannot express. That's what art really is (in all forms like art, music, dancing, etc.).
As long as you enjoy doing art for the sake of doing art, why would you want to make a career out of it?
That's kinda what got me out of a rough period in my life where I had no idea what I was gonna do in the future. I'm glad I found the solution and I just wanna help others out as well since I understand how they feel
Thats great :)
Thx :)
anyways its getting late rn where Im at
Ive been procrastinating too much I think I should just go sleep
It was good talking to you
Gn <3
I'm not sure if this advice will help at all but, atleast my strategy is like, entering what could be considered a "practical" form of art (graphic design, UI/UX Design) because it still involves creativity, and keeping art that you truly enjoy as your own hobby, and if people want to purchase a piece or two, that's great!
I love to draw and specifically draw characters and anime junk, but the thought of that being my job just diminishes the joy i think i'd have felt initially having it as my own getaway from life n things, yknow?
Cwirl already made some good points, but essentially having a fulltime that is something you're even just a tiny interested in, with what you're truly passionate as something you do in your free time that you can build on at your own pace is a gucci way to approach it too 👌
plenty of ppl start like that and if their say small art business REALLY takes off then they move it full time! Its just that there's so much more to it then just "make art" with stuff like that.. marketing, copywriting, management, finance etc
Nonetheless I hope you find out a good balance between everything ❤️
Hello! I know nothing about art but I want to get good over time in drawing body figures, the face, and abstract ideas. Can anyone give me any advice for where I could start (I can spend 20-30 min everyday)?
have u had any studies on such prior to this?
use lineofaction.com and do a class drawing session, it really helps. youtube videos on how to do figure drawings help too (proko comes to mind). there's a channel called croquis cafe but youtube tryna be pg13 blocked a lot of their stuff so they're mainly on vimeo now I think.
nope
thanks dude
doing figure studies also always helps!
ah kk
i want to get back into art and i want to just be able to slap sketches into a notebook without worrying about the quality. i know it's simple as 'just start' but i always knock myself down whenever i try to do it can someone send some encouragement?
any site where i an practice my drawing for free?
What device are u using velkan
try to enjoy every second you have. If you have time to draw some little doodle, love that you have that time and that opportunity. keep doing your best, keep fighting, stay strong, and love every opportunity that gives you the chance to love and relax in that very second. Thats what makes every second count for me and helps me enjoy every ounce of effort i give, even its just trying to draw something pretty. Its ok to keep thoughts simple and to not think sometimes. in the long run it will give you a lot more energy and vigor
i really needed this thank you so much
happy to support anytime
my first attempt at singing+ production, i taught them both to myself so i apologize if this sounds scuffed- how can I improve my voice, production, and songwriting?
your voice sounds so nice oh my god
yo can i get the spotify link, this shit kinda fire
For a first attempt this sounds amazing
I just did this for fun but critiques are welcome!
thank youu, I'm just at a roadblock where I can't think of literally anything to write for the prechorus or any of the other verses so this is probably gonna stay incomplete until i can finish something else and get back to it
If i can finish one song I will be sure to put it on spotify and send you the link 😂
THIS IS SO COOL OH MY GOD
I love how clean the lineart is honestly it looks like you took your time polishing it, this looks like something out of a game's artbook
Thank youu that means alot!
so far it's so good!! if you write/produce any other songs we all would like to hear
@burnt escarp this is the only other draft I've made with my voice in it, I'm probably gonna focus on just writing a full song this weekend and worry about the melody and production after I finish the songwriting process in its entirety
don't have expectations, just draw for fun
bro this is spotify worthy 🔥
you right you right!! thank you!
This sounds amazing ngl
oh wait
not everything has to belong in a museum! perfectionism is the downfall of progress, and without making "bad" art, you can't improve 🙂
i have the veeery first track i made, like in high school so a couple years ago
all i did was listen to the weeknd back then so it is embarassingly edgy
💀
ok but the development
thank you so much!! i really needed to hear this
man everyone in this channel is so sweet ☺️
true 😂 idk, in between this and the most recent little snippets i made i did a lot of composing for video games so I'm like, trying to re-learn how to do non-soundtrack music
maybe for song-writing you can make the words have a clear separation, Idk, I have dyslexia so I wouldn't be able to tell 🤣
also, your bad isn't someone else's bad, so apart from maybe objective criticism like "I think i could do better with perspective", you shouldn't talk down to yourself! you're an artist, not a critic 😂
yeah that's true, I should definitely think about how the words come together to avoid lyrics that are hard to understand pronunciation-wise
i also noticed the music overpowers your voice a little, so if you could raise the vocals so we can hear your voice clearer :)!
Glad I helped, even if its a little 😄
true 😰 i need to keep that in mind when i start using watercolors on the weekend
yeahhhh, especially on that older track, that was before i realized that I needed to listen to it on monitor headphones because it sounded clear to me and muddy to a lot of other listeners
most importantly, why are you doing art? because it's fun and it's something that makes you happy. If you spend a lot of time in your head worrying about the end product it'll reflect on the final product andddd you wont have fun either, so it's a double L
I can count like a hundred things I'd do differently with this for example
but who cares, i had fun while i was making it and the person who requested it was happy so
is that irelia?
yep, she wanted an animation of irelia
that looks so good MAN!! you are talented as hell
FROGS!!! FROGS!!!
it's super janky and paper-cut-out-y but at the end of the day it was fun
FROGGERS IN CHAT
frogs are always welcome 🐸
these frogs make me very :)
AAHHH so cute
FR?? that's so good!!
oh god mspaint is the best, just trying to draw things with your friends using it and comparing the end result
we all made some cursed stuff back in the day
frog in a frog costume 😳
did...did he skin someone he knows for that costume?
mom pick me up im scared 🐸 🔪
can anyone wants logo
😰 only @royal fern knows...
👀 💦 he's a father of 12 and works 3 part time jobs and has a bad habit of chainsmoking a pack a day
he sells balloons in a frog costume
ahhh i see i see
i actually have another picture of him but i dont wanna spam lol
we do not mind more frogs
Oh also, when you have the moaning in the background (sorry idk whats it called 🤣 ) its louder than your actual voice and it collides with the music and your voice.
Yeah
it's not moaning but yes i understand 😂 when i finish a full song this weekend ill focus on mix quality and clarity
k last frog i swear
this is adorable
IT ALL COMES TOGETHER OH MY GOODNESS
YOUR PFP OMG LOL
Send me the final version 😭 Its already so good
@royal fern i am so in love with your frog drawings
eyes face thing
mad it myself @royal fern
it is v cursed
What in the fuck
photoshop takes me to some dark places
What was your inspiration in this art-work 🤣
idk man, my friends and i play a lot of valorant
and i just took our existing profile photos or like, the characters in them, and tried to put them on valorant characters
Okay, that's actually really good
tyvm, they're nice stress relievers
can you send your pfp
they're gorgeous and you should print them
si
oh man i just remembered 2 more that I drew 😂
do show us
@faint ruin
Also idek how I fucking found this
the resolution looks a tad low
I tried so hard to find it again but its impossible
i gotchu
you know what legit bothers me? I found an artist who made beautiful work, like he used oil paint and acrylic to make a work that looked like a newspaper cutout collage- how skilled do you have to be to make oil paint look like news clippings?? but then his work was being sold for only $200 for the original canvas and his social media followers are near empty
and that actually makes me mad
just 4 u i added 2 more bonus drawings
Maybe he's selling it to the wrong audience
LMAOO SAILOR KNIGHT
i wish art was more valued, that is really frustrating 😥
also social media sucks. all about the algorithm and likes. see if he knows about artstation
Art isn't a core value in schools, 😭
naveen kumar is the artist
How in the fuck
reverse google search
This guy is a genius
true, i should dm him
not only do artists undermine their own work but people underestimate how much effort goes into artwork :( his artwork really does sound amazing
@burnt escarp like LOOK
it's being sold, the original, for 300,000 jpy
or like around 270 dollars i think
I WOULD BUY THAT IN A HEARTBEAT
NO WAY THATS PAINT
GOD DAMN
what’s his @? i want to follow!
same
and zzyma
as his artist namr
Hes the chinese one right?
he has maybe 1k followers on twitter and his last post only has 190 likes
japanese
Oh yeah its him
Oh my bad, I didn't even bother trying to find the difference 🤣
his background is kurt cobain i love him already
he sells other original works that aren;t as big for literally under 25 dollars
for the original
Thats prettysad he has talent
Holy
for the ORIGINAL
these are really good as well

scroll up
Those 3d??? Or am i blind
i like the top left the most, seems like chrome
bro
;-;
Oh wait it loaded nvm
Holy
if i could venture a guess i think it's just bc japanese art schools are so competitive and the art community is just smaller than the USA's cause over here he'd probably be famous by now
^
like im not even a fan of abstract art usually but his makes me FEEL emotions
I dont even know enough about the artist world, but god damn this shit is beyond amazing
same
even then it’s frustrating, because art is about so much more than competition!!
wow
Its called Dance2 and theres a blue version called Dance1 🤣
lmao he names some of his pieces like I'd name a homework file
Imagine its homework 🤣
Its prolly is
Yeah but if anyone is interested here's his page
wait
Oh there we go
These links give me anxiety
I dont know if they will load or not lmao
same haha
If the students are this hella talented imagine the teacher tho
The lineart is soo clean
If the teachers that talented imagine the student is a better way to put it, cuz this guy is talented asf
i havent drawn anything in months, it hurts to think about
Jesus, I butchered that sentence lmao
Yeah drawing is so frustrating, but most times its because we can't process a 2d image in our brains
edit: music may be a bit loud so lower volume
this is probably my fav internet-website art if that makes sense https://matias.ma/nsfw/
Come on, shake your body baby.
^^
That's why I try my best to envision what something would look like before putting it down
just give it a try! you dont have to draw a world-class sketch, maybe just follow a youtube video on like, form studies or something
fuck you
That shit was so loudddd
i dont care how good or bad i am at drawing, its just hard to commit my existence to something
felt
myb, it wasn't meant to be loud D:
That's why you form habits, you don't really exist then
There is a lot of studies on habits
Its basically a instinctive function, but it can make you stronger as a human
isn;t that why you're in this discord man? you dont need to commit to something right away, just remember that you being here shows you've already committed yourself to self-improvement in general
^^
Basically
yeah im taking things slow, i just like talking
i have a strong habit of speaking too much
I usualy have a journal, I talk a lot about motivation, a lot of journals about defying the gods 🤣
Its cool doe
that's like going to the gym, coming home and being upset that you havent lost weight 😂 you're still making progress, very real and commendable progress, just by starting that journey yano?
Factss
Teh only reason you wouldn't make progress at the gym, is if you didn't want to see improvement. Which goes back to Kevin's previous point "isn;t that why you're in this discord man? you dont need to commit to something right away, just remember that you being here shows you've already committed yourself to self-improvement in general"
Its a perfect example
like if you wouldnt make fun of a homeless man at a job fair, why would you put yourself down when you're also clearly trying to improve yourself?
yano?
stop being so hard on yourself people
that's what the government is for, you dont need to give them any help 😂
Easiest way to get stuck in a loophole ever ^^^
At first, it was working hard to numb the pain, then it became working hard to face my fears
It takes time, but dedication is more important than time, dedication is timeless, in a sense I guess
i am very much aware i am not wasting time improving and loving myself. the pain just hurts a lot sometimes
though soon it wont be there anymore, i got confident things will be epic and pog
I just made myself see everything i need to improve on myself like I'm grinding stats in a game, it genuinely really helps me keep my motivation even if I'm making progress super slowly
Hmm. . .the best way to do it is talk about something personal. For example, I had a border-line porn addiciton, but the way I fought it was literally by sitting in place and resisting it. Just a lot thinking, it went away in 30 minutes but it was difficult. You need a strong mentality, to get a strong mentality you eat healthy, are healthy, and make healthy relationships. You also make sure you always get something, a reward, out of your work. Even if you are wrong, you can find something in you everyday life, or make something special out of everyday if it doesn't come to you.
might i also say, you don’t have to do anything alone! ik we are strangers but if you need someone to talk, there are so many ppl on the server to help
yup!
Bro, Im about to become a philosopher at the age of 15
I read it back, and that shit shocked even me god damn
I prlly wont be that helpful though my response to most emotional problems is usually "lift weights" and if you already do "lift heavier weights"
which coincidentally
is also what the greek philosophers would say
bc they were all shredded beyond belief
something different works for everyone lol
Were they actually or was that just propoganda?
man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable." - socrates
he was also an olympic wrestler if im not mistaken
ahhh i love discussing the artistic eye and how art is altered for propaganda, dont get me started
oh wait no
socrates just loved fitness
PLATO
Bro i swear Greek philosophers contributed so much to our society
was a giant for his time, and was an accomplished olympic-level wrestler
propaganda art is super interesting, even if it's malicious
the choices the artists make are always so intelligent and purposeful
BRO THEY NEED TO ADD ART CLASS AS A CORE CLASS :_:
regardless of whether theyre morally correct
yea, chinese and north korean art is super interesting cuz they're like ww2-esque paintings
other reasons art is useful and ppl are wrong abt it being useless
WE LIVE IN A DEMOCRACY, WE HAVE THE FREEDOM TO GO TO COURT AND ASK FOR REFORMS
IM ABOUT TO START A MOVEMENT 🤣
yo, that explains a lot about history
yeah but now most of the art people see is that weird flat corporate artstyle with the pastel colors and the bean-people that everyone thinks is trendy even though it makes me want to bleach my eyes
^^
I hate it
Its so. . .grotesque
EW
Its like looking at the most emotionless mofuckers ever
They forgot the 3d version that Kroger jump-started
yea, it's supposed to represent everyone and no-one at the same time
so p lifeless
supposed to be super offense-less so
there's a game called "going under" that actually uses this artstyle for all it's characters and enemies but it's actually really nice because the entire game basically mocks all the new startup companies
one thing my professor has said is that if what you're doing doesn't offend anyone, then you're probably doing it wrong 💀
I need to keep that in mind because I always try to be objective and shit
What ad is this even for?
yea, there's always someone that's going to be offended no matter what. you can't satisfy everyone
it's a game where you play as an unpaid intern for a terrible startup and have to fight through the remains of failed startups where the employees turn into monsters
Yeah, that game has a bigger message behind it 🤣
They turned dead-art into what it was really meant for
there's the "joblins" that parody like, microsoft, demons that used to work in a startup that was like tinder but you could only respond with emojis, and a crypto mining company that turned into an undead mineshaft
kinda reminds me of slap city
I just realized the only games I've ever played were fps games
But i dont want to get back into video games again, they are too addiciting
business casual man from slap city
true. they always talk about no drugs but what about no League of Legends and all the other toxic games you can't get rid of cuz you're too addicted to playing 😭
i still play them in my free time but it takes wayyy more self control than its probably worth
I play valorant, csgo and i used to play r6s, i have never played a non-toxic game and I have no escape
yea, I played 2 games of csgo and there was always at least 2 people scremaing at me in voice chat and i was out lol
Yeah, ti reduces our patience
At one point it made me completely insane
I'd rather live in blissful ignorance during the medieval ages
I also realized that not many people were really truly aware of what is going on currently in our with technology and stuff
Imma take an art class in my last year of high school finaally
Idk if I’m gonna do intro to art or graphic design tho
Dont do an intro class, they suck dick
graphic design deals more with photoshop and MAYBE illustrator/vector based stuff while intro to art is traditional technical drawings and getting into mediums lke charcoal, ink, graphite, watercolor, and acrylic
You know what's ironic, I said I wanted to improve my art skills but I never looked at any refrence or shit like that, and let me tell you, it did not go well
Especially since the only tool I would use was a pen
Y’all working hard and me drawing this after binge watching anime feeling like a next generation picasso and proud enough to pin on board
ayy thanks
these people in here are really piece of work
makes me wanna draw to become like em
this is really nice! if you have a photo editing program you can have a multiply/overlay/screen layer over the top and color it in further!
I'd post an example but I don't wanna steal ur thunder
im just 17 but have no difference from a boomer when it comes to photo editing programs
i dont really care
hello 🙂 Could i get some feedback for this
I didn't wanna post 3 seperate images so this is just enlarged file folder thumbnails
CUTEEEEEEEEE
It looks really really good! I'd push either the background OR the subject's shade further for contrast so the subject pops c: so making it darker would highlight it
you are clearly better than the painter who drew me like a bubble fish. It is definitely your thing, keep motivating everyone around ya
THANK YOU ! ILL TRY THAT
I actually struggle a lot with digital, I'm very much traditonal over digital 😔 hopefully my 2 years getting bachelor's helps, idk
will you send more of your work in future? i bet the difference will be noticeable. btw i know traditional and digital are 2 separate things but if you are this good at traditional you have guts and determination to get better at digital too
sure thing
am i allowed to like share art here
yep
cool
This. This is like words you want to hear but don't know them unless you hear them ❤️
Hi I really like rough lines u used. I'd personally work a bit more on hands. Really common procedure to show off your skills. That's something experienced artist would always look at - feet and hands - they really show where your skills are at (but i guess you already know that^^) Besides I like it.

its a masterpiece indeed sir
XD
this is beautiful 🤧
THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK! ill do my best lmao hands suck
Hey anyone watches boyinabands videos?
Hi there
Ahh gotcha maybe I’ll do graphic design
Huuh why
hi i'm designing a character, which option do you prefer? any comments, suggestions and criticism are welcome 🐈
i love both of them 😭
haha, thank you!! but i need to choose one of them 😿
hmmm i think the top one
i like this one better. the goggles add a bit to the character itself
I will now begin to draw, its been a long time but i feel better now
this reminds me a ton of like mykey and the neighborhood. Really good !!
i like the top one better
i did this a few weeks ago, can someone give me some constructive criticism? 😓
Woah. These are beautiful.!
This looks amazing. I guess you messed up a bit on the left ear and the lip part. The top lip curve should have been more detailed. Rest is pretty cool. The cat too looks mesmerizing.
yes, i had a feeling i messed up on the lips but couldn't pinpoint what so thank you! I'll fix them soon :D
i think they're both adorable but i prefer the first one!! the confidence and goggles really sell it for me
@blazing coyote The shell of the ear could be thinner, and add the highlights to her skin that you added to the cat since the light should come from the same source so it'd hit her face a bit
This is so beautiful 🥺 I think you could add a little depth to the hair maybe 💓
oh my god, this is great 🥺 thank you sm, im saving this for ref
i legit dont know, sometimes i paint hair and it turns out good and other times its a mess 😞
🥺I get you, I think most people tend to struggle with hair but it’s all a matter of practice, once you learn the technique it’ll become easier and flow more naturally to you <3
I was talking about the cupid bow
ahh, i see. this makes it much easier. thank you!
got it! I'll keep that in mind
THIS IS SO PRETTY WOW
Can't criticise... But tbh ...
The luminousity in those eyes tho... Jst LOVE yr art
IN LOVE WITH YOUR ART STYLE
🫂

Thanks you very much for all your opinions! So im gonna draw a turn around of the first one
THAT IS SO COOL
WOAH. the colors look amazing what the heckk
proud friend
jeez, you guys are so talented

To be specific... Love the ||MOUSTACHE||
the mustache does look VERY detailed 😳
it does.. (gulps) 😳
YOOOO THE TEXTURES, THE COLOURS, WOW
THANK YOU VERY MUUUCH 💖
dahyun
hiii! 😁
hello !
it looks very dark and moody if that's the look your going for. if not, then try having an overlay or screen layer and painting over your lit areas
both are nice, o personally like the second more, she seems more thoughtful and apprehensive. also i dig her pants and her hair makes more sense (how do u braid with 1 arm?), her hair being more round and bouncy also gives me the vibe that although she might be shy, she's also optimistic
Not sure if im to late but i prefer the top one
i love this late night lighting and dynamic but somehow eerily silent vibe. you captured it so well!
Hobby related question...
Cam smn teach/improve my sketching skills?
I drew a lot in the past but didnt have time to sketch cus of school...
If u r willing to spend a few minutes of ur time for me, id happily appreciate that.
Thanks in Advance:sparkles:

if anyone is interested in taking up an animation job, there's someone in the server that needs a 3m animation done
this is very nice! im studying to do that i the future : ) has it been nice so far?
Hi! I'm supposed to make an art critique paper for midterms but idk what art to critique... any suggestions?
You could critique e.g. Art from the dadaism, modern art, etc. Especially those were the artist detach from objectivity are good.. Or the other way around, you could critique Impressionism or realism or that kind because there is not that much expression :)
Anyone here do Animations I need it
I can pay for it
I want to make video clip
Anyone interested dm ms
Oooh do you have any specific pieces from the dadaism period?
I was 3 years into business school and dropped out to pursue this, best decision I ever made. There's so much to learn. If you ever wanna talk more on this feel free to dm me anytime ^^
For example the typical pieces of Raoul Hausmann! :)
**There is a new rule (rule number 5), please read it before using the help channels! #rules **
I think there should be a separate rules channel cause honestly i dont think anyone really checks the welcome channel much
i always have to try to remember where the rules are located
Gotcha
Hi, how are you? I'm from Brazil
I would like to know if anyone would be willing to help me get my first drawing done I can give back teaching Portuguese or basic programming
i'm trying for a month so far i'm not progressing i think i'm not dedicating enough or i'm just doing quotes in the wrong way and i would like help because it's something i want to turn into a hobby since i was a kid
Does anyone use blender?
heyy, perhaps I can help u, I'm also brazilian and I draw (but I'm not a professional), anyways, you can add me so we can talk more about it if u want to
I accept your help thank you very much indeed
Heya ^^ i do 3d art thought id share this frog i made here
Hey guys. I wanna join a Procreate live tutorial with a 1 one 1 with a teacher does anyone know anyone
Hey! Im not a teacher but what i do know is the basic concept of most of the tools in procreate!
||dm me for if u wana||
Sure but could is it ok if i gtg soon? Sorry i havent told u this earlier
Oh alright
Hi guys I'm trying to do some instrumental anime stuff to have some fun, I play every guitar you hear on the track. Let me know what you think about it 😎
Ay dude this sounds amazing!
the guitar stands out too much (too isolated?), sounds like you're doing a cover over a full instrumental but with like 20% volume. I'd at the very least raise the drums a bit, otherwise this rocks
Since we’re sharing frogs,,, here’s mine 🐸
yeah that's what i'm doing right now. I'm playing over a full instrumental. Thanks for the feedback 😎
fantastic just raise the voice of the drums
Coool!! do you have instagram? i'd like to follow you!!!
yeh yeh it's petarpehchevski3d same as my discord tag. I don't post as frequently but I'll be starting to ^^ thank you for the kind words❤️
ayooo art section
hi I was wondering if I could get some opinions on a drawing? its a gift for a teacher but I want to make sure it looks correctly and fix any silly mistakes.
That’s cool can I be u
send it
OMG i love this i just saw this 😭 this is ART i love it so much
omg awwww this is too cute 🥺
Haha tyty
I love him
Hold up can we ask anything about art that is non school related such as how to draw using procreate? 😭
I guess so! What’s your question?
I- I literally died of a heart attack cos this place sounds like heaven 😭
Tbh i still cant quite differentiate between clipping mask and mask, afaik they are similar 😭
i tried watching youtube videos but people apparently use both mask and clipping mask interchangeably and both do their jobs exactly the same
i have zero knowledge about digital drawing and im not really good in drawing and colouring, so i still find it difficult to adjust switching from drawing on paper to drawing digitally
I can only talk about clipping mask on procreate. I haven’t used the good ol mask. Maybe someone here can establish the difference haha
my stylus broke anyone got any suggestions on what i should do?
On a normal layer, if you draw something, and later add a clipping mask on said layer, it creates a new layer that differentiates your drawing from blank canvas. Therefore You can paint only in your previous drawings’ boundaries. It’s hard to explain if you don’t do it yourself lol. Hope that helped
noted, i will give it a try! thank you 🙂
is this purely the practical side of art or can it be theory too?
they do both do the same but clipping mask lets u use multiple layers isntead of one
everything art is allowed c:
ok thank you
okay, i will give it a try since it's difficult to visualise how the mask thing works on multiple layers. thank you!
hihi i draw landscapes occasionally. i cant pick a favorite but i like this drawing lol
Oh my god this looks BEAUTIFUL
thank youu!!
i LOVE
OMOOOOO share ur talent
also since were sharing frogs
Heres mine👀

the riffs 🥵
Drew a mountain yeti in Illustrator a long time ago. Was my first digital drawing. :3
Prettyy

guys, i've been drawing for 10 years now, let m know what you think cuz i'm so prouddddd
Yall are so talented 😭❤️
I tried photo manipulation on procreate a few days ago. Still learning though 😄
sweetie U ARE TALENTED TOO LOOK AT THIS i love it 🥺🥰
Thank you! Wasnt confident enough to share because it was my first attempt
i love this channel 🤧 art makes me so happy pls share your works we love to see it <3

thats ushiima from haikyuu
ushijima
the girl is my oc
the other is bakugo from bnha
Girl ur art is 🔥🔥🔥
Does anyone have good tutorials for face structure?
This is pretty cool. The outlines resemble vector art to me. 👀 💯
well i learned how to do values through vector art
usually it doesnt looks like this at all hahha
It is still pretty awesome. Dang.!
Not sure I get the term 'values'.
Ahh, I see.
shadow placement basically
the green hair dude was drawn on medibang
the last is on procreate
i can't get over how wholesome and cute this channel is :3
hehe ❤️
you guys are all so good! would love to collaborate or do little themed artwork with you guys 🥺
its my frog that did it didn't it
Hey there ! idk what the policy of sharing link here, but for those who are trying to make a more comprehensive study over illustration, drawing, concept art I found an amazing curricula of what to do, how to structure the study, exercises starting from the bases, links to youtube courses, etc ❤️
Also, I was wondering if its possible to make an art-streaming channel ?
Faces i doodled in 30 seconds
please lets 🤩 something to look forward to ! !
Value is how high and low is from a light scale, atop being the most luminous areas and the lowest being a darker value. (disregard the numbers on the picture)
So, "value" is the light and "tone" the color
Thank you. This makes sense.
No prob ❤️ im not an art teacher but Im an full-time working artist of sort jaja, just pin me on any question and I'll se what I can do ❤️ (but im pretty rough around the edges on Ps, I usually work on Procreate)
How did i do ?
It's looking really solid ! i like how you did the shading
Really ?! Thanks !
I am currently working on a wingy thingy design, so many feathers 😴
It looks really good!
got any for anatomy?
my poses look stiff af
like.... even dynamic look stiff
for stiff poses i think just doing lots of gesture drawing can help. Just some quick daily sets of sketches will let you get a better idea of the "flow" of poses. https://quickposes.com/en/gestures/timed is a great site for it @normal robin
probs go for a lower time so you focus more on gesture than anatomy
👍🏾
Thanks 💗
Yes! lots of live model !
Theres this amazing resource called Croquis Cafe that makes amazing live modeling for quick studies, gesture studies, volume and value
Also, for gesture drawing I'll highly recommend the Proko's classes, he explains it super well
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74HR59yFZ7Y&list=PLBnwmlTQLxzEey1-lsLKjN8BoGtDhb9vS&index=3
Get the Premium version of this video - http://www.proko.com/figure I go into more depth and talk about other gesture related concepts.
Don't miss new tutorials, signup for my mailing list - http://www.proko.com/subscribe
What is gesture?
Quicksketch
Gesture is in everything
Gesture is most important
Tell a story
Longest axis
CSI
Simplify witho...
Now, theres a ton of resources to go with anatomy, but best way its starting with drawing live model to really see the human body
Also, to improve gesture i highly recommend working on a BIG paper canvas. not an a4 paper but a 50x70cm paper or bigger. Bigger canvas means you have to work with your body and expand the whole movement while drawing. A tablet its usually small and doesn’t leave much room to long lines
The shades are pretty good o_O
Thanks fam
ooh this is great advice ty
Ah sorry I hadn't checked discord until today, but here it is :]
it looks really nice! I'd add another shade of color to the branches so it isn't so starkly dark. you could add a bit more of the blue shade to the cat as well but it looks fine. really nice touch with the yellow highlights btw!
I was thinking about the branches but Thank you I wasn't sure if the yellow was too much. I appreciate the help!
really good start with the values! I'd work on soft vs hard edged shadows though (like how sharp of a contrast the glasses are vs. something more blended like the hair, the skin should be a lot more soft edged, especially when it comes to blending); that's what you seem to be struggling on. If you're struggling with brushes then maybe stick to one but mess with layer effects (multiple,overlay,screen,etc..) and/or use the opacity function
just a photo so you can see what I mean since it gets confusing a bit and I didn't explain it too well
https://youtu.be/YYzyIYAerBo maybe you want to try it! So beautiful ❤️

Hello, I need advise about VST plugins
What is better install Guitar Rig 5, Guitar Rig 6 or Bias Fx?
absolutely blessed
uhmm hey mate.. is anyone here a game dev ? using godot engine specifically ?
Hi this is my first time here! I've been working on this piece but I'm currently stuck and idk what else to do. I know it's far from complete so any suggestions or tips would be helpful
F-F-F-F-FRoGs
froggggs
the sketch looks good, but cant tell how the painting is going cuz of the background color splashes and sketch . seems good so far. seems like you just need to lay in the flat colors and see where you need to go from there
what do you want edited?
Photo
yea but how? you want a duck in there or there to be snow everywhere?
i would like to capture the characteristics of that dead snow
anyone studying architecture here?
thats awesome
this is so amazing, im in awe 🥺
|
I've been doing this for a few day, I think I'm going to stop here, really proud of the result-
Wow! this looks great! Is it for a class or is it a personal project??
Personal project, I'm trying to learn how to model, to later animate my own projects ^^
Oh! that's exciting!
Indeed ^^
I've been doing this for a few months now, kinda hard with my potato PC, but it work-
It looks great despite not having the best pc to work with. I'm sure the animations will turn out great also
Hey this looks srsly amazing !!
ZZ
looks good, a lot better than my first few guns ^^, keep going!
some unsolicited advice would be to always gather as many reference photos as you can. Thats the thing that helped me the most, with hard surface you want to do as little "guessing" as possible since youre attempting to mimic things that exist.
👍
little progress shot of the environment im working on
Bro it's sooo fcking good
good idea ^^, working on lighting later ill try that out
hi i'm planning to learn some pose sketch but i don't have any basic in art
do i really need to learn form the begining or i just learn form pose
doesnt matter really
in my opinion as long as you start from somewhere
like values to shapes
u will start to know where to go from there i guess
at the VERY beginning i traced alot
cuz even a stroke was hard to get straight
if u wanna do pose then go ahead but it does require quite abit of skill already to do a nice pose O_O
if u do wanna do pose then i recommend dynamic poses so it doesnt look too STIFF
same thing qwq
this pose took me way too long
and the booty of the dude is flat
XD

Did you do that in Maya? That's so incredible!
i have a 5 year olds humor
it's nice, I'd maybe keep the scribbles to each individual section of the torso, like scribble diagonally on the arm, then horizontal for the chest, then reverse diagonally on the other arm
thx
Posting an old project
''old''
A few weeks old
looking cool !
Big neon space boat-
just finished this laboratory :>
i was doing a face study but then wanted to draw fishies
sell it as an NFT, this could pass off as a whole new style of art
wait whats an nft sry i dont know a lot of art words?
it's something connected to cryptocurrency
oh ok
tbh, i don't know much about it, my friend introduced it to me
but it's an interesting thing if you wanna look it up and read up on it!
cool my friends keep on saying to do commisions but idk if that will work cuz i dont ever put much time into my art so i migfht just do free ones for expierience
Yeah man, definitely go with your gut! Whenever you feel ready to jump into doing commissions and other greater things, don't worry about criticism or have anyone object against your idea! Keep that confidence!
Dang you have a very unique drawing style, it's refreshing
if anyone wants to do art w me, i'm in one of the chill out voice channels 😄
i did this paint sketch tonight of an eye closing, critiques are welcome! trying to develop a looser style but still maintain the integrity of the light/color blocks.

Ah ok, it banned last one since it belongs in nekkid category.
