Oki
this is one of the subjets, idk how to search the article in english
the other are the laws of gases, like gay lusaac and that stuff
intermolecular forces also
and thats it
easy word... indeed xd
lemme verify if its the same stuff
well, it is
This chemistry video tutorial provides a basic introduction into stoichiometry. It contains mole to mole conversions, grams to grams and mole to gram dimensional analysis problems. It contains mole ratio practice problems as well as other examples. The molar ratio can be found using the cofficients of the balanced chemical equation. The conv...
He explains it well
thx a lot!
Welcome! For intermolecular forces I guess y’all would have different vocabulary for the names idk if it I’ll confuse u
This chemistry video tutorial focuses on intermolecular forces such hydrogen bonding, ion-ion interactions, dipole dipole, ion dipole, london dispersion forces and van deer waal forces. It contains plenty of examples and practice problems to help you understand the most important concepts related to this material.
Need Help With Your Homework?...
Welcome
He has videos about laws of gases too u can check em out
He’s a life savior😩✨
Good luck u can do ittt
thx ❤️
xd
idk what u is supposed to mean, sorry
yeah, probably
What’s the final answer?
i think it is 500 meters
Oki thx cause I am studying mechanics rn and felt like doing it :3
oh ok cool
But ah man I’m so crappy in mechanics 😭
I found 509m but there is a problem with the signs😭
np, i did nothing xd
How does the stored energy increases on increasing the distance ( seperation)
U is inversely proportional to r right ? So how's this possible'?
Or someone pls explain the answer in baby works . I AM STUCK 😭
they're opposite charges.
pE = k (q1)(q2)/r^2
but since they are opposite charges, one of the two charges will be negetive.
so
pE = - kq1q2/r^2
now see, if you increase r, pE will become less and less -ve(will approach 0).
So, pE will increase with increasing r
The inheritance from the given traits of the following family tree can be said to be absolutely recessive?
i cant solve this i think d but correct answer is b
When two organisms can interbreed and produce fertile offspring, then they both belong to a single species.
Hey, please don't ask exam problems here.
always true
nope this aint exam
seems like one
my school always use gforms when answering solving probs
just a simple question
i wish i can write them
Still need help ?
yeah @prime junco
Always true, bc when two different species give an offspring, it would be sterile.
yeah like horse and donkey are different species, their sons are barren while mule
Kinda forgot the answer cause I did biology last semester, but isn’t it D?(colored means that they have the disease, the parents would be both heterezygotes so their child might end up with aa genes which means recessive)
And both their children are aa(recesssive) @static forge
Yup
From D, you cannot really answer cause of the fact that the parent could be a-a- or a-a+ (a- is the disease), in this case a-a+ and a+ a+ parent will give you a+a+ children and a-a+ (disease) children and here you got a a- > a+
A) It could be dominant one parent could be a+a+ and the other could be a+a-, with a- > a+
B) is the correct answer because both parents are " normal " while one of their children isn't (a-a-), which mean parents are both a+a- and the children is a-a- with a+ > a-
C)If both parent are (a-), but none of their childrens is, isn't absolutely recessive
D) Same as A
correct me if i am wrong, i didn't do genetics from a while
Oh yeahhh
Ur right
the parent cannot a-a- bc shes not pink. sick people are shown in pink.
The parents would both be carriers
Please help me with this Question
Children can be a+a-
in this case
white parent is a+a+
Idk I don’t use the signs plus and minus in biology so it’s confusing lmao
We use A=dominant
a=recessive(decease)
The parents would both be Aa
So their children are both aa bc they are sick if they had an A they wouldn’t be sick since it’s dominant
no a-a-
How can you say ?
From what i see, you can't
Umm yeah u can
This seems right to me
the mother is heterozygous, the disease does not occur
a+ is dominant, a- is recessive(disease). the others are all sick which means they don’t have a dominant gene so they have a-a-
Yeah i know, but you can not said " D is right " cause of the fact that both parent could me homo, in this case, a- > a+ and a- is dominant
cannot homo
dad has diseas
a+a+ and a-a-
bc he is pink a-a-
Are both homo
a+a- not diseas
It could be if a- is dominant
The mother can’t be a+a+ bc the children are a-a- and they take a gene from her
yeah
Children in this case are a+a-,
So the mother is hetero
oh wait
👁️👄👁️
and if the a- is dominant, so the children are sick
It is also true when we organize it by the raid gene
Which is dominant gene a+ or a-
a+ means sick
Oh yeah
there may be a dominant inherited gene
OH OKAY
we are an idiot
@prime junco thanks man
Thank youuu :3
In this case, the pink one is probably a+a+ i guess
My english is bad, it's all on me
No idea how to do it sorry :/
Maybe it's clearer
Yeah for D there are two possibilities I got it lmao it’s tricky tho 😭
Tysm :3!appreciate it
yeahh thanksss
Ok
There you go
substitute the dimensions of A D and V in terms of M L and T and equate it with force's dimension in terms od M L and T . and wherever x comes , equate the powers on both sides . you'll get x=2
Thank you for the answer @shell drum 👍
hope it was clear. 11th grade physics ?
alright. good luck 🙂
Hey guys can anyone help out? This seems like a relatively simple dimensional analysis problem but by my workings A, C, and D are all correct, however the book says only A
Ok so:
σ = [M / T²]
λ = [L]
ρ = [M / L³]
g = [L / T²]
And v² = [L² / T²]
Right?
Yeah, using this, the LHS and RHS are both [L² / T²] for A, C and D
What am I doing wrong?
I tried out the question and yep your answer is right
A, C and D are correct
there might be some misprint in the ans key
isn't sigma mass/area?
oh my bad, i'm not native so some terms are not known to me
just assumed it was something like pressure
ohh np
ok so D is not correct because 1/2pi is adimensional and the other term isn't, so you can't sum them
hmm it's a dimensions question and those r constant values having no dimensions but yea maybe we need to find the most optimal formula
A and C are correct if you just look at the dimensions, probably it's A bcause C doesn't take in surface tension and density
Nah I just realised D isn't right either cuz it has a dimensionless term being added to a term with dimensions, making it non-homogenous
yep
But that still doesn't explain why C is not a valid answer
Yep
ohh...I shall note that down for future reference
this is my guess
But in dimensional analysis you're not supposed to assume the involvement of terms unless derived right?
So why A over C?
but we also can't ignore all the terms given
we need to find the relation with all the terms
True, so technically A and C are both valid answers for the question
yes, with heavy preference over A hahaha
i still think A is correct because lambda g/2pi is something very ambiguous
yep PhysStudent got some great points heh
i'd say this isn't a great question, because if you don't know anything about waves and their velocity you can't really say anything about it
but if you do, A makes more sense
We don't have to take all terms into account. For example when we are taught derivation of formulas through dimensional analysis we usually do the formula for frequency of a pendulum and the teacher asks us to include mass, even though in the end we realised the exponent of mass is 1 making it a non factor in determining frequency. Similarly, just because surface tension and density are given doesn't necessarily mean they determine velocity of a wave
ah ok but it's a mcq so ig we need to find the most suitable ans
Hmm yeah I suppose they expect us to use our knowledge in waves as well to answer this... Lambda g/2π does seem to vague
I just wanna be sure though, cuz this exam has negative marking
Wanna avoid taking chances
Thanks for your inputs though @viral sorrel and @thorny gyro !!
Really helped out
yikes
You're welcome!
np 😉
All the best for ur exam! (maybe try asking ur teacher for their viewpoints)
I mean these are practice problems so no stress, but I'm practicing to try and be as confident about my answers as possible before giving them in
Thanks! It's actually a competitive so I don't have a teacher for this stuff, but I can ask my school teacher ig
Ohh I see
You can join to some platform know?
There Vedantu/Unacademy/Byjus/Topper,etc,...
Can anyone explain this
No, it can occur in any other polar protic solvent
alright thanks
Relative formula mass refers to the molar mass of the ionic compound correct?
I'd rather not join coaching. I feel like when I'm learning myself I push myself more and my understanding is deeper than if someone spoonfeeds the concepts to me. It's harder, yes, but I think in the long run it will do me good too
If you just look up the parallelogram/triangle law of vectors you should get a reasonably good explanation. Usually any 11th grade physics textbook would have an explanation since it's essentially the basis of vector notation and addition
It's true but we have 2 years for JEE MAIN'S so we have to study for boards and JEE MAIN'S
However my college provide both two in one (Sri Chaitanya College)
Is this Resolution of Vector?
Can someone explain the concept of hybridization and promotion of electrons within an atom. I'm having trouble understanding the reason for some atoms to hybridize their orbitals when they form molecules
Ah well I'm not giving the JEE, I'm writing the KVPY. Also I am in 12th grade so I only have about 6 months left so not much point in joining coaching this late
if theres a question asking me to find the torque
and then the force acts in the middle
so how do ik where the rod is pivoted?
im in class 10 icse
Chaitanya is hardcore though from what I've heard... You'll probably do well
Where are you from?
hey can someone help?
Sorry i do know about this
Well you do use resolution here, but it's vector addition that you need to look up
Ok
Currently living in delhi but I have lived and studied across India
Ok
Well torque is force*perpendicular distance right? If perpendicular distance = 0, then torque = 0
ye but i just wanna know how to know where a rod is pivoted
I assume when you say "middle" you mean the force is acting on the axis of rotation itself
Could you send a diagram? I think I am misunderstanding your question
Hey @fading mango could please chat privately
Hey
Can anyone help with ques no. 32
The ans is secretin hormone ..Can anyone explain how ?
Secretin stimulates the pancreas and bile ducts and in turn , water and bicarbonates gets released from them. bicarbonates are basic in nature , which increases the pH value that helps reduce the acidic nature
Is this what you wanted to know ? @copper mural
is this just an iupac name for chair conformation ??:>
Yup ...I got it
Ty
Chair conformation does not have to do anything with it , it's a bicyclo compound ( a compound in which two rings are connected by 2 or more carbon)
Any physics majors here? What are your thoughts on Walter Lewin's lecture videos?
Can someone recommend me a book, resource where I could learn intro to Molecular Physics and Thermodynamics that has theory and some tasks where you have to do practice problems calculating things and where I can see the solution if I get stuck.
I have about a month to prepare for the exam for my intro Physics class in uni, teaching quality hasn't been great. Theory was alright but didn't get taught well how to do the problem tasks.
Teacher kind of just freestyle solves all the tasks in classes and moves on without really explaining it. Worried I might fail because I can't for the life of me figure out how to go about solving practice problems 😢

can you help me with my science egg lab and colouroing
can u help me..
taht is so weird i also have to colour an egg...
stop spamming
Next time chat in general y’all
but i’m wondering how to do my egg lab
Just ask the question cause you’re burying the questions which were asked before just by chatting not even by someone explaining to you.
is this channel also for biology?
Yes
nice
Thanks for the suggestion, seems like a solid book
can anyone help me with this?
nvm solved it
ok thank you thank you!
sorry about the bad diagram tho 😅
nah it's perfect
hey, does anyone have grade 10 biology past papers?
can anyone who knows some french help me out with something in biology?
Does anyone have lg wade pdf(organic chemistry)?
I maybe can help in biology but not in french
do you have any idea what "cils vibratiles" might mean? Can't find an english translation or what it actually is
I write to you in dm, okay?
compare the dimensions.
still need ?
I know this is in german. Chemistry topic plastic - I do not know what to do with this...
no it's alright, thanks tho!
Alright ! If you need help about biology (in french) doesn't hesitate !
I want to practice my french, can we talk sometime?
If it can help you, yes !
nice
Looks like a standard polymerization summary sheet. Do you mean like you can’t understand how it works? It happens via radical propagation
can someone help me with this question?
Reynold number N is a function of the density of the liquid ρ, its speed v and coefficient of
viscosity η. Given that N is also directly proportional to D (diameter of the pipe). Obtain the
expression for N.
This is what I've solved so far
basically it's a dimensional analysis question
Nuke where r u? XDD
Hmmmm
ohh lol
Wait
ok
sure
Wait lemme calculate now lol
F = coefficient of viscosity area ×dv/dx
wat?
well ig I just need to find the values of a,b,c and d and then I can just put in the values of the powers and ta-da that's the expression
ah
F= MLt-2 = x (LT-1/L) L²
wait r u sure?
haha yea 😅
it's alright take ur time! it took me time too that's why I asked
just ping me if u get it :]
Aah I forgot some stuff , lmao , I had to revise fluids too , well solve the euqation you will get a= b= -c = d
@thorny gyro
ooh
ohh
Ah should I write
no no I got it
I was on call , so I was just doing mind calc ;-;
thanks!
ohh sorry for disturbing u!
Lmao , you didn't ping me or anything tho , I was the one who answered xD
Yep leave
thanks!
ML-1T-1
density = kg.m^-3
Speed = m.s^-1
viscosity = kg.m^-1.s^-1
diameter = m
so
Wrong formating w8
So N = without dimension
I guess
correct me if i am wrong
Just saw the messages now . Maybe now you'll get it right
-3b+2b+d=0
ohkk
yepp
Yep ty:)
I think it s a better format
Ohh thank youu
A = 1 B = 1 C = -1 D = 1
Well it does not mention in question that the number is dependent linearly on that quantity right ?
well, so, a= r b= r c = -r d = r
It just says it's the function of that quantities
Yep I can do it this way too I think
Nah it would not always work if you take it linearly ;-;
I thinks it's fine
Aah in the end it says it is directly proportional to D , so we can take r=1
but reynold's no. is dimensionless
Yes it is
if we take d as 1
Well it is given in question that it is directly proportional to D means r=1 (d=r from your notation)
Sorry for the poor formating btw
Hope you're not confused about it
nope I got it :>
is anyone good at organic chemistry??
Ask ur question and maybe some will help you
don't ask to ask, just ask ^^ https://dontasktoask.com/
If the law of entropy indicates a breakdown of order in the universe as energy is lost/dissipated, why is it that when a substance is cooled, it tends to crystallize? Even amorphous solids such as glass left for a long time show a tendency to crystallize. Why?
Far point, my apologies. Its not a direct question, but i'm having a hard time understanding mass spec. , HMNR, CMNR, and IR charts. I was wondering if anyone had any good resources or notes on them.
excuse me, but can someone help me with these assignments ? I'm stuck
I don't want to give you the answers cuz then you won't learn the concepts and it won't actually help you in the long run. So here are some hints.
-
Think of what the mass of the complete solution would be and the % of the solute (i.e. the baking soda) within that.
-
You know how to find the molar mass of a molecule using the atomic masses of each of the atoms it is comprised of right? Let that mass be X. If 1 mole (or Avagadro number of molecules) weigh X, then how many moles (and thus how many molecules) would weigh 70g? Simple cross multiplication!
Now that you know how many molecules they are so you can use that to find how many H atoms they are in total as well! -
Write out the balanced equation for the formation of AlO from Al and O. Now do what you did in question 2. Compare how whole number moles of Al would react with O to form whole number moles of AlO, and then cross multiply to see what fraction of moles of AlO would form from 108g of Al. Remember though, the yield is only 80% so only 80% of that mass would form, the rest will remain unreacted for whatever reason, so your answer should be 80% of your calculated mass.
Hope this helps!
Correct me if I'm wrong btw, I am fallible too and may have made a mistake somewhere
A Student of mass 50kg walks up a slope inclined at 30° to the horizontal. Find the work done by the student if he walks 25m along the incline.
How do I solve this question
So I got in #3 assignment 102g mass of al2o3 (product) what the formula to calculate 80% yield
can someone help me with this quesiton
A spring with a cart at its end vibrates at frequency 6.0Hz6.0Hz.(a) Determine the period of vibration. (b) Determine the frequency if the cart’s mass is doubled while the spring constant remains unchanged and (c) the frequency if the spring constant doubles while the cart’s mass remains the same.
T=1/f , for b and c use dis equation
Displace the cart by a displacement x and then draw the F.B.D. of the cart. Then apply Newton's 2nd law and write the force equation. The spring force is the only restoring force. Find the accelerarion by dividing it by mass. You will notice that the acceleration is in the form: <a constant>*x where x is the displacement. Thus the motion is an S.H.M. We express the acceleration as w²x where w² is the conatant. Find w. Then the formula for time period is 2π/w and frequency is the reciprocal of that.
P.S.: w is the angular frequency of the S.H.M.
I’m not entirely sure if this is the solution. Someone check and make corrections if any
Yall my question was genuine someone pls reply, can you extract DNA from semen through the same procedures for a strawberry
This was copied frm general they told me to ask here^
Hahahaha, i'm going to guess not.
DNA= Protein.
Proteins are notoriously unstable outside of their native environments.
You'll probably need to put the DNA in some sort of buffer and treat it first, for stability & preservation.
probably not? I think the difference is the detergent being used, as the dish detergent for strawberries breaks up cell membranes to release the DNA, whereas in sperm DNA extraction, they use a strong antioxidant like DTT to break up the membrane rich in disulfide bonds. But I think every step after that is essentially the same since they precipitate sperm DNA using ethanol
some mfer was about to splooge in a beaker and watch a strawberry DNA extraction youtube tutorial lmaoo
Haha okay thanks for the reply guys!
thought ought to say im thoroughly disappointed
though*
Haha nah I watched that vid weeks ago, I was on a porn site there they were advertising some thing that I'm assuming help guys cum more?? And the ad was a gif with a dude ejaculating in a beaker with water. So obv I thought of the strawberry DNA extraction thing
Furthermore, the reason such simple extraction works on strawberries is because they have lots of chromosomes
But dont sperms do too?
Sperm has 23, a typical strawberries can have like 56
The concentration is just that different per gram of the stuff, so it’s just easier for the strawberries
ye but there are lots and lots of sperms in one go
Plant cells are also just that much more tenacious because of cell walls and stuff
So there’s just enough of the end product without too much care for buffering
Ohhh okay icic
Tbh I just assumed it would be easier to retrieve sperm dna cause of how simple the components are for sperms compared to berries etc
Learn alot thx
learnt*
Who study physics from principle of physics by Halliday resnick and jearls walker
I've used it in my studies before...its a really big and heavy thing
Hi all! Is anyone able to help me with clinical chemistry? I need help with the explanation of why triglycerides level is normal in a diabetic patient, (shouldn't it be increased or decreased? I'm not sure 😦 ), and also coming up with a backstory to explain her state of condition. Currently we postulate that she's able to maintain her lifestyle and diet and just entered the symptomic stage of type 1 diabetes which has caused her to enter diabetic ketoacidosis, but we're also playing around with the idea of a possible infection to explain about her extreme hyperglycaemia. I would very much appreciate it if you could give me some input on how to solve this nutcase! (DMs are welcome :D)
Well, since entropy of universe is summation of system's entropy and surrounding's entropy, in some cases system's entropy decrease even when the net entropy increases.
All substance will try to minimise their free energy, some materials have a tendency to crystallize (for e.g metals) and others to amorphise, which is function of properties such as viscosity and fusion enthalpy.
Glass actually doesn't crystallize when cooled, it does (for a little while) when it is heated before finally melting.
I know, it is heavy but have whole phyiscs theories and concept.
Did you know pseudo force?
Adn is a nucleic acid, not a protein
mb, i got it mixed up with my work
What is the name of the compound C2H5CHO
Propanal
Thank you
According to the Atmospheric refraction the sun visible us to actual sunrise at which time
@pale mist
Yes, it is used as a correctional term while writing force equation from non-inertial frame.
e.g:- centrifugal force
Yaa, but it isn't given in principles of physics book. I think it is only on Indian physics
Yeah, my edition of resnick halliday doesn't even have the concept of coefficient of restitution.
The book mostly solves problems from non inertial frame through relative acceleration(which is actually better for proper understading and visualisation).
Mhm, I have 9th edition.
It give the topic drag in friction
That isn't given in hc verma.
As drag is in fluid mechanics
Some books include springs in the elasticity chapter, whereas others include it in the Newton's laws of motion chapter. It completely depends on the author, how he organises his book.
Yaa, some author write in other and other one in another. But resnick Halliday book is organised.
But I think they can give vector first then motion in straight line
I put my notes in some section like
First section is for mathematics in physics, then experiments and then kinematics and so on
Most of my notes are random scribbles where I write down my every mistake or if I find some interesting thought I note it down.
It's good, if my notes are important so I double tick mark it.
I know a guy whose notes I could pass on as a book in its own. I really envy people who can take neat notes (ó_ò'). With my handwriting every thing I write looks like the footprint of a cockroach.
Footprint of cockroach, lol.
My handwriting is also not as classic American style, lol
2 min before actual sunrise ig
The book is good for studying and understanding and yes I heard about pseudoforces its a cool concept but its a lot of time ago so Im not sure 🙂 We also used the Giancoli for studying, there are a lot of examples of calculations
hello, can anyone recommend a problem that is possible to be given a solution by an application?
can someone plz tell how do i solve this....
Find out the magnitude of force. The displacement is in the direction of force, so the angle between force amd displacement vector is 0°.
Work done= force x displacement x cos(angle between them)
The magnitude of displacement is given
Put all in the formula and find the answer.
Are you asking for these kind of problems?
thx a lot!!!!
Giancoli is good, but I don't like it much because it have mathematics,
But I use it to practice for mathematical physics
F = 2i + 3j + 4k
F = √2²+3²+4²
F ≈ 5.4N
So we have -
F = 5.4N; S= 5m
W = F. S
W = 5.4 × 5 = 27
W = 27J
It was simple, I think you are newbie.
But after some practice you will be master.
💖
From where this question was
tuitions
That's why it is simple
All the best
lmaoooo

I see your point of halliday then 🙂 I never liked physics much and it was just something I had to pass but its always nice to see someone who is really interested in it 😄
Yaa
I want to study mathematics perfectly, can you refer some books plz
I studied maths with calculus (schaums outlines)/ayres, it has a lot of examples...but for understanding everything my prof. made his own script that was super detailled 😄
Nice, thanks for reference:)
I think jvscholz should also make another channel for physics xD
But no one come there because many less people interested in physics (in Internet)

yes, I agree 😮 maybe on day there will be physics/biology/chemistry channel instead of science xD
xD which subject you like
since I study molecular medicine I like all of the molecular stuff like organic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, oncology etc 😄
na this is from physics and math tutor lmao
Nice topics, I like that topics. Maybe oneday separate channel for biology will made xD
I think you are right 70% but not 30% because this is helping channel...
Helping in a test is not called helping
its not from a test
@thorny gyro Okok
im doin practice
Minimum current will flow when the resistance is max in rheostat and maximum will flow when R=0 (R =resistance of rheostat)
Sorry bro I can't help you because I haven't reach in this topic
Nope, passed high school
at 17?
Damn am the youngest in my class , and also younger than avg students of my class and am still in 12th
12th ending
Will pass this year ,not year maybe in 2-3months
From india?
I never studied in india, I have studied in Korea in mys school days
Korean system is hard but not too much xD
Hmmm
Well I can't say anything about Indian system , cuz it will feel like am generalising my opinion as other peep's opinion
@thorny gyro
Did you give jee?
Will give
thank m8
Mains i meant
How much percentile?
I sucked in this problem from resnick Halliday book
Enough for advanced
No comment
Which rank?
If I say any more subset then the probability will decrease of incorrect guessing the percentile
Ok
Velocity isn't changing , so means the net force =0
Uhhh, there are 2more attempts left , rank comes after that :)
Yeah so it will be -2i + 6j
Yep
Yaah, I think I send half of the question only, xD
Great dude! I'm also giving advanced this year. I'm not gonna join IIT tho....
Same
So you are preparing directly for advanced now?
Yep
I can't give jee as I haven't authority of India lol
Why?
I'm an independent student just following my passion lol
Well am not specifically preparing for adv , am just revising all the topics , so that I can solve any question from any topic , for now am just revising everything , and then willl move on to questions of all level
Oh that's nice
Haha
I'll be opting IISc, I should be able to get an admisson there with my KVPY score (fingers crossed)
Ohh sed , I didn't give KVPY
Kvpy exam! It's is too cool exam, isn't?
I want to be a kvpy scolar but I can't
Nice.. that is better than iits if interested in pure sciences
Yeah! I liked the questions, as they made you think.
In 11th due to personally reasons and in 12th , last due date crossed for filling the form ;-;
I gave both didnt get any
Theoretical physics?
Yaa, I have solved every problem in kvpy, it was interesting and mind blowing and easy too (not much)
Where do you live currently?
Osaka
Well I want to study theoretical physics too, but idk if I will be able to join IISC , idk
Well I have to work hard for adv then ;-;
oooooooo in japan?!???!!!!?!
That's like the best country ever!!!!
If your theoretical physics is good so it is easy to go to iisc
They are cool for solving at home but during the exam I was wayyyy stressed and made many silly errors....
😅 isn't it too much.
Maybe for you
Idk anything about admission procedure , will see what happens in future
idk tbh, my knowledge from japan comes from anime and youtube videos only (ó-ò')
You can give kvpy or jee to admission
But iisc haven't b. Tech , it have b sc
Damn you are from Japan and know more about Indian institutes nais
Anime is too different as the real Japan but YouTube videos are real
You can try jee. They take in students from jee too!
Hmm then I have to focus then
I got these info from websites
Yaa, they can
bsc(research)
its a little bit different
Let's see , I have to revise everything (including 11th) in just a month or so , so I can go to questions
All the best!
Yaa, it is too different than b tech I think
I will go to MIT like international college to grow my passion in research
Oh nais nais
wooooaaaaahhhh!!
great dude! All the best for your future!
Yea ty , I was leaving the server too lol, felt good to talk about stuff , idk what will happen in adv or future mains , but cya until then :)
All the best to you too
In months!! You have to start your revision before 2 months for jee advance.
When I solve jee advance pyqs,
I think it isn't too difficult so chill and stuyd smart not hard
Thanks
All the best to you bro, wish you get 2 digit rank
Well I have to score extremely good to join IISC
Lmao close to impossible but idk
It's really different during exam time, the pressure is really on at that time. For many it is their only chance at a good college. Some peeps even faint before the exam due to their pressure.
Don't tell your mind that, relax and study, I think it isn't hard too much tahn people says
Just solve pyqs
People screw up even easy questions then.
Ok cya , am going , I joined this server to be connected to studies , instead I waste time more lol
Keep trying mate! Everything's possible!
@blissful parcel to be honest you are wasting your time in discord if you are preparing for jee advance
Ok mate!
I think you just use partial pressures tbh
partial pressure of water + partial pressure of the gas = 111.0 kPa
subtract the partial pressure of the water from 111.0 to get the “dry gas”
then just use combined gas law
some one know how i can do material balance with chemistry reactions?
this is the reactor
one step conversion= 5%; efficiency global= 50%
the current 6= 30% C2H4 and 70% H2 ; caudal = 2445 l/h
yes
i do
i learnt it in my chemistry
so i cant read spanish
but i would love to
so i can dress up as a mexican person and try to sell drugs
my family is actually spanish
my auntie
life goal
yes it is
im trying
i made a tinfoil mexican moustache
so
let me explain the chemistry
you know how i can do a combustion ?
yes, now i have another exercise
u can explain me how?
A boiler system uses liquid methanol as fuel. The system has a
23 L / hr feed current of methanol burning with excess air.
The gas produced has a composition on a dry basis of: 0.45% methanol, 9.01%
CO2, 1.81% CO.
that onbe?
one*?
nono , material balance
kk
uhm question
waht is the question in this
what do they want you to answer?
wait you live in uk?
nou
5 questions
a) Draw the block diagram of the process including all the information
delivered and identifying all currents and compositions.
b) Write the general mass balance equation that describes the process.
Indicate if the system is closed or open and justify your answer.
c) Perform the Degrees of Freedom analysis clearly writing the variables
unknown, independent equations, and additional information. I know
can you solve the problem? What type of balance will apply and why? Answer
in clear and legible handwriting.
d) In which units will you pose the problem and why? Please reply in clear handwriting and
readable.
e) Calculate the percentage of methanol conversion and the percentage of excess air
which is fed to the boiler system.
f) Calculate the mole fraction of water in the flue gas on a wet basis.
oh ok
bruh
that is alot
yes right
im gonna try my best
so i found this it might heko
help*
now question 1
let me draw it
u see
the problem is
that im learning this next year
lol
14
so we have to start by flowchart scaling
its the process of changing the values of all stream amounts or flow
rates by a proportional amount while leaving the stream compositions and
conditions unchanged.
this summed up
is there any toluene mentioned?
yes i have part one, i dont know how to do the balances
no
ok, did you find the part mentioning hwo to solve them?
i found in the a book call felder
ok
it would be easier to solve if i understood it better
i like chemistry and stuff
so this might be a good for me to try and solve
was the name something like balder kennieve?
who did something in this area
i printed out a sheet
uhn
i asked my sister to mark it
so its easier to understand
it was her paper
its linked
the answer
is
the answer
hmmm
ok
so you draw the burner
@eternal iris u did that?
you draw 2 arrows going into it
wait only draw 1
in the burner box
coming out from
write down the gases produced
its not really linked
well it is
but no
the half of the sheet is like
ripped
and stuff
very sad
ooh sad
well
uhm
turns out
she doesnt know how to do it either
the box thingy she did know
but
ur in uni right?
she is going to uni this year
starting in september
at columbia uni
idk if that says anything
sorry
i thought i could help
🙂 hope you get the answers correct
i think its 5+(37/60)+(45/3600), then (measure of degree/1)x(pi/180)
q's from study guide that i do not get::
When alleles segregate during spermatogenesis or oogenesis, when do they recombine again?
Why do you think Mendel’s observed ration was different from the theoretical ratio?
What is the difference between a homozygous dominant and a homozygous recessive genotype?
I can help you after coffee if no one answers to you🌸
ok thank y
Buen dia, ¿de casualidad alguien sabe la respuesta de estas dos preguntas?
Can anyone help me with biology
Depends on the question
Does anyone know the similarities of plant and animal processes?
Like the breathing? Plants at night use O2 and produce CO2
can someone check my work PLS!!!
correct
Does anyone have any tips on how i can study for Bio and Physics practicals, because of the pandemic, we haven't even done a single one and i have one on monday. Any help will be appreciated 😀
In case you have a practical book which contains questions/exercises relating to the activity, it's important to do that. Otherwise you can focus on understanding the activities and their procedure, precautions etc.
Subject specific tips:
For physics, it's important to remember the formulas and application of those formulas.
For biology, it's important to remember the scientific names of species or the dyes used in observing cells etc. (if that's in ur syllabus)
Hope that helps!
Thanks, it helps! We don't have a practical book, but I can search for one online.
Hello, can someone tell me how to learn Physics formulas, easily( but in a fast manner)
It's repetition and continuously using them to answer questions.
So I should do more questions?
Yep practice makes perfect, also it's important to understand the formula and not just mug it up
And I dont know why but, I always feel lazy to do questions, be it Maths, Chem, Phy, CS
Do you have any solution to this problem of mine
Like if I start doing them
And cannot sucessfully do 2 or 3
I feel disheartened and then I just get up from my desk, fo around, and waste my time
Like its not that I dont know the concepts, I and my brain very well know that ai know the concepts by heart
Ah...that happens..it's ok to feel disheartened sometimes but when that happens don't give up! Making mistakes is the way we learn so accept them and learn from those mistakes. Also, take small steps...that way you won't feel overwhelmed and it would be easier to achieve those set goals! ^^
But I am appearing for JEE Exam, and the model questions are quite tough, so these things happen with me
Oh another jee aspirant 😅
You too?
Yea but not giving it soon
Yepp
Yeah
Cause am in 12th xD
I thought ut would be embarrassing to ask for tips from a junior 😂
Lol but who cares
Ohh sorry I thought u were also in 11th ;-;
Hahaa
Hahaha aw welp I mean I can relate that's why I was giving u tips
Hey you can send me your doubts of 11th, that way I can revise my 11th easily
We can do that over dms
Cool?
Yep I have sent you a friend request
Soo be sure to check out the science channel for my doubts
Lol I think I've switched off that feature
I really need yo revise my 11th standard
Hahaha okiee
okay
All the best!
Which Bio praticals are you supposed to do ?
We don't know, but my teacher said it may be, Food Tests, Enzymes, or Looking into Cells. Any of those three.
Youre in kota?
let me see if I can find some of my works
Alright, thanks : )
Reactivity increases from "left to right" of the Periodic table
:)
Idk anymore uhu
can someone help me please? 🙏
thank you!
@late vigil Could you please verify the result
Can someone sum up the conservation of momentum please
basically, Pinitial = P final when it is conserved. Think of it like energy, where all of the force accumilated has to go somewhere
when a mass has velocity, it is hard to get its speed back to zero- the more momentum it has, the harder it is to stop it
your initial momentum of the object transfers into it's final; or, if you have an object colliding with another one, object a's momentum carries onto object b.
Thanks
does anyone know why one string of the DNA is 3' and the other one is 5' ?
thanks
you can start by going over each and every experiment diagram when it comes to physics. if you understand the circuit diagram , it'll be easier for u to know how to connect them. also, since its a pandemic i'm pretty sure that the they're going to go easy on you with the viva questions. if you learn the circuit, you have already learnt your aim of the experiments and materials requires, then start with the theory. if you learn the theory, then you'll get a hang on the tabular columns since you know the formulas. For bio, just by heart your stuff. They wont ask you anything out of the ordinary. Most probably they might tell you which all spotters to expect before going in. Take it easy, take you r time and study, Two days are enough to finish your portions and revise
You need a free 3' hydroxyl group on the sugar ring in order to initiate a nucleotide addition. This is only found on the end of a DNA strand.
There are 2 hydroxyl group positions of the sugar ring in nucleotides. RNA have both the 3' and 5' while DNA (hence the term de-oxy) only has the one in the 3' position
Thanks, definitely gonna use the advice y'all have given me, thanks!
@short herald
Anyone know any good source or stuff to learn about the mole concept I seriously don't get it )):
Have you tried watching crash course YouTube channel's videos?
Which grade you're in
year 11, Australia
I'll check it out (': ty
Ohh what u don't understand in mole concept
like If I was given a question I can't answer it because I just get confused with the formulas my teacher said and understanding the terms to identify in the question
Ohh it's easy to understand, mole means just a number which is equal to avegadro constant, and avegadro constant is also a number, btw how old are u
16
I think its more of being able to know what to look for when I get given the question
Send me some question, may be i could help u with it
because if you asked me to find the mole or mass or whatever I am completely lost
oki
and I'm strong in maths too.. I think I just don't understand the concept or overthink it
@thorny gyro
Can someone give me two reaction equations each with metal formation, ionic bond and polar atomic bond? pls
1st i'll teach u basics
1st we have to find the relative atomic mass of that compound
And relative atomic mass doesn't have any unit
After keeping gram after the relative atomic mass, it becoms it's molar mass,
Then the relative atomic mass of carbon is 12and that of oxygen is 16 and hydrogen is 1
is the relative atomic mass 60?
Yesss
Yeah divid it by 20.6
Then you get number of moles
In my book it's like this, 1 mol of sodium atoms= 23g of sodium
The relative atomic mass of sodium is 23 no, so when we keep grams next to it, it means there is one mole of sodium atoms in 23g of sodium, means there is avegadro no. Of atoms
And if there are 46g of sodium, number of moles in it is 2 moles
20.6 divided by 20 which equals 0.34 mole right? is dat the answer
Noo, divide 60 by 20.6
ohhh my bad
Like we divide 46g of sodium by23g, then we get answer as 2
Yayy
Yes yes
Don't give up
Nevar gave up
i dont really get this aaa
im not im trying rnnn ^-^
A wise man once said-
We're no strangers to love
You know the rules and so do I
A full commitment's what I'm thinking of
You wouldn't get this from any other guy
I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching, but
You're too shy to say it
Inside, we both know what's been going on
We know the game and we're gonna play it
And if you ask me how I'm feeling
Don't tell me you're too blind to see
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
(Ooh, give you up)
(Ooh, give you up)
Never gonna give, never gonna give
(Give you up)
Never gonna give, never gonna give
(Give you up)
Never give up
Ufffff
oh wait so the question already tells you the 1 mol of sodium atoms =23g of sodium? Or is this like the expected knowledge
Expected knowledge
You have learnt masses till 25?
20 is enough too
Ahh listen
oh wait thats just the mass
Yes yes yes yes yes
Yah thats the speciality of avogadro number
Mole is the unit of measuring substance, as an example when there are 10 mangoes we say there are 10 mangoes, but we need a SI unit for measuring substance, that's why mole is derived using avegadro constant, where 1 mole= avegadro constant
@short herald wanna join?
Whose she him
isnt mole the avagadro number
My bestie
yes I get what you're saying doe
Yesss it is
sorry, in a class rn
Oki bro
@short herald college?
Yeah correct
or
Your fundamentals are not cleared is it?
yea not really, my teacher did not explain it well so I'm trying to learn it
negative, high school final
Common but its gud you are wandering outside school
Ahh, avegadro number is a constant, which is not varying, it is 6.022× 10^23
ohh okay
I don't get your points using avogadro here, you're not looking for particules, you just have to use n=m/M
Mole meand 6.022× 10^23 atoms in case of elements, in case of compounds it means 6.022× 10^23
It's just an equation, just to use without understanding concepts
so the final answer would be 2.91 mol ?
Yeah

Here you go gud animation is always better than texts
Yea it'll be better
okay I will watch it thank you
I was you someday that day was past
the answer book does say it is 20.6 divided by 60 doe
oohh, hopefully it will pass for me too
Nah i wasn't satisfied by watching that
oh
Wait wait
Lemme check the question again
There are 20.6g or 60g of acid in the question?
How can a number exist so that for every that number of atoms the mass becomes equivalent to their atomic mass
60= 2xM(C) + 2xM(O) + 4xM(H)
Yayy then divide it by 60, yesyes i was in a wrong point
I haven't seen the question ._. 😂
I understand it now doe thank you so much Hinata
can I ask one more thing doe
theres like 3 questions in that big question
2 say "the amount of"
and one says number of
1 mole is in 60g, so to find the number of 20.6g, u should divide
like what is it asking for
My pleasure
Yay wait, ima see the que
For that 1st calculate number of carbon atoms in the equation
Yes correct
There are 2 carbon atoms in the equation no
No wait
You're saying the number of atoms of carbon in 1 mole of that acid
Ill try figure it out first if I get it wrong you can say what is wrong
ohh
Hi guys. I'm trying to do a research about the relationship about plants and human and plant's emotions. (Are they happy when we touch them or when we talk to them?) but I'm restricted to only 2 languages. If you please can find a couple of scientific article about this on your language it could help me a lot. I will translate it by myself ^^
Divide this 2×6.022 by 0.34, @quaint idol is this right
checks ur unit
Here you go
wait i have answers i can tell you if right or wrong
I jsut dont know how they get it
Nah
